Chapter 34
I silently watched how the holy woman fixed the bed of the three fools, I even saw her take a breath after she put a blanket on the three who were unconscious, when we stepped on the door, Cynrad, who had to hold Bael who was also unconscious. The saintly woman looked at me and smiled doubtfully.
"I'm sorry, I thought I could teach Pavel bad things and help you." She said so my eyebrows arched and signaled her to come out of the room alone, I sat on the sofa and watched her close the door of the room and then hesitatingly sat in front of me, I could feel the fear running through her body.
"I'm sorry--"
"What would you do if you were in my position and someone liked you?" I interrupted what she was going to say, she stopped and stared at me, she seemed to understand what I wanted to say. Little by little the fear disappeared from her body.
"I don't think there's anything wrong if I just let that person like me." She answered so I crossed my arms and leaned on the sofa.
"Even though I know that we'll both lose in the end, I'll just let him do what he wants if I'm in your position and I'm someone like you. I won't dictate what he feels because first of all, that's what he feels and secondly, I didn't force him to like me." She said so I sighed.
"Unless... I also have feelings for that person." I looked at what she said. "The one power in the world that is hard to beat is love, if we want each other there is no reason to stop it, if we stop it it's like we're just torturing ourselves and wasting the time we should be feeling the love we feel for each other." She said so my lips parted. She said a lot.
"Even if it's forbidden, you're still going to fight for it?" I asked, and he immediately nodded.
"It's better that you tried to fight and lost than you didn't fight and lost." She said then smiled at me.
"Loving him is a losing game, those quotes are for you. That means, if you love him, you've already lost. You've lost because you loved him, what you should have come here to make him bad is because you loved him." I bowed my head because of what she said, she seemed to know Pavel's feelings for me.
I was silent. I don't know why I was struck by what this holy woman said, somehow she was useful.
"He confessed to you right?" She asked so I looked away. She laughed. "That said, I've never really made a mistake." She said then leaned back in her seat.
"What's your plan? Now that the person you want to make bad likes you?" She asked, I looked at her. "You probably don't like him do you?" She asked so my forehead wrinkled and she struggled.
"Of course not," I said then raised my eyebrows. "How do you know if you like a guy?" I asked, and she laughed.
"It's simple when your heart beats faster and when you're together you don't know the time is running, when you feel something in your stomach like butterflies flying and when you get jealous every time girls are approaching him and when you suddenly smile when his name is mentioned." I was suddenly taken aback, by the way, she said it as if she could feel them.
"Have you ever felt those things?" I asked, the smile suddenly disappeared from her lips and she slowly nodded.
"Before." She answered.
"What happened?" I asked, she smiled at me with a hint of doubt.
"Nothing, go with the other women." She answered so I laughed. "People often aren't sure of their feelings." She said that made me smile.
"You guys just like Zeus who can't get enough of one," I said and her eyes widened. "My father is still good, content with my mother. He is a form of darkness but he is more loyal than the father who made you." I said and shook my head.
"You're the daughter of Hades and Persephone?" She asked, I just shrugged my shoulders in response.
"Aren't they only three children? Makaria, Melinoe, and Zagreus?" She asked, I laughed.
"We are six," I said, causing her eyes to widen. "Alada is four, Avila is five and I am the sixth child," I said so she opened her lips in shock, I just shrugged my shoulders and changed the subject.
"What exactly are you saying about the curse in the town?"I asked a different question, her aura suddenly weakened and there was sadness in her eyes.
"Ah, is that? You know, that curse is too powerful to make, the only thing I can say is that whoever tells the story of that curse will be killed." She said so my lips parted.
"I want to tell you, but I still want to come home alive." She said sadly. I took a deep breath, so a strong curse is flowing through that town.
"But I know someone who can tell you what's going on in that town, he's been living in this world for hundreds of years and I'm sure he'll be able to fight the initial curse of that curse that surrounds the town." He said so I stood up.
"Let's go," I said, so her lips twitched.
"Huh? but it's late, he's probably already asleep and resting, let's go tomorrow," It said.
"We have something important to look for tomorrow so I don't have time tomorrow, so let's go now," I said, she put her hand on her head.
"But he doesn't want to--"
"You don't want to come home?" I interrupted what she was going to say, she swallowed and was forced to stand up.
"I will never win against you." She said then turned back.
"I'll just get my stuff." She said and entered the room.
