Damini's POV



" Just a minute beta, I need to use the washroom... Get aside mini... Let me go to your room. I will not scold you for keeping your room messy. " She smiled at me and pushed open the door.

I was going to die soon...

I closed my eyes... As I didn't know, how to face my mom and dad when they would see him sprawled over the couch.

" Mini what is this?? You lied to us??"

" Mom... I am sorry.. please it is not what it looks like... I can explain it. " I said with my eyes still closed, I didn't want to see disappointment and disgust on her face. "

" It is not what it looks like?? Really?? Your room is absolutely clean... Even your bed looks as if it has not been slept on. Why did you say that your room was untidy?? "

What??? I opened my eyes and looked at the couch.. he was not there... Sagar was not there... Thank God... I love you, God... Thank you... Thank you... Thank you.

Mom came back to my room after a few minutes. She caressed my face with love and said, " I am so happy for you... Samar seems to be a very nice man. You will be very happy with him. "

" M..mom I n..need to tell you some..."

" Not now, beta... We will talk later on please, we need to go now... get ready fast and come there."

" But... mom it is.. "

" Later on, or your dad would get annoyed... He doesn't want to keep Aniruddh waiting. " mom said and got out of my room.

No... I have to stop them... They will talk about our marriage. I need to talk to Sagar and Samar.

Sagar's POV



I felt that my body was shaking too much. Oh god!!! We were having an Earthquake... I opened my eyes all of a sudden and saw Sahil standing right in front of me. I was about to say something when Sahil put his hand on my mouth to stop me from saying anything.

I was confused, I was on Damini's room last night, but now Sahil was here. I looked around, it was Damini's room. Where was she?

Sahil told me to keep quiet and pulled me towards the balcony. I was still not fully awake. But I heard voices outside one of them was Samar and some other man and Damini and another woman. What was going on??

We went to our room and I asked Sahil, " What the hell is going on? "

" Damini's parents were standing outside her room while you were sleeping comfortably on her couch. " He said.

" What??? Really ?? Oh god !! "

" Yes, she was so tensed... She just couldn't react for a few minutes... Her parents were standing there and she couldn't even invite them inside. "

" Oh shit !! She is going to kill me soon. How did you get to know?"

" Samar called up that her parents are coming today and he is coming to pick up Damini. But as I was in balcony ay that time, I saw an old couple coming in a car and the lady looked like Damini. I also remember her coming to our school years ago. "

" Oh ok ... "

" I saw that she was so tensed... So I told Samar to come fast and distract them. Her mom was about to open the door when Samar came. I woke you up and you know the rest. "

" Oh Thank God or she would have killed me."

" Yeah definitely... Imagine what would have happened if her mom had seen you sleeping in her room? "

Damini's POV



I knocked at their door. Sahil opened the door.

" Where is he?? " I asked.

" Inside... Come. " He got aside and I went inside. I saw Sagar smiling awkwardly. He looked embarrassed.

" Do you even know what happened?" I asked him.

" Yeah... Sahil just told me. I am sorry yaar. Please don't be mad at me. "

" I was so tensed to see them, almost had a heart attack... "

" Sorry ... ' he said and made a puppy face.

" Let it be now... Listen... My parents and Mathur uncle are going to discuss the engagement and wedding. "

" No... Let's meet them. " Sagar got up and caught my hand and started walking.

" No Sagar... Not like this... We need a proper way to tell them. "

" Yeah, she is right. " Sahil said.

" But by then, they will set a date for engagement. " Sagar said.

" Sagar I have to go to Samar's place.. my parents are waiting for me there. I will come to office by lunchtime. "

I reached there and everyone was so happy. Dad and uncle were laughing like anything. Mom was smiling and Samar looked a bit tensed. He smiled faintly at me.

" Oh see Damini has also come... " Uncle said and I smiled.

We all were having the breakfast Samar and I were tensed by now.

They started talking about our wedding and engagement. I chocked on my food.

Samar got up from his chair and came to me with a glass of water. I drank the water. The breakfast was over, every one moved to the living room.

" Uncle, aunty and dad... We need to tell you something... " Samar held my hand and said to our parents.

" Yes beta go ahead, you both want to set the date as early as possible? " My mom teased him and dad and uncle burst out laughing.

" Mom ... Please.. listen to him please. "

" Ok.. ok... Say whatever you want to say. " She smiled.

" I was saying that Damini and I don't want to get married to each other. "

" WHAT??? " All three of them said in unison.

" Yes... We are just very good friends... That's it. We don't want to marry. "

" Stop this nonsense... " Uncle said scolding him.

" Uncle... I am sorry but Samar is right... We don't want to spend our life together as husband and wife. "

" Damini?? Are you in your senses? " Dad raised his voice.
