Damini's POV



Where did he learn to kiss like that?? How many girls he had kissed ??

The thought disturbed me and I was getting very angry all of a sudden. Just then the door opened.. and he reluctantly broke the kiss but he was holding me tightly we both were panting.

We looked towards the door. Sahil was standing in the door frame with a shocked expression. Then his expression changed.

" I am sorry, but did I interrupt anything?? " Sahil asked with a smirk.

" Yes, get out !! " Sagar said and Sahil laughed.

" No !! Please stay and tell this stupid man to leave me. " I said to Sahil.

" Get out Sahil, I need to get some answers out of her. I have waited long enough." Sagar said looking at me and smiling.

" Don't you dare to go out, I will kill you too. " I glared at Sahil and he looked amused.

God!! Are they both insane???

" Great!!! kill me if you can get out of his arms. Bhai, she is such a cute firecracker." Sahil said and started laughing, Sagar smiled devilishly.

" Are you nuts??? Sahil, You should stop your brother and you are grinning like an idiot. "

" I know my brother better than you, beautiful. So just a suggestion, you better tell him what he wants to know. If I were you, I would have told him what he is asking. " Sahil said.

" Oh god!!! I hate both of you. Fine, tell this thick-headed man to leave me. I will tell. " I said to Sahil finally as Sagar was not listening to me.

" Sagar leave her. " Sahil said to him.

" No, tell her to tell me first. "

" You will leave me right now, or I am not going to tell you. I will talk to Mathur uncle and he won't force me to work with you. " Said with one of my eye raised.

" Ok beautiful, but tell me the truth. " Sagar released me reluctantly and stepped back.

" Fine!! My parents were getting threatening calls as one of my cousins fell in love with a girl of another caste and her family and especially her brothers killed both my cousin and their sister. "

" What??? That is absolutely insane." Sagar said.

" But, why were your parents getting threats?? " Sahil asked me.

" Um... My parents had an intercaste marriage and faced many problems in their lives. Their parents disowned them, so much so, even their siblings cut all their ties with them. But my parents stuck together. But recently when my cousin got killed, they all blamed my parents that they set an example for their younger generation. "

" That is absurd... " Sagar said.

" I know, but those people threatened my dad that he would have to pay for that. They said as he lost his son my parents would lose their only daughter. My parents got paranoid as they didn't want me to get hurt."

" That is obvious but why didn't he complain about them? I mean, I remember, he was quite influential. "

" I guess, he didn't want to lose me. He was scared for me after that brutal death in the name of honour killing. '

" So, they sent you to the USA? " Sahil asked and I nodded.

" But you could have told me that you were going. Didn't you think of me?? Did you realise that I deserved to know?"

" No, I don't think so. You don't deserve to kno..." I glared at him and was about to say something when Samar walked in.

" Hey, everyone I am just too hungry... Did you all have lunch? "

" No... I am still full. "

" Don't be stupid, you need to eat. Dad would kill me that I am not taking care of his favourite girl in the world. "

" Samar, No please... "

" I am not listening, I am ordering food," he said and I nodded.

" Don't bother to order for me..." Sagar said looking at me.

What was his problem he was hungry?? He wanted to have lunch just sometime back.

" Why?? What happened?? " Samar asked. Though I wanted to ask that too.

" I am going to Delhi right now. But, I hope you will not miss me. Have a happy lunch. "

" Wait, Sagar. Have lunch before you go, it is already lunchtime. " Samar said to him. I wanted him to stay for lunch.

But why?? I hate the way he looks at me...

" Somehow, I lost my appetite," Sagar said looking at me. Why did he do that??

" No, I will not let you go without having food... Wait for some time."

" Samar, please I am not hungry... "

" Still have food. It is not healthy as it will take you at least 4 hours to reach Delhi. " Samar ordered food for all of us.

" I have completed all the legal formalities at court. We have to hire some people, when shall we call them for an interview?"

" Call them in a few days, I am going to Delhi with him. " Sahil said.

" What ?? Why? Dad called me ." Sagar looked surprised.

" I have to go with you and you know that... " Sahil looked at him with one of his eyebrow raised. Sagar was not convinced but he did not argue.

" Is everything alright?? " Samar asked them with concern.

" Oh yes... Don't worry I have some work too." Sahil said.

" By when you will be back?? " Samar asked them and I looked at Sagar. Thank God, he was going, nobody would bother me now.

Whom are you kidding with Damini?? Are you seriously happy that he is going? You can't lie to me.. the moment he said that he was going to Delhi, you felt disappointed. You can deny all you want but your heart says something else. You enjoyed the proximity between two of you, you loved the way he kissed you.

Shut up!!!

" Will be back in two days. " Sahil said.

The food was delivered and we all had our lunch. Samar was the only one who was speaking and Sahil was answering him monosyllabic answers.

" Have a safe journey. " Samar said to them. I wanted to say that too, but could not utter a word.

He just looked at me once and went out. Somehow, I felt as if I was missing him already.



Sagar's POV



" What was that Sahil??? Why are you coming with me? " I asked him.

" You know why? "

" Don't irritate me Sahil or I will punch you now. Stay here, I want you here to keep that Samar away from her. "

" I am going with you. She can take care of herself and Samar is very sweet, you know that. "

" Sweet my foot... "

" You are just being jealous. "

" Of course, I am. So?? Stay here... "

" No, I will go with you. You are my twin. We are connected you see." Sahil said with a grin.

" I want to kill you. " I was irritated

" I want to kiss you. " He said to irritate me even more and came closer to me.

" Ewwww... No, go and kiss some girlfriend of yours. " I pushed him and said with a grin.

" Eww??? Did you say that after kissing Damini?? You kissed her again today?? "

" Hmmm." I smiled at that.

" Do you think, she was speaking the truth? " Sahil asked.

" I think so... But she could have told me before going. " I said and he nodded.

We reached home, mom and dad were waiting for us.

Mom hugged us tightly. We all had dinner and I went to sleep.

I got a call from Mehul inviting me for the inauguration of his jewellery showroom the next day... I was very excited to go and meet my friends.

I wanted to tell all of them that I finally found my long lost love and wanted to thank Megha for her wishes.
