Playing With Fire

Josh looked down with a smile as he saw Calvin kiss Rain on the stage. He wasn't happy about it but he wished everything would work out for the omega.

His feelings don't matter.

It's Rain's life.

He can't keep them away.


That would be dangerous.


"Josh, "


The beta turned around to see Evelyn looking at him with a small smile.

"Where are you going? You haven't had dinner yet, " She asked and Josh shook his head.

"I'm okay, luna. I'm not hungry. I was just going for a walk, " He tried to smile but failed miserably.

"Are you okay? " Evelyn's smile disappeared.

"I'm fine, luna. I'll be back in a few minutes, " He replied before walking away with a small smile.

Josh couldn't deny it.

His heart was heavy.

Like a stone was tied down to it.

The beta inhaled the cold air as he walked further into the woods.

It was calm.

The darkness and silence that enveloped him calmed his mind.

He decided to spend some time on one of the guard points.

The beta wanted to be alone to calm his mind and so he started walking towards the oldest tree in the woods.

On top of the tree, there was a small tree house made for warriors to keep a watch over the pack. It gave a full view of the pack as well as the woods but due to the treehouse being built so high up, warriors don't often go there.


But Josh likes to be there.

Especially in the full moon because it was beautiful and calm.

Josh heaved a sigh as he finished climbing up the treehouse. There was no light in the house because it would attract the intruder's attention. Also, there was no need for it as the moonlight was enough to see everything clearly.


The beta flopped down on the small couch with a sigh. His head was hurting and his heart was heavy.

He knew the best option was to take a nap so he could forget about everything.

Maybe he'll feel better when he wakes up.

"K-Keiran, " Evelyn breathed out as the alpha pinned her to the wall.

Keiran could only hum as his lips were busy marking the omega's neck. The alpha's muscles flexed as he trapped his mate between him and the wall.

He looked up at the omega's face and then slammed his lips on hers again. He tapped on the girl's thighs and Evelyn wrapped her legs around the alpha without any hesitation.

"You're making me lose my mind, " Keiran whispered out as he carried the omega towards the bed. He sat down with the girl on his lap.

They just took a bath a few minutes ago. Evelyn was wearing her bathroom robe while Keiran was only in a towel wrapped around his hips.

The omega slowly raked her hand through her mate's wet hair. It looked even longer when it was wet.

The girl hummed when the alpha continued to place butterfly kisses around her neck.

"Evelyn," Keiran said in between the kisses.

"Hmm? "

"I wanted to tell you something..." The alpha looked up at her face. He sighed before hugging her closer. "I… I'm sorry, " He said suddenly, causing Evelyn's eyes to widen.

"W-What? " The omega asked in disbelief.

"I know I've done some messed up things to you in the past and I wanted to apologize for it. I was an assh*le then and I'm regretting it all right now, " Keiran mumbled, snuggling into the omega's neck.

Evelyn was speechless for a minute.

She made the alpha look up at her while a small smile danced on her lips. "You're adorable when you apologize, " The girl chuckled.

Keiran looked away in embarrassment. His alpha pride was getting offended by the word 'adorable'. "S-So you forgive me? " He asked, a little unsure.

Evelyn could hide her smile. "I forgave you long ago," She sighed. "I know you've hurt me really bad. There were times when I cried myself to sleep thinking I would never be loved by anyone…I was on the verge of losing hope…" She trailed off. "But you came back to me, " She caressed her mate's cheeks. "And you gave me the warmth I was longing for. That was enough for me. You're all I need, "

Keiran didn't waste any second to kiss the omega's lips. "I'm sorry for everything. I was such an idiot, "


Evelyn laughed at the statement. "That's okay. You're my idiot, " She said before kissing him again.

They continued the kiss for a minute before the alpha's hand sneaked inside her robe and pinched her nipples, earning a sweet moan out of the omega.

Evelyn pushed the alpha down on the bed. "L-Let me, " She stuttered out, surprising Keiran.

The girl pulled down her robe, exposing her round breasts. Her fingers slowly traced the alpha's abs before it stopped over the towel covering him.

Evelyn pulled on the hem of the cloth and it slid down revealing her mate's impressive length.

She blushed after seeing that it was already half hard. Her fingers ran over it softly, causing Keiran to let out a hiss.

"It's so big," She mumbled.

The omega blushed and gasped when she realized she said that out loud.

Keiran couldn't help but smirk. "Yeah, and it's all yours, " He winked at the girl who hit his chest.

Evelyn felt herself get dripping wet between her legs. She moved the robe from her lower half and gave the alpha a full view of her cl*t.

Keiran bit his lips. "You're playing with fire, " He whispered, causing a teasing smile to form on his mate's lips.

"Am I? " The omega whispered as she crawled closer to his face. She took the alpha's length in her hand and slowly rubbed it a few times.

Keiran gripped the girl's hips while a groan slipped past his lips.

"How deep would this go when it's inside me? " Evelyn tilted her head innocently.




The alpha's eyes widened.
