Chapter 37. The great faces of all time.

I was waiting in the den, with everyone, the first batch and the second batch, the ones who loved me and the other who hated me. But I ams ure that right now both if them are just hoping for good for me. The ones who love me because I am like there sister. And the other ones who hate me, is because one of there friend will be left, from being hostage, when I go there.
Well, who cares for reason? What matters is right now all of them are hoping and wishing the best for me. And I was really thankful for them, according to me, I havee made sure that none of the associates will butt on me and my work, because I don't want deaths at my name, and they thankfully agreed upon.
"Always be alert!" Lex said, sitting from the side table drinking from the bottle suddenly passing his tips like a teacher does to his or her student so that he wins. Making me chuckle.
When I think about my feelings in the midst of all this choas in my life, a place where I am, where majority love and care about me, but yet I can't trust anyone. I find myself looking so pathetic. But that's not the reason at all. What really drives me mad is that, I want to believe in them. So badly.
I really am into them as a family, if they feel me as one or not? I don't know and it doesn't matter. My heart have accepted them all as my brother!
"If you are worried about her, tell her straight like that, instead of hiding behind words," The top dog from the favorable group taunted to Lex. Making him look up from how drink and pass this dead glare, that derived how mad he was right now. "I don't care about her! And I am not worried! I am nit a weak pathetic man, who shrinks in the presence of woman." He said and abruptly stood. But, I noticed something, looking around at everyone's face, I realised that everyone noticed. That he didn't mean it.
" You hate me! I know that! But some times you even care about your enemies. And that's completely fine! "I butt in. Because they are nuts and won't hesitate to do anything with each other." Well, share that thoughts with someone else," He joked, and threw the bottle of his beer. And walked out.
"Ignore him," Everyone telling me out of blue, when I agreed, "Hey guys!" Mileva and Delvin walked inside, Delvin waving at me, "Yeah right! I heard about you guys! What's going on?" One of the man said bring up last NIGHT, "It means nothing guys, please don't have random shitty thoughts!" I starting to clear up, "She is just shy! We are dating!" Delvin speaking something else, my eyes at him. Oh! Am I supposed to be acting with them too? Well it does make matter, what if someone is traitor here?
Anyways!
We were just waiting and chit chatting. Occasionally laughing! And being sad, thinking about funny incidents or being sad about assuming the bad future. It was so fun, they were like a family to me now.
Really, who had knowns things have been like this?

