The Untamed
"We're so sorry, dear. We've taken care of those guys so you don't need to worry. We are really sorry about what you had to go through, " Mary took Evelyn's hand in hers as she apologized.
"We apologize for the traumatic experience. It's our fault that—"
"It's not your fault, Mr. Walker. It's them. They're the ones who attacked me. You both did nothing wrong, " Evelyn cut off the alpha.
Mary chuckled as she heard the omega's words. "You think like that because you're kind-hearted and forgiving but we all know that our pack failed to ensure the security of our guests," She sighed.
"Let's leave that subject… I'm fine so let's not worry about it anymore, " The girl smiled in the hope to dismiss the awkward situation.
"So what were you going to show us? " Keiran asked when he sensed his mate's uncomfortableness.
A bright smile formed on Mr. Walker's face. "We never showed him to anyone but I think you guys deserve it, " He said, making the young couple confused.
"Papa, are you taking them to him? " Everyone turned to the door to see Daya and David walking in.
"Who is he? " Kieran frowned.
"Come on, we'll show you," The older alpha said, briskly walking out of the room.

"Whoa… " Keiran awed, looking down at the wide pit.
Down there was a small pond, a big rock, and two trees. Under the shade of a tree was a fully grown tiger, glaring at everyone above him.
A growl erupted from his lips, making the birds in the nearby trees fly away in fear.
"So majestic, right? " Mr. Walker asked with a proud smile.
Evelyn stared mesmerized at the big cat. "Beautiful… " She muttered.
"Is he tamed? " Keiran turned to Mr. Walker who shook his head.
"Unfortunately, no. We tried so many times but nothing worked…He's like Untamable," He shrugged.
"Then why are you keeping him?" Evelyn turned to the alpha with a frown.
"What?"
"Why are you keeping him when you can't tame him? Can't you let him go? " The omega tilted her head and everyone in there laughed except for Keiran.
"Who would want to let go of such a beautiful and powerful creature like this? That would be stupid, " Mr.Walker chuckled and looked down at the tiger.
Evelyn couldn't help but frown again at the alpha's reply. That sounded so cruel. She wanted to argue but decided against it, not wanting to create an awkward atmosphere again.
"Don't worry, we take good care of him. You see here, the walls of the pit are really steep and cemented so he can't escape. The roof is movable so he can get sunlight and rain if he wants to. He's not a fan of snow so we don't move it much these days," He said.
"Mom, don't lean on the fence, it's dangerous," David said suddenly, causing everyone's attention to turn to Maria who was leaning on the iron fence around the pit.
"It's okay, dear. I'm not leaning that strong," Maria disregarded her son's comment and continued to look down at the tiger.
"How many trainers did you have for him?" Keiran asked the older alpha.
"Eight," Mr. Walker said with a sigh.
"He's very aggressive and angry whenever we go into his personal space. He decides what he does and no one else can make him do anything," David said, staring down at the tiger resting on the rock.
"Guys, look! He's letting the fishes grow in the pond! " Maria said excitedly, pointing down at the pond.
Everyone turned towards the luna.
And it all happened so fast that no one had the time to react.
Maria shrieked when the fence swayed, making her lose her balance. Out of instinct, she held onto it tightly which caused it to fall back into the pit more.
"Mom! " David shouted.
Evelyn gasped and caught the lady's hand quickly but it wasn't quick enough to save them both. The fall was so unexpected that Maria couldn't prepare for it and her instinct to escape made her grab onto Evelyn's hand tightly which caused both of them to fall.
"Evelyn!" Keiran shouted, his eyes bulging out as he saw what was happening. Before he could catch his mate, Evelyn and Maria were already out of his reach.
He froze, watching the omega fall in sheer panic.
"Maria!" Mr. Walker cried before turning to his son. "David! Get the gun! " He ordered and turned to make sure his mate was okay.
Luckily, Evelyn and Maria fell on the sand which didn't cause them many injuries.
Keiran felt relieved when he saw Evelyn was okay but that only lasted for a little bit.
A menacing growl ripped through the air, making everyone freeze on their spot.
The tiger was up and he looked furious to see intruders in his territory.
He growled at the two women who cowered back in fear.
"Evelyn, stay there! Don't move! " Keiran acted quickly and ran to the opposite side of where Evelyn and Maria fell.
Evelyn's eyes widened as she realized what the alpha was about to do. "No! Stop! Don't do it! " She shouted but her mate was busy tying a rope to one of the iron bars.
After he made sure the knot was tight, he slowly started to descend to the pit. Evelyn gulped. This is dangerous, the alpha could get himself killed.
The omega looked back at the old lady quickly. She was sitting with her hands on her head but Evelyn didn't have the time to ask if she was okay because the tiger was inching closer and closer.
"David! Get the damn gun already!"
"I'm loading it, dad! "
Evelyn heard shouts coming from above.
"Mom, are you okay!? " Daya shouted at them but none of them could reply.
The predator was inching closer and closer.
Suddenly, the tiger jerked and turned around alarmed when something hit him in the back. His ears and tail showed how alert he was.
Keiran stood opposite to him with two big rocks in his hands, ready to throw.
Evelyn couldn't help but gasp when he threw the stone at the animal, making the big cat growl furiously.
The tiger took a step back, his ears pinned down and canines exposed.
Oh no.
It was going to pounce on him.
"NO! STOP!!!"
