I heard a gunshot in the background while Lex sat down trying to calm me down and checking on me. Everyone silencing from the shock as soon as we heard it. I opened my eyes to see, who it was on? And why? Finding him the Capo standing with his gun ahead stretched. While his face was filled. He was right above me. As I started to stand up Lex trying to empower me from behind but I shoved him away and stood up finding the gun shot was behind in the air. But from the direction it was clear that he was going to shot David his important man.
The capo taking steps closer to me, his eyes on me, staring at me closely. But then he turned to see David, "Why? And how can you? How can you hurt something I have obligatd you to even lay a finger on? How? How can you cross the big line? Despite asking me?" He loudly screams much to my and every other person's shock
What's is wrong with this man? This is unlikely for a Capo if a mafia to do this? Now that there is no reason for me to. Be safe? What is this? Even earlier and even now? Why? What is going on?
I was just thinking and wondering, when the Capo went towards David, and kept the gun on his head. "You have been crossing your lines with all your powers. I think you need to have a step down? Don't you think?" He asked to David. Everyone frowning. Well because the capo trusted that man more then anyone right?
He told him his head turning to look at my reaction and then announcing the final result that," You are going back to being an associate, until you get back your sense." Listening to his punishment, the first thing that came in my mind was Jazz. That now she easily found an access to kill the man she have been doing all kind of things for. That marks little trouble now here. And if it turns out like that what should be done next? Don't we should just stop her now?
I turned to see Lex who was thinking the same thing probably.
My eyes ran up to the stairs to see what is going on and where is jazz and as expected that she was lingering on her bedroom's door, looking at us. And things going on with us.
I looked at the other side, when I felt Lex's hand clutch. And even Jazz made a shush action from her hand, looking at me. What is going on? And what are they planning to do? I wonder looking at here and there trying to understand the situation. But from the look I found that Jazz was standing with a Knife in her hand, even Lex realised that. "Capo! Can you please leave? This is my house and I don't want to have trouble in my house." Lex start dyo make an excuse so he can stop what's bound to happen. Jazz understanding the initiative. But she didn't stop.And came out of her bedroom to have a hit on us. I just was not getting what was going on?
"Capo leave with you men!" Once again Lex ordered the mafia boss Capo. And he did considered it instead of getting mad. He turned to look at me once again and then start to leave already. I was just so shock for a minute of what is going on? Who has more impact on who? And who the fuck is a boss here. Jazz halted in her step staring at her brother. In anger and irritation. She was mad at him for sending her target away. Well not completely away yet. I don't even understand the reason this man came till so far? Just to talk with Lex? That could have happened when Lex went to work? Right? What was the discussion was about anyways?
Is my doubts ON Lex true? Is he actually just toying with me? And using me for his own benefits? That is something strange pact going on with Lex and capo? I am just so confused.
I watched them leaving. Walking out of the door, but he stopped and turned to see me. "You can't go out in LA! There are more people aware of your face then you know. Better stay at home!" The Capo said and finally turning to walk away.
As soon as they were out and the door was closed. Jazz walked out. Furious
"Why? Why did you send them away so fast? Why didn't you let them be here?" She was very angry. As she immediately ran and kept the wife on her own brother's kneck. "You are the fucking bastard! Just because she was not your mother! You just don't care! How can you? How can you do this?" She said hitting him on his stomach again and again with her other free hand. Lex caughting both her hands. And distancing them. "Come back to your senses!"He loudly Calle dher out and snapped her." You see I had more people to protect in here then to attack. If you and she would have been hurt. What would I have done? Fighting that man men? I can either protect or attack! "He warned her sister," But why did you butt in my work?"She asked still angry at her brother.
"I don't want to either dear step sister! But I can't see you die and mad Jack with it. If you both are desperate to meet your death? Go ahead! Please!" He was angry yet protective of his family. He turned to see me and looked at me from up to down. "You okay right? Let's go and see a doctor?" He asked, I shaking my head. "I am doing fine! You don't have to worry about it." I assured him. When his attention went back to Jazz.
