Chapter 51 Anne, The One Being Completely Forgotten
Monica could imagine Joey's furious face while he was sending this message.
She felt guilty about it. She was too anxious and she knew she shouldn't have answered the call.
But she only wanted to confirm that Kale was safe, so that she wasn't considerate enough.
she sighed slightly at it. She was at a loss for a moment.
The phone rang again. The caller ID showed it was Sean.
Monica didn't expect Sean would call at this time and then answered. She put the phone at her ear, an energetic voice came from the other side immediately, 'Little sister! Do you have time? Winston and I will come to pick you up for dinner!"
Monica had no class in the afternoon and also didn't plan to go to evening session. She thought it over and then said, 'I have nothing. I'll wait for you at the school gate. I'm leaving now."
Sean and Winston have too many admirers. It will cause trouble for the whole building if they came.
She had a change after hang-up and left after saying goodbye to Suzie.
Suzie was fighting fiercely on the forum. When Monica waved goodbye to her, she asked her to come over to look.
Monica had a look at her computer. Those bold red letters were crowded together, which made her drizzle. 'Leave it and have a rest. I will bring dinner to you."
Suzie nodded without lifting her head, 'Okay."
Monica couldn't do anything else but ran downstairs. Actually, she really didn't care what they said about her on the forum, otherwise she could hack in to make the whole forum disappear.
But she would disdain herself to do it.
When she arrived at the gate, she saw Sean was waving to her from far distance to come to them. Reading their lips, it seemed that they asked her to hurry up. Winston was keeping some distance with him, looking at him with a bit contempt.
Monica curled up her lips and got closer to see Anne was there too, looking at her unpleasantly.
She moved to the school for two day and had no contact with both brothers so that she contacted them for dinner, but she didn't expect that the first thing came to their minds was to call Monica.
And when she saw both of them were so happy to see Monica, she was about to spit blood out of anger.
Monica saw Anne's eyes, but couldn't help laughing to herself.
She walked straightly to Sean and smiled to him intimately, 'Sean, where do we go for dinner?"
Her smile was so pretty that even Sean was stunned, 'We ... we ... where to go?"
He looked at Winston foolishly. His brain didn't function at that moment.
'Didn't you say just now to ask Monica where to go? why do you ask me?" Winston looked at him as if he was looking at a fool.
Anne couldn't help being jealous, 'Sean and Winston, I want to have spaghetti..."
But before she could finish her sentence, Monica said suddenly, 'I want to have spicy fish. I don't know if there is any around the school?
Anne replied immediately, 'No, there is none. But I know a place with good fish!" We shall call a cab to go!"
Anne didn't expect that Sean who was good her always neglected her totally.
So that she pretended she was wronged, 'okay, since Monica is new to school, we should think of her first."
'Yes, you are so considerate!" Sean smiled innocently.
Anne's smile was frozen. Originally, she wanted Sean and Winston to pay attention to her so that they could change her mind. But she didn't know the silly Sean took what she said seriously!
Winston noticed her embarrassment and then said, 'We can go next time."
'Okay..." Anne bit her lower lip and had to take it as it was.
Because it was a cab so that it would be crowded at the back seat, Anne wanted to take the passenger seat this time.
She intended to walk fast to take it, but Sean was even faster than her and opened the door, 'Monica, you get in first."
Anne's feet were frozen to the ground, and didn't know if she should walk forward or backward.
She never thought that the last one in the family who took care of her could only see Monica!
No room for her in his eyes!
'Thank you, Sean." Looking at Anne's awkward look, Monica didn't hesitate and sat directly at the passenger seat.
Later the other two brother got in too.
Anne looked at the limited space left to her; her face turned an ugly green.
'What's wrong, Anne? Hop in, we are starving." Sean urged her anxiously.
At that moment, the last affection Anne felt for him disappeared.
Even though Sean was not bad to her, he was useless to her with his intelligence!
She bit her lower lip and squeezed in involuntarily. The door hardly could be closed!
Finally, the door was closed, they were heading for the famous fish restaurant in Imperial Capital.
The restaurant was crowded. Nobody could go in without reservation.
But Winston made a call and then they took the VIP lift upstairs.
They were seated at VIP table. Monica sat near the window with the view of half Imperial Capital. What a relaxing view!
She only intended to have spicy fish, but didn't expect that Sean and Winston arranged such a luxury place/
Anne didn't imagine that both brothers took Monica here.
Their monthly pocket money was limited, so that sometimes Anne invited them occasionally before. The best place they went was just simple western food. But this time they seemed to not care how much they would spend for Monica, which made her jealous again.
After they sat down, Anne couldn't help speaking, 'Sean and Winston, do you have enough pocket money this month? Monica wanted only spicy fish. Is it necessary to come to such a luxury restaurant?"
