"But Daw Scarlett, have you actually realized that he is not a simple spirit or familiar?" Raphael suddenly asked which made me turn my head immediately in his direction and I nod my head as an answer.



"Yes, I kind of have a knowledge that he is a powerful being but still I am not that sure" I honestly said and he then nods his head but in just a second a book came flying towards my direction and it immediately stopped right in front of me. And when I looked at the title of the book I cannot help but be interested.



"Divine beings" is the title of the book that has stopped right before my eyes.



"The thing is he is not only powerful but he is the second-ranking divine being recorded in the books of this world," he said and that made me instantly look at Yuki and my eyes have grown wide although I already expected that he is a divine being, I still cannot believe that he is the second-ranking one - like how the heck was I able to summon such powerful being in the first place? "But before we are to talk about familiars or the divine beings in general, let me tell you a little something about spirits because of course, you are the divine lady and you have a clear connection with them"



"Spirits are small particles of energy not visible to the human eye. If a spirit is visible to a human then that only means three things: First, the spirits recognized that person therefore they made a decision to reveal themselves and at some point allow that person to be able to form a contract with them. Second, that person has been born with the eye of the beholder, which allows him or her to see the spirits. But note that having the eye of the beholder does not really mean anything and it does not mean an increase in power or something, it is simply a blessing from the gods to be able to see spirits. The third reason is that if the human being is actually the chosen one of the gods and basically you are that person chosen by the gods to be able to see and make a contract with the spirits. So what is the difference between the second and third reasons? Simple and that is the spirits deem whether a person is worthy of using their power or not and often times they do reject human beings who want to make a contract with them. In history, there are only three people who have successfully gained the favor of a few spirits, and those people have already left this world long ago, and ever since their passing no one was able to make a contract with a spirit again." he said which instantly made me turn my head toward Yuki. Is it right to say that Yuki has appeared right before my eyes the moment I woke up days ago because he had deemed me worthy for some reason? Or maybe if he had the chance, like if I am not the divine lady, would he actually appear right before my eyes and right now become what Raphael had mentioned a while back as my familiar?



I don't know but I cannot help but to overthink and have those what-if thoughts inside my head.





"It is said that these spirits are the soul of the earth. A mage naturally has the ability to feel these forms of energy, again, they can only feel it but not literally see it unless the spirit revealed itself. Just, for example, your familiar a while ago - I really cannot actually see it at first but I can feel its presence and after quite some time I was able to see his blurry figure and right now I am able to see him clearly, I guess it is because I helped you in being able to know your element and also I may have already proven my worth and loyalty to you. "



"Anyways" he then paused and faked a cough in order to regain his voice because he really has been speaking nonstop since a while ago and I do not know but in one way or another I am grateful that he is actually going through such lengths in order to inform me about the things that I am completely oblivious about. Unlike that god Fourteen who is making my life even harder in this world - really, he could have just told me about this information the moment that I woke up or before he sent both my body and soul to this world.



But anyways, I cannot do anything about it now because obviously, I cannot change the past - what I could do now is to make sure that the present and my future in this world is still the same thing as I planned - oh well, maybe not exactly the same as what I have planned but anyways my goal is to make sure that I will live my life to the fullest - without dictations from anyone and I am going to cure a lot of people with my skills.





"These form of energy is sorted into 6 different colors based on their properties, meaning there are six kinds of spirits in this world that you may encounter sooner or later because again, you are the Divine lady and I know that you do not want anyone to find out so I am telling you this for you not to be shocked when you saw them.



First are the Blue Spirits also known as Spirits of Time. Blue Spirits are in constant movement around us. When you are already able to harness the power of the Spirit of Time, you are able to temporarily "stop" time by stopping the movement of the Blue Spirits. The limit to this kind of magic is no more than a 5-meter radius around the user. You who have the ability to use Blue spirit magic can stop every form of movement and momentum for 5-10 seconds and everything and also the opponent you used that to is slowed down to a point it looks like time was stopped, giving that name to the spirits.



The second is Green Spirits also known as Spirits of Healing. When injured, you may summon Green Spirits to heal wounds to some extent. Although unable to heal serious injuries like broken bones, they can heal basic wound disease, and sometimes some poisons due to their ability to speed up the natural healing. Green Spirit magic is often being used by doctors, veterinarians and even gardeners since Green Spirit magic can help plants recover. Physical contact is necessary to heal the living being. While Green Spirit magic can heal a lot of things, if the wounds are too great or a person is dying, not even Green Spirits can help. Smaller wounds may take a few minutes to heal, while more severe wounds may take a few "sessions" to let the body rest between the healings. And since you are a doctor, it may be possible that you have also used the power of the green spirits to some extent subconsciously but don't worry even if you have indeed used it to some extend no one would know because it would just look like a simple miracle" he said which made me froze on my seat because I remembered something that happened right when I entered the palace.



I already said this a couple of times but again, Emperor - Aurelius Shen's legs should really be healed after a few months but then again the moment that I inspected it days ago or rather the moment that I woke up from my deep slumber, I found out that he can already walk like the way he did before in just a week. Did I use the Green Spirits abilities unconsciously? No that really is not possible because Raphael said a while back that these spirits are unable to heal serious injuries like broken bones, they can only heal basic wound disease, and sometimes some poisons due to their ability to speed up the natural healing.



And Aurelius Shen's legs are really broken and on top of that his whole body is also poisoned - no more like he already consumed a lot of poison and his body basically created its own antibodies to fight those toxins and the surprising thing is that those antibodies are really doing their job in detoxifying his body. When I actually got his blood sample, I cannot help but be amazed as well at how his blood is showing no signs of irregularities despite being able to consume poison for quite some time now.



And the surprising this is that although it is pretty obvious that he is already immune to any kind of poison - his body can still take medicines without experiencing anything wrong.



"Hey, Dawn Scarlett, why did you space out suddenly?" I heard Raphael suddenly asked which made me turn my head instantly to him and basically that made me return to my senses.



"I don't know but I have a gut feeling that I have used the power of the Green Spirits that you are talking about" I honestly said as I even put my right hand on my forehead to massage it because really such assumption is making my head throb in pain.



"What? Can you actually specify the details to me?" he asked and it is obvious that he is pretty curious about what I am talking about - well, of course, he would because I am really completely clueless about these things yet here I am saying that I could have used such power really without knowing it. Well, it is all thanks to him that I was able to have that assumption anyway.



Oh well, I just better tell him the whole story on why did I came to such assumption that I may actually have used the power of the green spirits without knowing - and if that is the case then there is a possibility that Aurelius Shen could have noticed as well, but fck I wish that really just thought that it was because of his own body and not because of something that I possess but the thing is from the expression he had on his face when I revealed it to him that his legs are getting better rapidly he seem to have instantly believed what I have said - he had this expression that somewhat tells me that he already expected that he will heal in such a short period of time but anyways I need to tell this archmage first the details so that I will also know if there is a possibility that Aurelius have realized that I have used a spirit's power and that is the reason why he is marrying me in the first place.



But whatever it is - I am perfectly ready on hearing whatever Raphael is about to say right in my face and that moment that I found out if it is really because of the green spirits then that is the time that I will think about what should I do next especially in making sure that Aurelius did not notice that I just did something extra-ordinary for a doctor and not to of course, for me to be able to plan my next movements ahead of time because I believe in the saying that it is better to be ready than sorry to whatever the future is about to bring.



But heck, I really can't help but to hope that I did not use the power of the spirit or for Raphael to assure me that Aurelius cannot see spirits.
