Damini's POV



It was my picture in that white dress, that I wore on Bhoomi poojan. He had many pictures of mine. I smiled at him.

" You sent this to your mom?? "

" Hmmm I wanted to show her the girl, I want to marry. " I blushed again and he chuckled to see my red cheeks.

" So I was looking at you only. Sweetheart. I didn't even realise that my stupid secretary was trying to gain my attention. " He held my hand and kissed it.

" When and how did you click these??" I asked him.

" On Bhoomi poojan day silly... " He said with a smile.

" You know what I mean... You should not have done that. I could have filed a complaint about it. "

" Do that, If you want. but I have a confession to make ... " He said brushing the back of his neck.

" What ?? " I looked at him.

" I have more pictures of you that I clicked years ago.." he said in a low voice.

" What ?? Seriously?? That is not right Sagar... You can't click pictures of a girl without her consent. "

" I know. I am sorry.. please forgive me... " he made a face like an innocent child.

" Ok fine ... Don't do it again. " I said and his face lit up.

" Never... Now I will click our pictures together. " He clicked a selfie of us together.

" Show those pictures to me... "

" They are in my room. I will show you later. Listen, love, I missed you yesterday. I want to get married as soon as possible. " I blushed the way he said that.

" Well, for now, you have to go to Gautam's wedding. " I changed the topic.

"Hmmm .. but be ready... Tomorrow in the evening... I will come to pick you. " he said looking at me lovingly and I just nodded and blushed.

" Don't blush like this... Naughty thoughts start coming into my mind."

" You are so bad. I hate you. "

" Fine ... I hate you too. " He said and kissed me again.

" This is an office ... " I pushed him and glared.

" I know... " He was about to say something when his phone buzzed. He saw the screen, closed his eyes and shook his head.

" Hello... Yeah, I am coming... Ok, ok I am coming.. bye. " He ended the call

" It was Vikram... Gautam is getting angry now... I must rush or you will not be able to recognise me tomorrow.. " he said with a smile.

" What?? Why?? " now what did that mean??

" Gautam was a boxing champion.. don't you remember, he had beaten those seniors outside our school? " I nodded at that.

" Go then bye. " I said and he ran away.

Sagar's POV



I was still smiling, my Damini was being possessive about me. I wanted to get married as soon as possible.

I reached the bungalow which Gautam's family had hired for the wedding. I greeted his parents and they were very happy to see me. His younger brother Sid saw me just took me to his room.

All my friends were there. They glared at me.

" Wow!! Here comes Mr Too busy to attend his friend's wedding. " Said Gautam.

" Don't say that ... I was stuck somewhere... Samar and Sahil are in Delhi. So I had to go to the office. "

" There was no need to come at all. " Gautam said again.

" Sorry yaar.. "

" What yaar... We came from Delhi yesterday and you are coming today while you were here only. " Vikram teased me.

" Now I am here... So let it be. "

Everyone was teasing Gautam as he was happy that he would be able to see Maurvi today as they were going to have a common function for Mehandi and Sangeet.

We all went for sangeet and Mehandi. Gautam was excited to see her. The Mehandi function was going on inside but men were not allowed inside. We were allowed only for the sangeet.

All his dreams were crushed down when Maurvi's dad took him aside and made him sit with his relatives.

All my friends were there with their wives enjoying holding their hands, finding their names in their hands and feeding them with their own hands as the girls had Mehandi on hands.

I wish Damini was also here with me, I wanted to see my name written in her hands. But anyway it was about to happen soon. We all were clicking pictures together. All of us went to Maurvi and clicked pictures with her. Vikram even hugged her and clicked the photos. He sent them to Gautam and Gautam glared him silently threatening to kill him. I also went and hugged her and got a glare from our cute and handsome doctor.

Then my friends performed a dance skit on their love story... It was funny, romantic, naughty... Literally very hilarious..... We all laughed and Gautam was laughing like anything and Maurvi could not even look upwards. She would have hidden behind something if she could but that was not possible. She was adorable.

I was missing my Damini, I wish she had come today also.

Just then I saw some commotion, Maurvi's friends and cousins were serving food to Gautam and insisted on eating. Gautam looked as if he was going to burst anytime soon. My friends were laughing like lunatics. He kept saying no but someone or the other would put a spoonful in his mouth.

Ultimately he covered his mouth with his hand and shook his head and then acted as if he was about to get sick. Then only they left him alone. It was so hilarious.

We all came back to his bungalow. I wanted to go back to see her. But I stayed with him.

Next day when all the rituals were over and everyone went to get ready I went to get ready and pick Damini.

I called her that I was coming to pick her up and got ready. I was very excited to see her so I reached Mr Mathur's place.

Mr Shrivastav came out and I greeted him by touching his feet. He smiled and patted at my back. He was asking me about the work and other things.

I was waiting for Damini to come and she came in a few minutes. Oh god...she looked so beautiful... Just like an angel... My heartbeat increased and my eyes were fixed on her. I stood up from the couch and kept looking at her...

I heard the sound of someone coughing made me come out of my thoughts. I was embarrassed a bit that I was staring at her in presence of her parents. They were smiling knowingly. I greeted her mom and she smiled lovingly at me.

" Shall we go... Or we will be late. " I asked her.

" Yes... " She said softly and we came out after I took her dad's permission once again.

" Are You trying to kill me?? " I asked once we were alone.

" What ?? Why are you saying that? "

" You are looking very pretty today.." I winked at her.

" Sagar... You are too much. "

" No... But now I know what Gautam meant to say that day."

" What do you know? What was he saying? " She was a bit confused.

" That he has to marry Maurvi soon. otherwise, he would have to stop being a doctor and become her bodyguard permanently. " I said and she smiled.

" You all are alike. " She said and shook her head.

" No... just stay by me... " I said holding her hand.

" You are crazy.. "

" I am ... But you stay near me. Thank God all my friends are married now..." I said and she smiled.

" Vikram was very handsome and so was every other friend of yours. They all are married? Bad luck..." She said with a smirk.
