Chapter FIFTEEN

When I woke up the sun already rose and Syrus was nowhere to be seen,I sat up wincing a little from the pain that came from in between my legs.
I blushed and squealed in delight as the memories from last night came to me,but it would have been nice if I woke up next to him.
I got up on shaky legs and walked to the bathroom,my entire body was covered in marks and hickeys. I can't believe that he is finally accepting me.
I took a shower in his bathroom,I had nothing else to wear so I put on one of his t shirts but as soon as I opened the door there was a fresh clean uniform outside the door,I was worried about being seen in his clothes but I wanted people to know that he has finally claimed me as his mate.
After changing I walked to the kitchen to see if I can get something to eat even though I know that when it is past the times given to have breakfast there isn't anything left but I was so hungry I couldn't wait for lunch.
I met one of the other servants that told me that Tatiana called for me out in the garden. My stomach hollowed out and my heart almost leaped out of my chest, I lost all appetite.
I followed her as she led me to the garden. Why must I be afraid? I am his mate after all, I assured myself as we walked there.
Tatiana looked as beautiful as always, there was just something about these wolves, maybe it's a werewolf thing where they're all pretty. She sat there as another Omega gave her a pedicure while the other gave her a foot massage.
I stood there fondling with my fingers as she completely ignored my existence, Tatiana just like Syrus was a pure blood her father was also an elder.
After what seemed to have been twenty minutes passed before I saw movement from her . She turned to me with a smile on her face, there is just something that eks me , it carries a venomous bite.
"I see that you spent the night with him",she says, making me blush.
She chuckled before standing up and walking towards me and opening my shirt revealing the hickeys and marks Syrus left behind.
"I hope you don't hope this changes anything right?",she warmly smiled.
" Don't get your hopes too high up ,or else you will be disappointed",she says holding my chin up.
" I'm his mate",I manage to say.
"And? So what if you're his mate ? Let's not get ahead of each other my dear Eden, a man like Syrus isn't for everyone much less a human like you,we all know he is going to end up with me not with that wretched Deborah,not you but me, because we compliment each other and it is a good alliance between our families".
" Why are you telling me this ? Does Syrus feel that way?",I ask .
" I'm just letting you know,so that you can get it into that pretty head of yours",she says bearing her fangs at me, I struggled to get her hand off of me because it felt like to wanted to rip my jaw from my face.
She let go of me and went back to her seat like nothing happened. I was still punished because I woke up really late .
"Where did you disappear to last night? Did you spend the night with Mark?", Jill asks me as soon as we see each other at lunch. Speaking of Mark ,I wonder how he is
Thinking of last night I couldn't contain the smile that creeped on my face.
Jill's eyes widened as she loudly exclaimed drawing everyone's attention to us. After lunch ,since we clean the Alpha's floor we don't have anything to do after lunch,so I tell her everything that happened last night.
"Oh my gosh,you mean you and the Alpha?",she questions.
" Yes",i shyly answer.
" So like are you together? Are you the new Luna?".
" I don't know, we haven't seen each other yet",
I really don't know what Syrus is thinking right now and I don't want to pressure him into claiming me ,I want him to slowly accept me and forget about Deborah making room for me in his heart, I'm his mate and that's the important part,he will learn to love me at his own pace.
"Does Collin have a mate?", I asked as I was helped Jill hang the washed sheets on the line .
"Used his mate was pregnant when she was attacked by a rogue,she and Deborah went out when they were attacked",she says. Thinking of the always serious Collin that,I felt really felt bad for him it must have been had to lose both your mate and child at the same time. But I always feel he has a fondness for Jill I wanted to ask her about it but I saw Mark speaking to Roman.
I just felt that somehow what happened last night was kind of my fault and I want to apologise to him.
I watched as they walked to the house and after making sure my neck was consealed I was about to walked to him ,when the one of the head servants called for me.
"The Alpha wants to see you in his office",she said.
He is finally back. I couldn't control the strong beating if my heart as I walked to his study. I straightened the invisivible wrinkles on my uniform before entering and what I was met with was a mess of the entire room, everything was turned upside and Syrus sat at his desk mixing some wolf's name into his glass of whiskey.
"Come here", he said beckoning me with his finger. I step over the books,wood broken glass and stood before me. He swept everything on the table to the floor and placed me on top of it then he did something that I thought he would never do, Syrus wrapped his arms around me and embraced me. My heart was beating really fast "come down I can hear you heart beat erratically", he whispered against my neck.
Does this mean he is finally accepting me? I wrapped my hands around him too and just took in his scent.
I wondered what made him angry,the moment didn't last long when the door opened and a sarcastic laugh rang out.
"Oh how lovely", Yadira laughed "must you throw a fit like a little boy each time you argue with father",she said and within seconds she had covered the distance between the door and where we sat, I know they have some sort of super speed but I'm still not used to it. So that is why he was so upset, because he got into a fight with his father.
"Eden!",she exclaimed, coming close to me and taking a wiff of me "oh no, you have your scent all over her, careful brother don't indulge yourself too much".
Syrus ignored Yadira and stayed in the same position, Yadira grew impatient "you'll find me in the office of your underground cell,I need to speak to you or and I want to see how my sister-in-law is doing", she says and turns to me caressing my face " it will be a shame a Eden", she says and walks out leaving me confused by what she meant.
"Make sure to clean this up", Syrus said in a cold tone and got up, we got back to where we were in the beginning.
"Syrus"I called out and held his hand ,I wanted to tell him that it didn't have to be like this,I don't know what he was going through but he didn't have to push me away.
"Alpha,I won't repeat myself", he said and left. Tears stung my eyes as I held myself together not to cry,I had to be positive,he was just upset, so I got up and started picking the broken furniture.
I heard a snicker from the door and Tatiana stood there with that disturbing smile of hers.
"Not you nor Deborah", she said and walked away.
I don't care what any of them says. I'm not going to give up on Syrus,he was made for me and I for him.