We were just sitting around when some soldiers walked inside, "Let's go," They yelling loudly for me, when i stood up from the ground. "I will be right behind!" Delvin mumbling right beside me, I nodding to him. He smiling and trying to give me power. "She won't in your transportation!" Suddenly for me and Delvin's surprise, Mileva loudly yelled.
Why? Why would she take me? For safety? Or loyalty? I know it's wrong for me to doubt on her. But as said before I can't trust them. "No she won't. It's the order from Capo. She is going in the car!" They instantly denying
"Are you all defying your Capa?" She started her position threaten. "Capa! We have been asked to follow the Capo's order" They apologising. "Delvin will drive her," She suddenly brought up all plan she had in her mind for all the time. "Capa! Its dangerous for some other upper class to ride outside," They crying and refusing to follow Capa's order, but the door open, and the second Capo walked inside. "Do as she says!" He silencing everyone at once. Everyone already agreeing now.
But Mileva just rolled her eyes at him and walked towards me, "Why go seperate? When you are going the same way? Go with Delvin safe and sound,"
"Why did he agree? Won't the first capo be more mad? If he find this?" I asked the obvious question. "He will be, but you see the man there, he won't like it if his brother will lay hands on me." She was talking about Emerson Capo.
"Are you okay?" I asked her, confused when she gave a pry smile and nodded, "Something happened last night. I'll tell you things everyone later," She smiled at me again, and something feels off, something makes me rething my decisions.
"Actually no! I'll go in there car," I told them, shock to literally everyone, "What?" They raising here brow in surprise, "Yeah, I think. I should go with everyone else."
"No you should go with Delvin," The whole den disagreeing with my thoughts. "They won't kill me!" I bringing up something I am not sure of either. "They will!" Everyone yelling.
"They won't. The farthest extent they can go is kidnap me once again. My dead is not accepting! I still have what they want? I'll be safe," I told them all assuring but they didn't get it, and neither tried to. But before the conversation can go on. I walked towards the soldiers." Let's go," Telling them and started to walk. Ahead.
Am I thinking too much? If I believe that Delvin and Mileva weren't honest with me?I kept walking and thinking, someone ahead of me, Romeo.
"You leaving?" He asked me, I halting right ahead of him, what happened last night with Delvin is still a mystery that's yet to be revealed but after a long time so many faces turned into revealing the real ones. It's fun and hurts to see them. "I am leaving," I replied him. I didn't wanted to bring up the questions session now. Let's just hope for my life to be with me when I come back here, then I will ask all the questions I want from him.
"Good! Be strong! And fight back!" He made a vague word, but all I did was nod to him. He extending his hand away and taking mine keeping something in my hand, "This is yours and belongs to you. Take this so will remember that being alive is more important then taking revenge," He said, when I opened my hand, looking at them, it was the pendant my brother had left for me. I looked at them and couldn't believe that I forgot this here.
This is the last thing my rbotehr left for me. I took it in my hand and stared at him, tears pooling in my eyes, suddenly he hugging me. "Come alive!" He and the others everyone asked me the same thing. But only if it was in my hand!
I sighed, and nodded even though and he pulled up, "Well, I guess that asshole did a good work when he claimed you as one of the upper class and a person no one can touch in the Spanish out of their rule." He said to me, I nodding. While looking at the pendant.
"Don't miss him too dearly. He is there with you," He suddenly said, out of blue because I was starring and thinking about my brother.
Jade! Only if you would have been here. Nothing would have happened to em if you were here, you would have protected and looked after me so dearly! If you were here, maybe the day like this would have never came! You were that one person who protected me in my worse to worser situations. You did the bad things with me because you were waiting abd wishing the best somewhere. You! You! You are a jerk! To leave me and go away again! I cried and couldn't hold back but let it all out,
You Jade! You! I miss you! Why aren't you here? Right by me? Why do i have to do and be the kind of person I never was? Why can't I relive the same day where you use to protect me in the darkness. That shadow. Why? Why don't I have it with me anymore? Why? I kept crying.
I am sorry if I die before surving justice to you. I am sorry if I couldn't do anything for you because I was saving a life and giving justice to another. I am sorry Jade. I swooped the tears away, and looked up. Handing him the locket back. "Keep it with you, so I will have a reason to come back here, apart from murdering," I told him, when he took it in his hands.
And started to walk crossing him. Passing away from the starirs to the lawn area where there was a car waiting for me, with three guards. Are they going to die with me? I wondered. And I knew there might be a bomb or something else. I am sure the first Capo had some disgracing game in there head. It can't be helped.
I went towards the car and sat inside. But before I knew, a loud sound, and light with force and smoke rang behind me, throwing me all the way ahead, my visions turning blur. The darkness surrounded. From all the smoke, my ear ringing an unstoppable sound, making me unable to hear anything else, my body aching and burning down my feets, "Ahhh!" I yelled because of all the burning sensation in my leg, and before I knew, there were people running my way.
While my abnormal heart rate and breath, couldn't be smoothen, it was a bomb blast. Before the car went out, the blast occurred. Was it the wrong timming? Or was it?
I started to laugh, again and again. When the blury face of people who were approaching towards me, came on my face. "Dead or alive?" I heard the voice.
My eyes opening, when I looked at the figure.

"Ouch alive!" She said, and made a sad face, was she alone? Was Mileva involved? Was it her and Delvin's doing? Was it her and Romeo's doing!
"Wondering? Who is behind this?" She asked me, clutching my chin and smiling.
"It's not the one person, its all. All the people you imagined and question. Delvin! Mileva! Romeo! And you know what? Jake!..." And started to laugh loudly, "Wanna listen the funny part? Even the associates that are your little family! Were into this! Were equally involved! Accept Lex, the one you never trusted," Her words really didn't astounded me. I was aware that things were there. Just not with who. Anyways! It's better that the truth came out faster than expected.
" And you think we are fool? We know there is no USB with you? You had it! But you lost it. And you are using it to stay safe," She said and laughed keeping her feet on my burning hand, stepping on them, making them ache till the point I couldn't hold back my scream. I yelled out loudly when she hit me with her leg on my stomach. Again and again.
" You! Bitches...and - bastards!" I somehow managed to mutter. "Why did you Al played along then?" I asked her she coming down on her knees, "Because you were fun to toy with!" She smiled, and standing up started to leave. I looked at her bringing a bottle with blue oil, throwing it on me. From up to down and then lighting up her lighter.
