"Wait, so you have five elements than what about the emperor? You said a while ago that he is a lot more talented and skilled than you?" I instantly asked because I am really curious about what he said a while back that Aurelius is stronger than him despite being the archmage. Like how is that even possible? Oh well, in animated series, fictional movies I have seen, and fictional books I have read it is really possible for the emperor to be overpowered but this is not an animated film whatsoever - this is reality and I am living in this reality whether I like it or not.



"Oh yeah, I forgot to answer that query of yours a while ago, sorry 'bout that," he said as he even let out a chuckle and then as if on cue his floating stopped and even the books that are floating a while ago begin to stack up on top of a nearby table. "Aurelius Shen is a lot more powerful compared to me in one simple reason, and that is he is an elemental mage that can use the other additional elements which are lightning, metal, and shadow. Basically what made him powerful is his possession of the shadow element" he said and as if on cue words appeared right before my eyes. But it is not just words to be exact, it is a complete definition or a background to be precise of the elements he mentioned. And of course, he wants me to read every single thing.



And because that is what he wants I really did start reading and I cannot help but be amazed and interested in whatever it is that I am reading right now. And in my peripheral vision, I could see that the archmage named Raphael is actually smiling - it is as if he finally succeeded in catching my attention. Oh hell yes he did, however, I still am pretty skeptical to believe that I too possess this kind of thing.

Okay so let's start reading everything.



Fire element allows the Mage to perform Pyrokinesis, the ability to manipulate and create fire. Fire Element tends to be the most destructive of all elements, with very few defensive properties. Fire Magic can be affected by the weather. When it's sunny and arid, the potency of Fire is enhanced while when it's raining, humid, or underwater, Fire Magic becomes difficult or impossible to use but there are some cases where people are still able to use such magic even if they are in the presence of water magic of some sort and that is only possible if the fire element that one possesses



Water Element allows the Mage to perform Hydrokinesis, the ability to manipulate water at will. Water Magic can be considered to be the most adaptable of all elements. Having the ability to transform into various states, like Ice and Vapor. Water Magic can also be affected by the environment, mostly depending on the humidity and weather.



Wind Element allows the Mage to perform Aerokinesis, the ability to manipulate air and create wind at will. Unlike another element, Wind Magic is invisible and can be considered the deadliest element. Wind Magic makes up for the lack of physical defense capability with deflective and evasive moves. Wind Magic can also be destructive depending on the Magi's potential. And unlike other elements, Wind Magic can directly affect weather, creating hurricanes or other wind-based phenomena.



Earth Element allows the Mage to perform Geokinesis, the ability to manipulate earth at will. While it's not necessarily earth, Earth Magi allows the user to manipulate most earthen minerals or any form of earth, such as rocks, sands, minerals like gemstones and crystals, and even Mud. Boasting raw physical power and great mass, Earth magic is strong in both defensive and offensive capability, as well as pure destructive potential at the cost of the mage's mobility because Earth Magic is often accompanied with sturdy strong movement to be accomplished. There is also another type of earth mage that can perform Chlorokinesis, the ability to manipulate plants and greenery to their will, and sometimes accelerate plant(s) growth and fertility. Earth Mage can also boost the growth of a plant and manipulate various parts of the plant(s). This includes leaves, seeds, roots, even dead leaves or fallen trees. This causes earth magic to depend heavily on the environment.

earth magic becomes near impossible to use in the absence of any greenery. Many earth mages make up for that by carrying plant seeds or leaves with them.



Lightning Element allows the Magi to perform Fulgurkinesis, the ability to manipulate electricity at will, and the ability to absorb and store electricity in their body. Lightning Magic's potential is also destructive, as they have similar nature to Fire. But, unlike Fire. Lightning Magic is much faster and has almost no defensive properties. Lightning can be considered to be the most dangerous to humans, as it can injure other people easily and cause multiple injuries. Lightning Magic can also affect the weather, causing a Storm and Thunder strikes. That is, however, considered to be an advanced level of Lightning Magic.



