A Jealous Alpha's Insults
Evelyn gulped as she got up from her position. She knows the alpha is going to give her hell when he'll get her alone.
"I'm sorry, Luna. It seems like we made the alpha upset, " Josh tugged on his curly hair.
"It's not your fault, " Scarlett interfered. "Keiran is the one who's supposed to teach his mate this but he's not doing that. He has no right to be upset," Scarlett furrowed her perfectly shaped eyebrows in disdain.
Evelyn stayed silent. Scarlett wasn't happy about how her son treated the omega. Even if she is an omega, Evelyn is a human being. She shouldn't be mistreated for something she couldn't control.
"I'll talk to him, " Scarlett breathed out, causing the omega to look at her in surprise.
"No no, it's okay, " The girl refused. She didn't want to cause an argument between the mother and son. The alpha loved his mother dearly. She didn't want to be the reason for their argument. That would make him hate her even more. "I'll manage," She said with a wavering smile.
"Will you be okay? " Rain questioned, his doe eyes shining with worry.
Evelyn ruffled his hair. "Of course!"
"Keiran won't listen to you, " Scarlett didn't want to let the omega go alone. She knew her son and what he's going to do. "He might be really—"
"I know," The omega cut her off. "He might be angry at me….but I have to talk to him….make him understand my side of things...." Evelyn sighed. "I'll go now, " She said, walking out with a clenched fist.

Keiran paced around in his study. Seeing the omega under another man made his wolf restless. Not marking his mate as soon as they got married had already put his wolf into a foul mood. And now it's worse.
'How dare…... How dare they…' The alpha thought, his fist clenching as he remembered the scene.
A sudden knock on the door made him jump out of his thoughts. A faint alluring scent of jasmine filled his lungs causing his eyes to flash a glowing red.
"Come in," He spoke calmly but his voice fell into Evelyn's ears like it was deep and serious.
The omega stepped in timidly but she didn't look down this time. "W-why did you call me?" The girl cursed herself for stuttering in her mind.
"What were you doing in the arsenal? " Keiran walked to her like a tiger stalking its prey.
His mate gulped softly, " Scarlett took me there," She spoke up bravely. "S-she wanted me to learn how to fight,"
Keiran scoffed. "Really?" He chuckled. "You? Fight? You must be kidding me, " The alpha laughed, making the omega clench her fists.
"I'm not, " Evelyn felt irritated at the alpha. "I'm learning to fight, "
"That wasn't what I saw there, " Keiran gritted his teeth remembering the scene.
"Nothing happened there," Evelyn frowned. "Josh was teaching me and then we fell, that was it."
Keiran strode towards her, "You're my mate! Keep that in mind and don't w*ore around! Do you understand? "
"W-What?" Evelyn stared at the alpha in surprise. Her green eyes widened as she tried to comprehend what he just said. "You… you called me a w-w*ore…" She breathed out, unbelievably. Her mate just degraded her to a slut.
The omega felt her eyes fill up with tears as she stepped back. 'That's what he thinks about me? Is that what I am to him?' She wiped her tears. The thoughts made her head hurt.
"And stop going to the arsenal," The alpha continued nonchalantly. "You're not going to do anything even after you learn to fight," He scoffed.
Evelyn gritted her teeth. "No," She spoke, her teary eyes meeting the alpha's surprised ones. "I want to learn," The determination was evident in her eyes and voice.
"You're the one who called me weak. You told me I'll put the Pack in danger. Don't you want that to change? " The omega raised a brow.
"What do you think you're gonna change?" Keiran stepped closer. "Even if you learn to fight, you're still a weak, wolfless, omega." To the omega, her mate's words felt like shards of glass piercing her heart. "You're like a human, nothing more." He huffed.
"I know… I'm not the strongest wolf but I'll try… I'll try my best for the Pack. I'm their Luna after all," Evelyn wasn't ready to back down. She wanted to be able to defend herself at least.
"You weren't like this yesterday, " The alpha clenched his defined jaw. "Where's your shy and quiet persona? Was that a cover-up? You're showing your true colors right after you became the Luna, aren't you? "
Evelyn fought a frown. "Isn't this what you wanted? You humiliated me for being weak, called me a danger for this Pack, but now when I decided to learn to fight, why are you against it?"
Keiran gritted his teeth. He had no answer for that. He didn't know why. A faint voice in the back of his mind told him that it was because he saw Josh and Evelyn together. But he quickly dismissed the thought, burying it deep inside his mind. "Because I don't want you to distract my warriors with your sluty behavior, " He spat out, leaving the girl speechless.
Evelyn stared at her mate for a minute, her mind frozen. "Y-You think of me as a s-slut… " Tears ran down the omega's pink cheeks. "Why… ?" She looked up, teary green eyes meeting the alpha's icy blue ones, making him immediately look away.
"You reek of that beta, " He snapped, striding towards her. "What other evidence do you need?" Keiran's veiny hands gripped the omega's golden hair, drawing a surprised gasp out of her.
He leaned closer to her neck. "It's disgusting, " He seethed. Evelyn couldn't help but whimper. Even though the girl tried to be strong, the angry alpha pheromones in the room made her knees weak.
Keiran slowly rubbed his nose on the omega's neck, unknowingly scent-marking the omega. Josh's scent on her made him see red for some reason.
Evelyn tried to wiggle away but her feeble attempts were no use towards the alpha. It was getting hard for her to fight against him. After all, they are mates, her body craves his touch—be it a simple touch of their skin.
Keiran's tongue darted out, licking the luscious skin of the omega's neck. His fangs ached to imprint her, to put on a beautiful mark on the pale skin. It was sweetly tempting him.
"Al-Alpha, stop," Evelyn whispered out as she felt the alpha slightly bite her neck.
Keiran quickly pulled away, face flushed with an alarming expression. The omega's voice had pulled him into reality. His face morphed into a confused and disgusted look before he glared at the omega and left the room, slamming the door close.
