The Party And The Perverts

"Are you ready? " The alpha asked, knocking on the bathroom door.

He heard a faint whisper of 'yes' before the door opened.

Keiran bit his lip to hide the smirk as he stared at his beautiful mate.

Evelyn stood there in an indicolite-colored flowy off-shoulder dress that stopped right below her knees. She let her long blonde hair down, making it look like she just stepped right out of a fairy tale.

Evelyn didn't know how to do makeup so she only applied the lip gloss and eyeshadow Scarlett gave her. But in the alpha's eyes, it was enough to make the girl look like a goddess.

The omega shyly looked down, playing with her dress to avoid meeting Keiran's eyes. "S-Scarlett selected it," She whispered out. Keiran hummed in reply.

Evelyn slowly looked up when the alpha stayed silent for almost a minute. It was when she saw what Keiran was wearing.

Keiran looked like a sexy beast in his black suit. The first few buttons of his white shirt were undone, tauntingly exposing a little bit of his strong chest.
It showed off how masculine he was.

Evelyn couldn't help but stare dumbfoundedly as the alpha stood there with a cocky grin. He suddenly snapped his fingers in front of her face, making her jump out of her trance.

"You can stare at me as much as you want once the party is over," He chuckled. "But now we gotta go," He said, making Evelyn flush red like a cherry.

"O-Okay," The omega stuttered out, hiding her face with her hands.

"Do you like the party?" Keiran asked his mate as he saw her looking around.

Evelyn nodded. "It's really beautiful I think… I've never been to any parties so I don't know much about it… sorry, " She gave him a sheepish smile.

"It's simple…" The alpha started. "When we come to a party the first thing we have to do is greet the hosts just like we did a moment ago.

Then we have to go to the drinks section you see over there," He pointed towards a long table filled with all kinds of drinks, fruits, and desserts. "Come on," He dragged the omega towards the table.

"There are so many drinks. Champagne, whiskey, vodka, wines, cocktails, and juices, and all that. You can select what you want," He shrugged. "What do you want?" Keiran asked the girl who bit her lips.

"Orange juice," She said, after thinking for a minute.

The alpha couldn't control the chuckle that slipped past his lips. He shook his head as he turned to the waiter. "A glass of orange juice and a Dom Perignon for me," He ordered before turning towards Evelyn again.

"After getting the drinks, we have to socialize with everyone. That's how we get to know more people and make alliances with them," He explained.

"What alliance?" Evelyn tilted her head.

Keiran shrugged. "Alliances with other Packs will benefit us both—"

"Hey, Keiran!"

Keiran was interrupted by a high-pitched voice.

Keiran and Evelyn both turned sideways to see Daya smiling at them. Well, Evelyn would say she was only smiling at the alpha.

"Hey, Daya, " Keiran smiled as the girl walked towards him and hugged his side.

"You look handsome," She said as she pulled away to take a better look at the alpha.

Keiran laughed. "You look pretty too," He complimented, making the girl flush.

Evelyn nervously chewed on her lips. It was the first time Keiran was talking to her that calmly and this girl just ruined it all and on top of it she's flirting with him too.

"Did you have dinner? " Daya looked at the alpha, her eyes fluttering a bit as she talked.

Evelyn frowned. Daya sounded like her vocal cords were covered in honey. It was sickly sweet.

"No, we will in a few hours," Keiran replied.

"Hmm… By the way," She started slowly. "I've been wanting to ask you why you didn't invite anyone to your wedding?" She smirked and swirled the glass of wine in her hand before taking a sip.

The alpha sighed. "It happened in a rush, that's why," He replied with a shrug.

"You know, I've always thought your mate would be someone like you… who could match your power and confidence but it's… surprising that your mate turned out to be a plain girl like her," Daya looked Evelyn up and down in disdain.

"Daya, " Keiran's voice was stern. "She's my luna and disrespecting her in front of me is like disrespecting me,"

Daya chuckled. "I didn't mean to disrespect you, alpha. I was just… curious as to why you haven't marked her yet," The girl had a lopsided smirk on her face. "Is she really your mate? "
She raised a brow.

Evelyn's frown deepened. She wanted to tell her that she's Keiran's mate but she was afraid to cause a scene.

Keiran clenched his jaw. "Look Miss," He started, his voice dangerously serious. "Just because you know me from college, doesn't mean you can interfere in my personal life. So keep your little curious nose out of my business," He hovered over the girl whose smile instantly faltered. "Got it?" He asked, his voice deep and hard.

Daya nodded and immediately mumbled out an apology, her confident look no longer there.

Evelyn couldn't help but chuckle at the girl's sudden change in demeanor.

"Where's David? I want to talk to him," Keiran asked, making Daya look up at him.

"H-He's there. I'll go call h-him, " She stuttered out before running away.

Keiran turned to Evelyn with a smirk. He winked at the girl, causing her to blush red.

He's been teasing the omega too much lately.

A few minutes later, David came to talk with Keiran. They were having a conversation about weapons and training while Evelyn stood there awkwardly.

Evelyn didn't know what they were talking about and she also didn't have anyone else to talk to. The omega looked around awkwardly and saw Daya and her friends looking at her while they were whispering something.

Some of them were laughing at her as they talked. It made Evelyn feel extremely uncomfortable and self-conscious. She was new to all this party thing and the girls laughing at her made her feel like she did something stupid

Daya and her friends continued to make her uncomfortable more and more as time passed. Evelyn felt nervous. She just wanted to escape.

The omega tugged on her mate's sleeves, making him look down at her.
Keiran raised a brow. "What? "

"Umm… I don't feel well… C-Can I go back to the room? "

"What happened? " The alpha's frown deepened.

" N-Nothing, I just need some rest... "

Keiran sighed as he heard the omega. He reluctantly agreed thinking maybe it's because she's not used to parties.

"Go take a rest, I'll have dinner with you in our room," He said before turning back towards David.

Evelyn quickly walked towards their room. She felt extremely relieved after escaping from Daya's and her friends' pointed stares.

But that relief was very short-lived.

The girl froze when a creepy voice of a man came from behind her.

"Why's a beautiful omega like you roaming around alone at this time of the night?"

Evelyn turned around nervously.

And unfortunately, there wasn't only one man.

There were two.
