Chapter 57 Even Monica Was Nobody by Comparison!
Monica knew it would turn out like that. Looking at Suzie's happy face, she paused a second, 'You wait here for me for a while."
Suzie didn't understand but watching her getting over the wall with one-hand support. 5 minutes later she came over the wall back smoothly, with a hot pearl bobo tea in her hand.
Monica handed over the bobo tea to her and touched Suzie's head, 'You did a favor to me, this is for you."
'Really?" Suzie never expected that Monica would even buy bobo tea specially for her, she couldn't help tearing up, 'Monica, you even bought me bobo tea! I am so touched!"
Monica didn't think that a cup of bobo tea could make her so happy, and then thought to herself to treat her better in future, 'Drink it. It would be a disaster if Ms. Hanna found out."
Suzie nodded and both walked back to the teaching building slowly, until Suzie finished the bobo tea and then they went into the classroom.
All students were in the room already. When they saw Monica came in, they started to look at her with contempt.
Although Nadege's video went viral, as soon as Monica showed up, students in Class 2 could still remember the picture of her with Sean and Winston.
It was okay she bullied Ashley, but she even got close to several handsome boys in the Moores, which was disgusting. They even thought it would disgrace Class 2 if other people knew it!
The class monitor, Nadia Grace, was sitting at the first row. She spoke coldly to Monica, 'Monica, even if you don't care about yourself, can you make Class 2 proud with your presence? You are humiliating all of us in Class 2 by flirting with two boys at the same time. You can be so disgraceful, but we can't behave the same with you!"
All were nodding in the class. Nadia indeed spoke their minds.
Monica even didn't glance at Nadia but went to her place directly. It was Suzie who felt angry and wanted to say something for Monica. But since Monica didn't care, she stopped.
In the last row, Max seemed to not care about Monica at all, but something flashed in his eyes.
For some reason, when he was the intimate picture of her with Sean and Winston, he couldn't suppress the angry filled up in his chest so that he smashed a cup in his hand on the ground. Even now, the anger was still there, uncompressed.
Although what Nadia said wasn't pleasant for ears, it was reasonable. He thought Monica should also be more careful about her behavior. She shouldn't humiliate herself by being the gossip girl.
Seeing Monica was approaching, he spoke coldly, 'I also think you should be more careful not to be gossiped about affairs. The most important thing for a girl is her reputation. No man would like a notorious woman."
Monica never expected that Max would talk to her, even about such issues. She smiled playfully and then her face turned sullen coldly, her voice was as cold as a sharp sword that could slay throat invisibly, 'Do you think you know me? It's my freedom to do whatever I like. Mind yourself."
Max was dazed at her words. Indeed, he didn't find anything about her identity. The limited knowledge he had about her was all from the internet. But the photo was also real, wasn't it? She not only treated Ashley badly, but also had intimate relationships with some boys. These were just clear facts.
It seemed that she didn't think she was wrong, but on the contrary, she thought she was right.
When he thought of that, his face was sullen, coldly, 'Since you don't like to listen to the advice, then it's up to you."
Monica was too lazy to mind him. She took the chair over and sit down. No further conversation with him.
Max looked at her back, clenching his fists tightly.
At noon, Monica walked along the lecture hall by herself after lunch with Suzie.
There weren't many students yet. She walked to the last row carelessly and got down on the desk, with her eyes closed.
After a while, some faint noise started.
'Look, Max and Annette came to class again! They look like a couple." A girl said.
Her friend continued, 'It's enviable that Annette is Max's girlfriend. Max is famous for his indifference, but he even stayed together with Annette. It seems the rumor is true."
Monica had no interest. She pressed the middle of her eyebrows; long eyelashes were like the butterflies landing on her beautiful face. What a striking beauty!
The boy nearby was dazed and poked his friend, 'Although I know Monica was inferior to Ashely in many perspectives, I will vote for her just because of her face!"
His friend turned to Monica and couldn't help nodding, but then shook his head abruptly, 'No, I am Ashley's fan, I can't betray her!"
Then he turned his head away from Monica not to look at her, while murmuring to himself so as to brainwash himself, 'I will vote for Ashley, I will vote for Ashley..."
Max and Annette seated themselves at the third row from the back, which was Max's idea. Annette didn't dare to disobey. She happened to hear what the boys said, which made her face twisted in anger.
She was also the school beauty in senior section! Fame wise, she lost to Ashley, but now she even lost to Monica!
