Chapter 27

"You are a disgrace!" A strong whip hit my body while facing my father and mother. This was followed by a series of strikes created by Alada.

"You begged? Just because of a toddler? What madness did Ksara do? You are a disgrace to the clan!" Mother said angrily and in an instant, she was in front of me and slapped me with all her might.

I didn't move, I didn't speak, and I silently accepted the punishment they gave me.

"I thought you were different from your oldest sister," father said, I looked away as I remembered what they did to Avila.

"Take Ksara to the curb and teach her a lesson." mother's order was immediately obeyed by her two servants, they immediately came to me and held me tightly, they pulled me away in front of them and immediately brought me to the corner where they also brought Avila.

Mother's servants handcuffed my hand quietly, then Alada entered my room with an eel tail and some things to use to punish me.

These are the rules of our family, the guilty is guilty, and the punishment is the punishment. We were made to punish all sinners, that's why no one is safe.

"If only you had listened to me." She said while pouring hot sulfur on my tail from the circle she was holding. I screamed in pain.

"You need to be taught a lesson because you're going soft on people." She said then hit me with a whip with a sharp blade on my back, I screamed again in pain.

"I said, I will watch you in all your actions, you did not act right Ksara, you know people. You prioritized the problems of others over your mission." She said and put a type of worm full of sulfur on my back, I screamed in pain when I felt it touching my back and its movement, it bit me on my side which made me scream even more.

Alada observed my behavior, which is why she reported me to our parents because of my conversation with the angels from heaven.

One of the strict prohibitions in our law is the prohibition to have a relationship or talk with angels from above, this is a symbol of betraying our clan which I violated just now.

I became weak as the worm that Alada placed on my back began to sink.

"You are no different from Avila." She said then hit me again with the whip in front of me causing me to scream in pain due to the sharp blades digging into my skin.

Punishing me continued, and different types of punishment were done to me, I almost bathed in my blood because of what Alada was doing to me until she gave up due to exhaustion.

When my whole body weakened, I felt like I was going to lose consciousness because of the punishment that was done to me, this is the first time that I have been punished like this, and I am so thankful that I was not punished the way that was done to Avila then.

"Try to do what you did again, Ksara. I assure you that you will be like Avila." She said then left me, I leaned against the hot wall of the crank, swallowed, and laughed. What exactly came into my mind to please the angels who are our enemies? It was stupid to talk to that angel just because a toddler first trusted me.

"I-I'm scared of you."

"To go to hell?"

"Please."

I closed my eyes as I remembered what happened just now, from that boy saying goodbye to me, until Cynrad and I talked and I asked the angel who was our enemy.

"What's the point of me helping that boy?" I asked myself then started removing the handcuffs from my hand. I closed my eyes because of the pain in my whole body.

"That's why I'm a double kill," I whispered then slowly stood up and walked out of the bend, I heard the laughter of other demons with us while looking at me walking, the screams of the souls being burned and tortured, and the stares of the few I met.

I didn't pay attention to it, instead, I immediately went to my father and mother's room, all three of them looked at me at the same time when I opened the door, they looked at me from head to toe.

"I'm leaving," I said coldly then turned my back on them.

"I hope you learned your lesson." I heard my father say, my jaw dropped and I didn't answer him, I walked out of their room.

 I walked weakly until I teleported to the ground where I last saw Pavel. I was in front of the church again and I could feel the disgust of this place for someone like me.

They are no longer in the place where I left them earlier, no more also the angel who blocked the door of the church earlier, where they are, I don't know. I started walking in another direction so I could get to the back of the church. I went through the woods around the back of the church and from where I was standing I saw Pavel and Cynrad facing my human body with flowers around it.

I frowned.

"What are those idiots doing?" I asked while looking at them.

"It seems like just yesterday that the four of us were happy," Bael said sadly while looking at my body.

"It happened suddenly," Cynrad said, I saw Pavel approach my human body and hold my hand.

"Why did you leave us so soon?" Pavel asked so my forehead wrinkled, do they think I'm dead? I close my eyes remembering that my soul is not in that body so my breathing and heartbeat in that body will probably stop.

I was about to walk closer to that body when I saw the angels around Pavel as if they were watching over the three even my human body.

They all looked at me at the same time, causing me to look at them too.

"You are a disgrace!"

I remembered again what my mother told me earlier. I couldn't move my body closer to my human body, I just stared at the angels who were also looking at me, there was no emotion on their faces so I couldn't tell if they intended to hurt me or what.

"Come back to us... Ksara." I turned my attention to Pavel who was crying while holding my hand.

"What you said to baptize that name... we've done it, so come back to us Ksara, we don't know how we're going to start without you." I heard what Pavel said so I smiled, and they did what I ordered. Now, I don't have a problem with that toddler.

"It is wrong to steal a body that is not yours." I looked at the one who spoke next to me, I frowned when I saw a priest standing next to me while looking at the three.

"Will you let me go?" I asked so he looked at me, he was old and had white hair, he looked at me from head to toe then looked back at the three.

"That man holding your hand right now." He said so I looked at the three and saw Pavel holding my hand. "He begged to be baptized the name Draken Hudgens, then he also begged me to help him wake up the body you stole." He says.

"I didn't steal that body," I said so he looked at me and laughed.

"Not?" he asked.

"That body was given to me by my parents," I said while looking at the three, Pavel was still crying while holding my human body.

"Look, you talked to an angel earlier, didn't you? Why did you do that thing?" I looked at him, he was smiling while looking at the three. I laughed.

"That plea is not true," I said so he looked at me and laughed.

"That's why you're crying." He said that's why I looked away.

"Who are you to tell me that? Aren't you afraid of me?" I asked, making him laugh even more.

"Why should I be afraid of you?" He asked, my eyebrows arched.

"I'm one of the children that everyone fears, I'm a demon and I can hurt you if I want to," I said so he laughed again which annoyed me.

"I see you differently." I was stunned by what he said, there was still a smile on his lips that irritated me even more.

"You can't hurt." He added that I was about to hurt him when I stopped because I remembered that people were looking, one wrong move by me I might go back to where I came from.

"The boy named Draken said thank you." I was stunned by what he said, I looked at his face even more and almost took a step back to realize he was the angel I begged earlier, he laughed and then looked at the three.

"I know they will hurt you again when they see you talking to people like us." Suddenly, his voice became soft, I didn't answer him, I backed away and turned my back on him, they were deceiving me.

"Wait a minute." He said so I was stunned but I kept my back turned.

"He gave you permission to use that body." I slowly looked at him, he was looking at me with a smile. I frowned and looked at my human body which was still Pavel holding.

"He said, you have one more mission to fulfill so he allowed you to use that body." It said so I looked back at that angel.

"He's willing to... make that man bad?" I asked, he laughed and just shrugged.

"Find out." He said then turned his back on me. I watched it approach the three and talk to them, my mind was still floating, I looked at the angels who were no longer looking at me as if they didn't care if I would return to my human body.

 I immediately ran closer to my human body, the angel who pretended to be a priest looked at me then smiled and continued talking to the three.

"You have nothing to worry about." That's what I heard before I merged with my human body.

Suddenly I sat up and caught my breath, I felt like I held my breath for a few hours.

"K-Ksara." I looked at the one who called me and saw Pavel with swollen eyes looking at me, he immediately let go of the hand of the angel who pretended to be a priest then came to me and hugged me tightly.

I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack because it's beating so fast while Pavel hugs me.

"D...Don't scare me like that again." He said crying while hugging me, my hand suddenly moved to hug him too, but I didn't say a word and remained silent.

"I...I thought I would lose you, d...don't leave me again."
