Sagar's POV



All my friends were so happy to see her but didn't ask or say much as they didn't want to make her uncomfortable. She smiled at Rahul, Mehul and Vikram. Vikram hugged her too. She looked at me and raised one of her eyebrows.

I was losing my patience. I went to them and drew her out of his arms and glared at him. He just laughed along with all my friends.

Damini congratulated Gautam and Maurvi and hugged Maurvi. Maurvi thanked her for accepting her invitation.

I introduced her to Priya, Megha and Sandhya as well. Damini smiled at all them but was angry with me. She even told them about the school days of their husbands. She was comfortable around them.

But I was not... I was behaving like a watchdog... Keeping eye on her and every guy around. Just the way my other friends were...

" Hey, Sagar... What is the scene? I mean she is here with you but not talking to you. " Mehul asked.

" Well, we just argued while we were coming here. Sahil told her that I am not supposed to drive... I was driving today so... But we together now. " I said and they all congratulated me. I was smiling like a fool.

" She seems to be very comfortable around our wives... But why is Sandhya glaring at me now? " Vikram asked.

"How do I know?? Maybe because you hugged her. You were laughing at me. Now enjoy the wrath of your wife. Get ready to sleep on the couch. " I said with a smile.

" C'mon Sagar, it was just a friendly hug. She was our classmate. "

proceeded for saat phera, but before that, the Maurvi's father performed kanyadan ceremony.

They were married now. Gautam held her hand and both took blessings of their elders. Once all the rituals were performed, it was time for them to leave.

We all came back to his bungalow. And a few rituals and traditions were followed.

He was walking towards his room and we all were walking with him still teasing him.

" Friends thanks a lot for coming to my wedding. I loved it that you could make it. Now you all may leave... " He said to us. But we kept on laughing.

" Aww don't try and act smart Gautam... We are not going anywhere... Tomorrow morning you are going to come with us to show us this beautiful city. " Vikram said.

" Are you crazy?? I am not going to do any such thing. Don't you dare to disturb us? Or I will beat you. " He said and we all laughed.

" We will see in the morning. Waise we are not feeling sleepy, why don't we all just talk? Megha please go and get Maurvi. We will play truth or dare. Gautam, you can sleep if you want. " Mehul said.

" Go and play whatever you want with your wife, leave my wife alone," Gautam said and everyone smirked.

Ultimately we left him alone and he went to his room. After making a plan for the next day to meet and annoy Gautam, I left with Damini. It seemed that she enjoyed the wedding a lot.

But l just wanted to see, how she would behave when their teasings would be directed to us.

We came out of the hotel and she drove me to Guesthouse.

" What??? Do you expect me to get down here and let you go alone at this hour? What do you think of me??"

" But you are not supposed to drive Sagar.. "

" Listen you have just two choices, one is that I drive you to Mr Mathur''s place and come driving alone or you stay here at the guest house tonight. Because under no condition, I will let you drive alone. "

" Sagar... I will be fine. "

" Yes of course... you will be fine driving alone at this time of night. and I would die if I drive here alone.."

I was angry now.

She opened the door of her room and I also went inside with her.

" Listen, love, I know you love me a lot and scared about my safety. But rest assured, nothing will happen to me or us. We will always be happy. I can't live without you, so I rather have a short happy life with you than have a longer one without you. "

" I love you. " She said and her eyes started flowing. I took her in my arms and she buried her face in the crook of my neck. I tighten my arms around her. Leaned my head against hers and patted at her back.
