Chapter 23 Austin Apologized in Public!
'Anything else?" Monica sounded cold, which was obvious that she wanted to send her off.
Anne was embarrassed and then changed the subject abruptly, 'When I got to know the conflict between you and Austin, I was concerned that our family would be in trouble. Maybe some words I said was inappropriate. I hope you won't mind. If you are angry with me, you can hit me."
Anne sounded innocent, as if she was being bullied.
Monica had never had good impression on those who liked to play innocent, so she sneered coldly, 'Since you know you said something wrong, you should make amendment, rather than coming to pretend to apologize."
She closed the door immediately after she finished her sentence with a loud sound.
Anne felt it was a slap on her face, unbearably painful.

She thought she came to apologize, then she could blame her like that?

She stamped her foot with force in anger and turned back to leave with things in her hands.
At the same time Monica had already opened the notebook in good mood after she closed the door. Upon entering into the secret platform, she decided to do the task today.
The task requested her to hack into the system of a network company to find out the loose ends in their accounting book.
It was the most common and simple task she did among many hackers' tasks.
She did them for many years, no matter that they were big or small tasks. Some were just small enterprises; some were as big as hacking into CIA system. But her bottom line was not to violate the law.
Three hours passed quickly and it was about midnight. She found the weakest spot on the opponent system and implanted the monitor code in order to check their accounting items. Afterwards, she switched off the notebook and went to bed.
Suddenly, she got an anonymous message on her mobile phone, 'Kale is still alive."
Her heart missed a beat as soon as she saw the name. she replied after she calmed down, 'Where is he?"
The other end replied in a few words, 'Worlingen in Germany."
'It's good that he is still alive. I will visit him."
She thought her partner was dead in the last task. But he was still alive, out of her expectation! It was uneasy for Monica to hold back her emotion, even though she was always cool.
'It's not possible at the moment, as some people are watching. We will take care of him. You should leave the country in order not to be traced."
She tried to control her emotion when she read the message. It seemed that it would take a while before she could see Kale again.
But this news made her sleepless out of excitement.
Although she was tired, it was common to her. Monica woke up in the morning to jog as usual.
After breakfast, she arrived at school driven in her family car. Her coolness didn't hide her beauty, but attracted more attention instead.
Some boy couldn't help taking photo with their cellphone. Monica turned back to look at him coldly as if she had eyes at back. The boy was frightened and had to delete the photo while stammering.
Then others were also quiet. Monica strode to Class 2 quickly.
Matt was there already. His academic performance wasn't really good, but he worked hard. He was reading when Monica came in. He waved her to sit down and then said, 'Monica, yesterday Ms. Hanna came to check self-study session and you were the only who didn't present. I am sure she would be angry with you today. Be careful."
Monica didn't care about this. She didn't need to waste her own time on a boring self-study session.
But she still nodded to what he said to show she got it.
Suzie arrived too. She blinked to both of them while rushing into the classroom. They were looking at her, confused. Finally, she got her breath to say straightforwardly, 'Monica, Austin is on the way her. You should find a place to hide yourself."
Monica didn't expect that Austin was in such a poor condition after her overarm throw yesterday, and he dared to come again. She didn't move but took out a book in foreign language to read instead.
Suzie got more anxious when she saw Monica didn't take it seriously. At Oxford, Austin was famous for his narrow mind. He wouldn't let Monica go after what happened yesterday.
'Monica, Austin will for sure come to take revenge. You should go hide in the teacher's office. Come when the class starts. It's also good to avoid to meet him for the moment."
Monica felt warm to see she was really concerned about her. A crappy voice sounded behind them before she could say something.
'Suzie, you are too obsessed than the person related. You see Monica even didn't want to talk to you. Why are you still concerned about her?"
Benedict remembered still Monica rejected Max's protection. When he knew, Austin would come to take revenge, he couldn't help taking pleasure out of it.
'As arrogant as you are, you will suffer when Austin is here."
Monica looked at him coldly. When Benedict fixed on her dark eyes, he was chilled at his neck for no reason.
At that moment, Austin rushed into the classroom with several people. He looked around, searching each and everyone in the classroom with their eyes, and then stopped on Monica's face. After a short pause, he strode towards Monica sitting at the back.
Others behind him were getting ready, fisted their hands, looking at Monica viciously. Everyone was looking at the direction where Monica sat. Benedict and Calvin sitting behind were waiting for a big show to start. Even Max who was indifferent to such things were taking a look at them.
Austin came up to Monica and took a bow aggressively, spoke loudly.
'Monica, sorry for what happened yesterday. I apologize!"
For a moment, all were stunned with their mouth open. He was the school bully Austin Waterman, who had been bully around at school and looked down upon everyone except the Moore's brothers. Now he was apologizing to a girl who bit him up yesterday!
