Sagar's POV



I came out of the office. Got into my car and started driving. I didn't even know where was I going.

I couldn't take it any more. I was going crazy with the thought of her being with anyone. She looks very comfortable with Samar.

Why?? Why was she comfortable with him but not with me?

If she would be so comfortable with him, she might give her consent for her marriage with Samar. He was also very comfortable with her. It seemed that he likes her too.

I asked her if she liked him and she said that what if she did???

What would I do, if she does?? I can't lose her. I didn't want to scare or irritate her, but I literally lost my temper. I needed to go away from her.

My phone was ringing, I saw the number it was Sahil. I didn't want to tell him, where I was. I wanted to be alone for some time, so I didn't pick up the phone, but it kept ringing and irritating me, so finally, I did.

" Hello. what ?? "

" Hello ?? Why were you not picking up the phone??"

" Because I was driving. "

" What?? Are you insane?? "

" Yes, I am. I am going crazy. So, I am going home for the time being."

" No, you are not... "

" I can't take it anymore. "

" I can't let you go like this."

" I am going to Delhi and you can't stop me. "

" Don't even think about it, Come back."

" No !! " I said and with that, I disconnected the phone call.

I was still thinking about my arguments with Damini and the phone kept ringing. I knew Sahil was worried as hell for me. I didn't want to talk to anyone, but I didn't want to give a heart attack to my brother.

So I picked it again. He spoke even before I said hello.

" Sagar, Just come back."

" Don't panic, I am fine. "

"Just stay where you are. "

" Why? I think I should go and cool down for a day or two. "

" I will not let you drive to Delhi."

" Sahil I am fine. It is ok. "

" No, it is not ok. You are not driving. Got it? Stay there. I am coming. "

" Ok, I will wait at guest house." I went there and stopped my car. I was still thinking about her, when Sahil stopped his car with a sudden break and came running towards me, pulled me out and punched me hard.

" Sahil!!" I said and he punched me again.

" Shut up! Don't talk to me. How dare you?? Have you lost your mind?? Are you hell-bent to give grief to your family? Is she so important to you that you don't care for others? What would have I done If anything had happened to you? Mom would have died of depression. "

" Sorry, but you are overreacting."

" I am overreacting?? No. You idiot, you are taking things lightly. "

" Oh, come on, It is not the first time I am driving."

" Yes, but then you were not angry or depressed. Enough of this nonsense, Sagar. Come back to Delhi with me. You don't need to get involved in this business. "

" Are you out of your mind??? I was going only for a day or two, not forever, I can't forget her. "

" Then behave yourself. Or I swear, I will do something you won't like. You can't risk your life like that. I would have killed you with my own hands this time. "

" Ok, sorry calm down... I got angry and reacted in this way. "

" You are not driving now. Not till everything is settled. "

" Ok, dad. " I smiled at him to make him smile but he was too angry for that.

" What happened today?? " He asked and I told him...

" Fine! Let me talk to Samar. I don't think he is flirting with her. It is your over possessiveness. I think they are just friends. Calm down. "

" You think so?? "

" I know so. Who would know more about flirting than me? " He said with a wink.

" But what if... "

" Try to concentrate on your work. She avoids you like plague. Let it not affect you. May be she doesn't feel anything for you. Just let her have her space. "

" She reacted to me as a burning matchstick reacts to fuel when I kissed her. She wants me as well, I don't know why she is so stubborn. "

" Ok, give her some time... "

" I don't like it when she is friendly with others but not me. "

But you are stuck on this girl for more than 10 years. Why are so possessive about her?? I have never been possessive about anyone. I can't even count the girls, who claimed to be my girlfriend. " You haven't fallen in love Bhai. You will be possessive about your love when you find her. "

" Tough luck bro, I will not. Ok, now behave as if nothing happened and be cool about it. She will tease you more if you get teased easily. " He said and I nodded.

" I think, she cares for you," Sahil said

" What do you mean? "

" When I was trying to call you and talking to you, she got really worried and concerned about you. So take things lightly or forget about her. " I smiled.

Sahil went back to the office while I stayed at the guest house to calm down and think about how to handle the matter.

Sahil had been furious with me. He was scared for me.

I had a very major accident years ago, as I was depressed that she left without saying anything to me and I couldn't find her. I was driving thinking about her and I was so lost that I didn't see a truck coming towards me and had a head-on collision with it.

My car was smashed and it was so severe that it was a miracle that I survived. I slipped into coma. I was in a coma for more than 6 months and it took me another 6 months to recover. I got to know that I was taking her name just before slipping in a coma.

Almost one year of my life was wasted. So my family is a bit strict that I should not drive.

It was still ok earlier, but I know Sahil will not let me drive till this whole matter settle down.

Damini's POV

What was wrong with Sagar?? Why was Sahil behaving like that?? Did anything happen to Sagar?? Sahil said if anything happens to him because of me this time, he won't spare me... Did anything happen to him because of me?? No, It is not possible. I left as I didn't want him to suffer.

Sahil was too furious to answer my questions. I can't ask Sagar. He has gone to Delhi. Samar??? I can ask from him maybe he knows...

I waited for Samar to come.

Samar came and I went to his cabin as I wanted to ask him but just then Sahil came back. He also came to Samar's cabin and when he saw me there too. He looked angry...

" Hey, Sahil..... I have done all the arrangements. Where is Sagar?? " Samar asked the question even I wanted to.

" He is not feeling well, at the moment. "

" What happened to him?" Samar asked. Sahil looked at me with a weird look and said, " Nothing... "

" Do you want me to call our family doctor?

" Oh no, he will be fine. He just needs to sleep. " Sahil said.

" Ok, if you say so, I am quite excited about the Bhoomi poojan tomorrow. We will start our construction work from tomorrow. " Samar said with enthusiasm.
