Sagar's POV



I was going to Delhi. I had cooled down by now. Maybe I overreacted a bit. Samar did not seem to be interested in Damini. He was just dancing on that song enjoying holi song to the fullest. What would they think about me?

I need to distract myself from the embarrassing moments, I created there. I took out my phone and started browsing.

I called Sahil again. This time he picked up the phone on the tenth ring.

" What's up Sahil?? Why the hell you were not picking up the phone??? I was so worried about you?? " I shouted at him as soon as he picked up the call.

" I am fine... "

" You don't sound fine... What happened?? " I asked.

" Nothing... "

" Are you hiding something? "

" No... "

" Then why did you both left mom alone at home? What was so important? "

" Something came up dad was already in Jodhpur, when I came back and he wanted you to come but as you stayed there... I went to help him."

" What is the matter? " I asked and there was a silence for a few seconds before he spoke.

" I am trying to get to know it...where are you?? " He asked as he heard the horn of the car.

" I am coming back to Delhi?? "

" You are not driving... are you? "

" No, I am in the cab. "

" You are going as mom was alone at home ?"

" Yes.... "

" Did you got your answers??? " he asked me.

" Yes.... "

" And??? "

" Samar doesn't want to get married to her. "

" Well that's good... and Damini?? " he asked.

" She asked me why did you panic so much when I was driving that day?"

" She asked me too, but I did not answer and came out of there. " Sahil said.

" She was really after me asking questions like a cop. " I smiled.

" And what did you say? "

" I tried to lie but she didn't buy it. She asked then why were you so furious? She said that you were so furious that you even threatened her that if anything happens to me, she will regret it." I said.

" I was angry and worried about you.. so what did you say?"

" I finally told her about my accident.. and she burst into tears in less than 30 seconds. She was concerned about me. She was worried about me. "

" Good... Did she tell you why she says that she hates you.? "

" I think the credit goes to you. You idiot !!! "

" What??? What did I do?? " He asked and I told him everything. He was quite for the whole time.

" Hmm ok... But why was your phone switched off? Don't you know that you were supposed to call me after you reached home? I called mom and she told me that you both were in Jodhpur. "

" I forgot my charger and power bank there.. at guesthouse. "

" Listen, somehow I feel you are hiding something. Are you??"

" Why are you both there all of a sudden? Dad gets so paranoid about leaving mom alone at home and you both left her alone... Could have waited for me to come at least one of us could have stayed with her. You really should have told me as it is I was supposed to go to Jodhpur in 2-3 days... I could have gone earlier. "

" Listen Sagar dad is calling me will call you later. Ok? "

" Take care, call me if you need any help. "

" Hmm ok.. " he said and disconnected the phone.

He seemed upset. Was he feeling guilty because I told him what happened??

I know that I suffered because of that incident. But, he didn't do anything intentionally. Anyways Damini had already refused my proposal a few days back (10 years back). It was not as if she would have accepted my proposal if she had not seen Sahil there and thought he was me.

I reached home... my mom was excited to see me.. she hugged me hard and applied some colour on my face. I also did the same.

" I was a bit sad as none of you was here. I cooked food but didn't want to eat, let's have food now. " Mom said touching my face. I smiled and we had food together.

Dad and Sahil were still in Jodhpur. I asked what was happening but both dad and Sahil were not saying anything. What was going on??

I had to go to Jodhpur too for Vikram's wedding, so I took mom with me there too. Sahil was not staying with dad... I wanted to meet him but he wanted to be alone. My dad and Sahil both were tensed and both of them were not saying anything. Ultimately I got to know that my dad wanted him to meet some girl... But he was not interested. Sahil was not interested in meeting a girl??? Sahil was avoiding talking to me... But why??? I tried talking to him but Sahil didn't want to talk to anyone. He said he wanted to be alone for some time.

I thought that I should give him some time and went to the wedding.

I reached Vikram's haveli. It was already so beautiful and huge... Looked even more magnificent now with the declarations.

The butler leads me to where my friends were. I saw them they all were teasing Gautam... But we were here for Vikram's wedding. I went towards them, they all were laughing. Just then Gautam saw me.

He ran towards me and hugged me. Everyone came rushing and hugged me.

" Thank God you have come... Haven't seen you for so long." Gautam said.

" Vikram is getting married, I had to come. Missed you guys so much. "

" Why were you away for so many days. What are you doing these days?" Rahul asked.

" I was in Chandigarh... As you all know Sahil and I started a new construction company with his friend Samar. So I was working there... " I smiled faintly.

" Sagar how about her?? You said you found her... Where is she? " Mehul asked

" Let's not talk about it. We all are here after such a long time. Let's enjoy this time... I am so happy for you Vikram, so when do I get to meet Sandhya? "

" Very soon, but you can meet someone right now. You know our Gautam is getting married in 3 months?? They had an instant Roka ceremony day before yesterday and yesterday he slid a ring in her hand and had a private engagement. "

He said and all of us burst out laughing.

" So can I meet her? " I asked him.

" Of course, she would love to meet you," Gautam said.

" Arre Sagar she is an amazing girl. I am still amazed at how did he get so lucky to have her in his life." Rahul said.

" Ok, can I meet her now? " he said and I nodded.

Gautam called her on phone and told her to come where all of us were.