Metal Element allows the Magi to perform Ferrokinesis, the ability to manipulate metal at will. Metal can be considered versatile, boasting the strongest physical durability and malleability. Although, unlike other elements, Metal is not an element you can always find and not in a big number, thus limiting the versatility of this element. This element shines the most against Metal-based weapons.

Similar to Wood Magi, Metal Magi often have to bring something made of metal with them to compensate for the lack of resources.



The most mysterious of the elements. There's no defined definition or explanation of what Vox Magic can actually do, except that it focuses on the usage of the user's voice. Although not much is known, Vox Magic is considered to be the rarest Element. The knowledge of this mysterious element is only passed from teacher to student. But one thing is for sure, this element is really a gift from the gods that is why only a few people are able to possess such power and as they possess the power given by the gods they are also considered to be the messengers of the divine being - they are the ones who receive oracles and the such





The shadow element is the extinct element that no other Mage bloodline can obtain at birth. Shadow Magic can only be inherited by a certain bloodline. And, similar to Vox, the element itself is not known by most people. Information regarding shadow magic is very limited. It is said that Shadow Magic was 'shared' by multiple people. Each Shadow Mage is capable of performing a certain ability with their Shadow Magic, from binding people to their shadow, traveling through shadow, materializing shadows, etc.

When all other Shadow Magi died, all those abilities were transferred to the last shadow mage. Allowing him to use all these abilities at will. The drawback is that this magic causes the current user to be bloodthirsty or murderous. The Shadow is both solid and ethereal, meaning it can't be blocked through physical means, one thing that can extinguish the shadow magic is a really bright light source.



"Okay, I guess you are already done reading the important details regarding each element," Raphael stated, and as if on cue the words right in front of me instantly disappeared and right now I am looking directly at him. "Since you already know the basics of it, well technically again since I already told you that before we started working on your magic flow. Oh well, let's just continue" he said, and I am about to say something when suddenly I just saw the magic circle below me glowing and I do not know but for some reason, my body started feeling hot.



My body is feeling hot however just like a while ago, it does not seem painful - there was really no pain but it does make me feel uncomfortable for some reason. This is actually the first time that the magic circle beneath me that the Archmage Raphael made glowed because a while ago it really did not even have a single flicker of light or something.



"I was not really planning on using this spell because I thought that you will easily be able to reveal your magical prowess but I guess I am wrong. So, anyway, let's just get this over with" he added to what he said a while ago, and before I could even protest the heat that I am feeling inside my body instantly intensified, and not only that I am really feeling uncomfortable it is as if I want the heat inside my body to be released.



"So what are you feeling right now?" he suddenly asked and I am about to say that I feel incredibly hot inside my body when suddenly the hotness disappeared and I suddenly felt chills - like it definitely feels like my body is buried under a large block of ice and I am hella freezing.



"I don't know! It's hot a while ago and right now it's too cold!" I said and even if I am concerned with the situation of my body I instantly saw how Raphael frown after he heard what I just said, it is as if he really did not expect that I would say what I just said.

"Are you serious about that?" he asked again and I literally raised an eyebrow at him because why the hell will I be joking at this moment and the fact that I do not exactly know what the heck is happening to me pisses me off big time! Like what the hell is this feeling - while ago I am feeling too hot now I am feeling too cold like seriously?



I am about to ask him what the hell is going on with me when suddenly I felt something different again inside my body and it is a lot more intense than the hotness and coldness that I felt because what I am feeling at the moment instantly made me fell down on my knees and I even started clutching my chest because it is really making me too uncomfortable.



"Dawn Scarlett, can you describe to me what is happening to you?" I heard him say but instead of answering him all I am able to let out from my mouth is a simple groan because it is obvious - whatever I am feeling right now really makes me unable to utter a single word. As time passes by, the way I clutch my chest grew tighter and I am also getting a little bit dizzy because what I am feeling continues to intensify and I feel like I need to release it in order to free myself from such feeling.



I know that my eyes are about to shut down - as it will only take about a few minutes when suddenly I saw the little fox with nine tails right before my eyes although it was quite blurry I know that he is right in front of me - looking straight at my eyes and it is as if it is waiting for my orders, but what would I actually say to this fella?
