Chapter THIRTY SIX

The words Simon and Tatiana said kept playing in my mind,as I lay back in bed with Jill next to me.
She is long gone and there is nothing left of her so why does he still care so much for her. Could there really be a breakthrough since Collin, Yedira and Moon went too.
I'm doing the right thing. She is a danger to everyone as Luna. I have to keep everyone safe , it's for his own good and the reason there is no space for me in Syrus' heart is because she is still here.
I slowly got up and my legs unconsciously led me to Syrus' study.I moved the huge painting of his mother I had placed there.
"I'm sorry mother in-law",I say and remove the painting from where it hung on the wall. I tried the combination I tried some time back and it finally opened.
Seeing the gun and magazine filled with silver bullets,I hesitated a little but placed a hand on my pregnancy bump.I made up my mind I've never fired a gun but I've seen my brother and his friends use it once when they were planning on going for a robbery.
I grabbed the gun and I made my way to where Deborah was being held. It was time to end this once and for all.I was going to help Syrus make the decision he was hesitant to make all this time.
Most of the wolves were still filled with merry from the ceremony earlier and security was kind of lux so this was my only chance.
I walked all the way to the dungeon "what are you doing here Ms Eden oh sorry Luna? '', a young guard ,he was amongst the boys that had arrived at the house that had just shifted for the first time. But I took out the gun and pointed it at him ,by the look on his face he knew exactly the type of gun I was holding in my hands.
"Leave otherwise don't blame me for hurting you",I say and he takes a step back " Give me the keys to cell number eleven,I say and he throws me the keys,I pick them off the ground and lock the station from the outside.
I walk down the familiar dimly lit hall stopping in front of Deborah's cell. I place the key card in and I hear the many locks inside turn drawing the attention of Deborah. She had gotten worse since the last time I saw her. She now looks a lot like the wolves that attacked Syrus and I in London.
I finally hear it unlock and I begin turning with all my strength. I push it open and as soon as she sees me ,she lounges at me but is held back by the chains that hold her.
"I'm sorry",I say and aim my gun at her pulling the trigger as she continues to growl at me,saliva foaming at her mouth.
"Eden stop!", Syrus yells, stopping me in my actions.
"This is for your own good, there is nothing you can do to save her!",I yell back at him and Collin standing in the hallway. "You can't save her, Syrus! It's for the best",I say and shoot at her.
" No !", Syrus yells.
As it turns out I missed the shot,and the bullet hit the chain where it connected to the wall and I had accidentally set her free. At that moment I knew I had done everything wrong.
"Run !", Syrus shouted as he ran towards me but it was too late.
Deborah was already in the air ,aiming for my neck.I moved a little and she bit my shoulder.I screamed in pain as her sharp fangs ripped through my flesh .
A shot was fired and Deborah was forcefully removed off of me, Collin had shot her with the short gun he came with.
My vision began to darken as I struggled to stay awake from the shock of the pain running through me.
Syrus reached me but when I thought he'd carry me in his arms and get me out of there he bypassed me and rushed to Deborah's side. Collin must have used silver bullets because I could see her groan and thrush in pain as the metal burned away her flesh.
"Syrus' ',I choked out ,as I bled through my wounds. I could feel the violent turning in my stomach and I felt like I was going to pass out from the intense pain.
Collin carried me in his arms and ran to the infirmary within a minute, because it was like one moment I was in his arms and the other he was laying me on the bed as Mark and some nurses havoured over me.
"She is losing a lot of blood", Mark said.I was choking in my own blood as the nurses made an insingion on my neck so I could breathe properly.
Syrus burst in and was shouting for help for the dying Deborah in his arms.
"She's going into shock!"I heard someone shout as I tried to stay awake.
" She's not going to make it,the baby is not going to make it!",
" Whatever you do save my grandchild", Simon shouted.
" What do I do, Syrus?", He asks.
"You know what we agreed on Syrus. As soon as she gives birth you kill her , since she is losing blood might as well let her die",he says.
What? Syrus was going to kill me? He agreed to it? What the hell is Simon talking about?
"Baby...",is the last thing I hear before everything goes black.
