Chapter FORTY EIGHT

It wasn't until midday that I woke up and when I turned to Syrus'side he was surprisingly still there.
"Why are you still here?"I asked, a little confused.
" Don't be so cold hearted are you going to throw me out of bed after sleeping with me, what happened to hello how did you sleep or good morning",he chuckled.
" No I'm just surprised to see you here you're usually gone by the time I wake up",I smile and run my hand through his hair.
"Well get used to seeing me here, waking up next to you",he says and kisses me. I could feel his hands touching places he shouldn't so I pushed him away,it was already late in the morning. Remembering what Jill said it seems we're the ones that keep everyone else up , I'd die of embarrassment if they heard us during the day as well.
"It will be quick,I promise",he groaned and continued. My resolve was always so weak in front of him so I caved in. What he called quick was two hours quick , even then I just had to refuse many times.
When I woke up again it was midday,I stood up and my legs were about to give out. This is the last time I believe him when he says it's going to be quick.
I wrapped my hair in a scarf. It was about time that I took my braids out and ran myself a nice hot bath just to relax my aching muscles. I won't let him touch me for a week,I promised myself and this time I meant it. I closed my eyes and just soaked in the warm water when my mind went back to a few hours ago.
"Son of a..",I cursed under my breath.
Maybe we'll make it three days. He won't touch me for three days straight.
I heard a slight knock on the door and Jill walked in with Malkiel,who upon seeing me began laughing and clapping his hands.
"Well hello there star shine",she mocks "you seem to have had a great night,did you have a great night Malkiel because I certainly didn't!", She says making Malkiel laugh.
" You know what you did? A nice hot bath there's room for one more if you'd like to join me",I smiled and took Malkiel from her " you want to take a bath with mommy don't you?", I said and tickled him.
Jill rolled her eyes and joined us too. I teased her after I saw the fresh hickeys Collin left on her.
After our bath Malkiel was tired so I put him to sleep and Jill helped me take out my braids,she also helped wash and comb my hair,and I did hers as well. But our little fun time was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"I heard you guys had fun, even taking a bath together", Collin said as soon as he saw Jill who went to open the door.
"How about you take a bath with me as well later",he said and kissed her neck.
" What is it that you want Collin, you're interrupting our girl time", Jill says and pushed him away.
" I came to deliver this",he says and hands her a box " a little gift for our Luna here ",he teased and whispered something in Jill's ear that made her blush red.
"Go away",she said and pushed him out of the door.
"What is it?",I ask Jill as she brings the box to me. We opened it revealing a beautiful black dress,there was a note in the box so I read it and it said to go to the clearing in the woods where we had our mating ceremony when the sun sets.
"Wow this is beautiful Eden", Jill says and takes the dress out.
"Yes it is beautiful",I smile and say. We spent the rest of the afternoon getting me ready for my date.
"You look good to fuck", Yedira who just walked in says.
" Eden and Syrus have a date", Jill fills her in.
"No wonder he had that stupid smile on his face all day ,it annoyed the hell out of me",she says and lifts Malkiel who just woke up.
" Seems like you'll be having a sibling soon my angel, don't worry you'll always be my favorite no matter how cute the new one is going to be",she says and tickles him.
" Yadira", I say and blush, she's making me really embarrassed right now.
"What's the reason you think he sent that dress that leaves little to the imagination",she shrugs and takes Malkiel away.
" You sure look good my friend,who says he won't rip the dress off you the moment he sees you and makes love to you in the woods", she says, poking me with her elbow.
"Enough ! Already he just wants to talk and spend time together", I say and slap her hand away.
" Talk ? You two sure have a different way of talking",she laughs. Of course I won't let him do anything I have already made up my mind, after three days.
It was time and I made my way to the clearing,the entire path was illuminated by beautiful lights and covered in a red carpet.
I walked over to the area and a tent was set up,I entered the beautifully decorated tent that had a touch of Moon's touch only she can decorate this way,the tent even had a mattress in it covered in petals.
Syrus stood there with a white rose in his hand, dressed in black just like me.
"You look beautiful",he smiled and handed me the rose.
"You clean up pretty nice as well Alpha", I smile and sniff the rose,he kisses my hand and helps me to my seat.
"So what are we celebrating?", I ask.
"You. Us",he says and pours some wine in my glass.
"I never knew I'd be this happy since I met you", he says after taking a seat,I could tell he was nervous as he shifted uncomfortably in his chair making me chuckle at how cute he looked.
"I wanted to apologize for how I acted at the beginning and I hope you can forgive me, having you in my life has brought the light that I never knew I needed. I love you always have and I was a coward for not accepting it and saying it earlier",
" What did you say?",I asked, intending to tease him. Of course I knew how he felt towards me.
"I love you Eden Blake,my fated ,my mate,my happiness",he says and kisses my hand. He took my fingers and licked them one by one making my breath hitch.
"Three days, remember Eden three days",I said to myself.
" Three days for what?",
" Three days until I'd let you touch me again",I say and Syrus laughs.
Before I knew it I was in is arms with my legs around his waist "how about skipping to main course?",he says, biting my lower lip. And just like that I forgot about the three days I myself agreed to.
