"So you are basically telling me that because of the fact that my flames are dark red in color has a high possibility that I do possess the alpha. But what about the omega? You said that I do have it too but the thing is how can I have black-colored flames? Also, you have said it definitely can be considered as a legend since you together with the previously chosen one of the gods wasn't really able to find anything in particular about those flames" I said, or rather the right term is that I exclaimed because I really cannot believe what they are saying - okay, I have mentioned a while ago that there is a possibility that I may really possess the two variants of the fire element they are talking about but after a few minutes of thinking about it, it actually looks quite impossible too at the same time.



How can I possess two variants at the same time inside my body? That would be too impossible for me - or rather I would rather be 'too blessed' by the gods to be able to have the two - the right term is that I would really be overpowered. And another subtle reason is that I know for a fact that possessing those two powers entails great responsibility and because of that I need to make sure to be able to master it immediately - it is really the first magic ability that I should be able to control and honestly, I do not want that. I am already struggling to control the fire element as of the moment what more if what Alaistair and Raphael said about me, possibly possessing the alpha and the omega?



Also, they have said that they have searched it for a long time already and yet they haven't found anything - how sure are they that the alpha and the omega they are talking about indeed exists in this world? What if is just a metaphor for the gods and the calamity? That there is really no such thing as that as a variant of the fire element? I am not really against what the previously chosen one had found out but the thing is we too shouldn't be stagnant in that information - information changes from each generation or whatsoever, how credible is that information they have found decades ago? The thing is that we should be open to different possibilities: different changes. Yes, they have made their point and they do have a point but I also have a point.



"Well, you do have a point indeed," Raphael said and I am about to say something when he spoke again which basically stopped me from doing so. "However, our study about the alpha and the omega is not simply out of intuition - it is not a legend that we are trying so hard to look for. Actually, we have already encountered the alpha and the omega before that is why we are looking for answers about it" that is what he said and I can't help but frown because although my comprehension skills are actually quite high I still can't seem to comprehend what he just said - or maybe what he meant is clear and I have already understood it but the thing is that I still need a very profound explanation about it.



"The thing is we already met one person who possesses both the alpha and the omega. At first, he only had dark-red colored flames then after a while he was able to use black flames" Alaistair suddenly said, and that almost made my mouth hang open. Wait --what? If they have already met a person who was able to use dark-red colored flames and black colored ones, which are the alpha and the omega as they have named it - then why are they still searching for it or rather why are they struggling in examining it when in fact they could have just asked for that person's help in the first place?



"The moment we saw him use those flames, we were literally amazed and Lucius, being a complete freak in studying magic and everything about it grew fascinated in those flames because it was the first time such flames was seen his fascination grew towards those flames. We searched for that person who was able to use those flames because right after we have seen him once - he just disappeared like he never existed." He continued and I cannot help but have a question on my head - alright so if that man who could use the alpha and the omega disappeared the moment that they have seen him first then how the heck did they come up with the name the alpha and the omega? Because they have said that at first, the man was just able to use dark-red colored flames so how the heck did they find out that the man was able to use black-colored ones in the first place?



And once again, I have lots of questions piled up inside my brain and once again, I am not going to stop until I found the answers to my questions especially since it deeply concerns me because of the fact that they are saying that I may possess those flames as well.





"Just like what I have said, Lucius is hungry for knowledge, and as his companions, we too have become like him and because of that hunger, we strive to find where that individual is to know more about the beautiful dark-red flames that we saw. We are deeply fascinated with those flames because it was not like any other flames that we saw. It can burn even the strongest metal and it never extinguishes unless the wielder commanded it to do so and what made the three of us curious about what the flame really is, is its ability to be able to close up wounds of the wielder and of other people as well.



And so we literally traveled from one kingdom to another in order to find that man and time passed by - I assume that it was ten to eleven months, we saw him once again. However, it was not an ordinary meet up because we met him on the battlefield as we are trying to fight the monsters that are infesting the Western Kingdom and at that moment we have seen him use again those beautiful dark red flames in order to burn all his enemies down" Alaistair continued and I can't help but frown because of what he said. Okay, they were able to see that person again but then again, he was still just using dark--red colored flames and if they have seen him again then most probably they could have had a conversation with him - asked him about a few things or maybe he also became their companion in fighting the monsters that the calamity had brought to this world.



"On that day, when we are about to approach him because we thought that everything is already finished; that we have already defeated all the monsters but we are wrong. A black hole appeared from the ground and much more powerful monsters came out - and fought it of course, however, we were outnumbered, some of the mages and imperial knights are already severely wounded, some can no longer fight and others have already been consumed. And since we are still not that powerful as we are right now, we admit that we are too are about to reach half of our limit. Raphael is busy healing the other knights and mages in order to be able to restore at least half of our forces while fighting monsters while I too am holding the monsters using my dark magic and Lucius on the other hand is also doing the same, while healing the wounded, giving prayers to those who have died so they are able to cross over to the heavens without turning into monsters themselves, he was also purifying the place that is filled with a dark aura that could affect all the people and he was also fighting the monsters." Alaistair said once again then Raphael continued his narrative and the next thing that he said literally made me freeze on my seat which made me realize the reason why they actually name the two variants of flames as the alpha and the omega.



"The man who is named Demetri, that could use dark-red flames said to us that we should no longer waste our energy. He introduced himself to us and thanked us for being able to help his homeland however, he also told us that everything was enough and that we should leave the rest to him, and after that, we should just focus on healing everyone and restoring the broken part of the western kingdom. Lucius did not feel right with the words he said so, he was about to stop Demetri from doing something outrageous, however just as when Lucius was about to cast a protective barrier around him he was suddenly pushed back. No - rather we were all pushed back by his flames and then a wall of flames was made between us and Demetri and no matter how hard we try we cannot cross those flames. Lucius tried his best to create an opening and when he did, there we saw black flames surrounding Demetri's body and he said something - words that we cannot understand however we knew that it was some kind of incantation and in just a blink of an eye, all the monsters disappeared, the skies returned to be clear, the black hole the spawns monsters also disappeared but so does Demetri."