"Jessica! You are not a kid anymore! Stop acting like one! I met Jack today. He is not pleased with the fact that you are stilled involved in things like this." He told her what happened earlier. But jazz's look changed immediately. "You met Jack? How is he? Where is he? What is he doing? How are things?" She started to inquire about things and questions about her brother. "He is doing good from his posture and attitude." Lex said walking inside and opening the drawer, removing a box from there. And started to come to my way. Helping me walk inside and sit down.
"Is he studying?" She asked worrying about her little brother. When she shakes her head. And sit down on the floor. Clutching her hand tightly and yelling loudly. "Ahhh!" She seriously yelled very loudly. "I am just so sick!" She kept yelling loudly. And stood up thumping her steps up. And I sat don't with the help of Lex.
"She?" I asked him when he just shaked her head. "Let her be? She is just out of my grip." He said and just looked the other way towards her.
"Eat! Before you go to sleep!" Loudly called out but she didn't care.
I was just staring at her leaving. "Don't worry!" He again said and started to do some antiseptic on me. "Your rip looks bruised. Are you sure that you don't ant to see the doctor? I think you should?" He asked taking care of me when I just said no from my head.
"What did Capo wanted to talk about?" I suddenly came with the question that I was wondering about while he was applying cream and giving me medicines. "Nothing, just. Something work related." He gave an excuse and not a fixed answer, "Is the Capo intimidated by you? Why did he came to aks for work related thing? And not called for you?" I kept the interrogation going, but the man started to laugh. "The boss intermidated by me? What a joke! Gir!" He shrugged the question away with his laughter. "I am so sorry! Doll! I didn't knew how can I protect you when i wass just so scared to butt in myself! You know THAT David is favorite man if Capo. I didn't wanted to come in bad side of the person." Suddenly Aro giving me explaination.
"It's okay! Aro! I know that you must be feeling down!" I was mad at him when iw as getting beaten up but I don't get the reason to be anymore. I can feel that he must have been very badly scared. But he is a soldier! How can he just back off!
Enough! Quill! You try to understand people you don't lure them in problems. I told myself because I need to get to the point of view of people.
"Well not that we are at here! Let's shrug the topic! How come you both entered with your hand intertwined?" I listened to question and a smirk on Lex's face of enjoyment. He looked up and then the other way, "We decided that we will not tell you but since you already saw it. We are dating." Lex just said it out loud making me little curious. What the hell? When did it started? But you all just give each other tantrums and yelling? Then? Wait! Was it a love from sex to couple?" He asked his eyes sparking on the way he was so happy about us. He was walking around the house can't believe that we were couple.
"Wait a minute! How long has it been?" He asked me. "Just let's say, one day!" I clearly but hesitated said, he narrowing his eye. "A day? You just started to go out today? When did you two had stated to fee flutering feelings for each other?" He asked growing closer with his steps my way. "Let's just say to be precise. Earlier morning before leaving? When he offered me his sneakers to wear instead of going barefoot." I told him, he laughing. "A love starting from sneakers? Seems fun!" He laughed very badly. Dieing from laughter.
"Okay! OKAY!" Enough, Lex said asking him to calm down. As he looked at me, "You are okay?" He again asked when I nodded asking her to rest assure she smiled and asked me to pass down. "You are very beautiful."Why doe she keeps saying that? He said and kept his lips on my forehead, giving me a long smooch. While I just enjoyed it." Want me to put you in bed? Can you stand?" He asked me."Not early! Lex! Please I want to have some gossips going on! Can you not put that in the box?" Aro started to cry out. Lex giving up. "Fine! Dude! Fine! I am. Off to work! Do whatever you guys want! Lex was scared and laughed starting to go away. I was so tired but I didn't say anything as Aro came up on his seat and frowned at me." So? I want to know everything about you! He asked me me. And starting to interrogate me.
I laughing and did took the initiative and work to explain him all the details. I laughing when he made jokes and told him every little details as he wanted to hear. Everything like a girl.
