Chapter 31

"My body aches," Bael complained while we were walking, I was walking quietly while the three were behind me complaining why their bodies suddenly hurt.

"Damn, I thought Abiah would go with us to the city, it would be nice if she was with us so that Bael would have a chat mate and the surroundings would be noisy," Cynrad said, I got tired and took a deep breath.

"Why did she go ahead of us again?" Pavel asked me.

"A deer passed by earlier, she said she needed to follow it so she could give something to her parents in town." My answer is simple.

"That's it? Why did we lose consciousness?" Bael asked so I prepared my acting skills. I faced the three.

"Damn, don't you remember that you hit your head when the deer jumped on the three of you?" I asked so the three of them frowned and tried to remember. Fools.

"I don't remember anything," Bael said while holding his head.

"That's normal, your head was hit so hard earlier on the floor that's why you lost consciousness," I said then turned my back on them and looked down.

"Please I'm begging you... I need you."

I remembered again what that holy woman had told me before I sent her away. I took a deep breath.

"Are you blind?" I asked the holy woman she is kneeling in front of me. "I am a creature of darkness and my job is to make your lives miserable, not to help you," I told her, she cried even more like a toddler in front of me.

"Y-you are my only hope to return to town without losing my memories." She said crying. I laughed.

"Why don't you ask the saint you worship for help? He is more capable than me." I said and turned back again.

"Please... I need your help... I miss my.... parents." She said she was crying so I took a deep breath.

"Well, don't go home," I said annoyed, and faced her. "Why can't you go home alone and you have to bother me? I have a mission that's why I'm here on this earth, and my mission is to do evil and make that man evil not to help you go home. " I said irritably, she was just crying while bowing.

"You managed to leave alone, now go home alone." I then said she was tortured.

"Y-you don't understand!" She suddenly shouted causing me to glare at her, just as I was about to approach her to strangle her when I felt the energy protecting her, and I glared at her.

"People like you are also to blame for why I can't come home!" She shouted and it was obvious to her that she was disgusted with people like me, I laughed.

"You still feel sorry for your problem." I then said she was turned away.

"The town has a curse... and it's your fault why I can't go home to us even though I want to go home." She said she was crying so I was stunned.

Curse? the town? I did not look at her, I remained standing with my back to her.

"The.., all I need is... your help to get me home." She wailed and said that I bit my tongue.

"I want...I want to go home with us so please....help me...I will do everything just help me go home and see my parents.." She said crying so I turned to her and laughed.

"Everything? even if the exchange is your life and the souls of your parents?" I asked that's why she didn't answer, I could see the disappointment and sadness in her eyes. I laughed and looked at the sky.

"Do you think that I will only ask you for something simple in exchange for my help? I am a demon, heartless and merciless, so you cannot expect anything from me." I said looking at her. "As I said, ask your God for help, not me," I said turning back again.

"I'm willing." I closed my eyes at what she said, how naughty people are!

"But I'm talking to you, even if you only take my life and soul, don't take my mother and father. Please." She said so I faced her again and sat in front of her then looked into her eyes, she was serious about that.

"You can make me a pet, slave, or whatever you want but please, don't be my parents anymore." She said she was serious.

"I like the idea," I said briefly, I saw the power of the one protecting her weakening because of her agreement with me, Until that weak power completely disappeared, I immediately choked and slapped her. Reason for her to be afraid of me and nothing happens no matter what she prays in her mind.

"Do you understand what you said, Woman?" I asked bravely and showed her my true colors, my true form, the scary me. She crawled away from me while I came closer and closer to her.

"The making deal with me is the biggest sin you have committed in your life, rejecting the powerful being that you people worship," I said coldly and fearfully as I approached her, she leaned against the tree so I sat in front of her and gently touched her chin.

"But I will reject your agreement with me," I said coldly then returned to normal human form. There is still a trace of fear in her eyes.

"I don't want to waste time on someone like you," I said and stroked her hair.

"I don't want to waste the time I should be devoting to finishing my mission," I added and came closer to her and licked her cheek causing her to be even more nervous.

"Your soul is really good, but I have no intention of taking it because I already have too many slaves," I said standing up.

"But if you want, I will make the deal. It does not include your soul or the souls of your parents." I said so she looked at me, I smiled.

"If you will help me to make that man evil," I said and pointed at Pavel. "And after my mission, I will help you get home," I said and grinned.

I saw doubt in her eyes.

"Your conscience can't handle what I want, go away, you're wasting my time and you're only going to ruin my strategy," I said, I raised my eyebrows when she didn't move, I entered her mind and controlled her body to leave and walk away from us.

We have been walking for several hours, and I can already see the big clock that stands in the middle of the City.

"Finally we're close," Bael said with a smile on his face as if he had won.

"Come on, let's find a place where we can stay while we're in the city," I said and was about to walk when someone spoke behind us.

"A WHILE!" At the same time, we looked behind us and saw three large trees with a distance between the holy woman and us, my eyes sharpened when she approached us, she smiled at the three and then looked at me.

"I agree." She said, something that I understood and something that made the three frown.

This girl wanted to see her parents, so she made a deal with a demon like me.
