Chapter 41
I stopped walking when the feather that our mortal enemy gave me stopped floating, I looked in front of me and saw the small house standing next to the dead tree. The surroundings are dark even though the sun is still shining, the atmosphere in this place is strange, the surroundings are cold even though there is no wind, the surroundings seem dead even though on the other side of it the plants are alive and well. The feather took me to the top of a mountain, I walked for more than a day just to get here in front of a small house.
I took a deep breath and knocked on the wooden door.
"Avila." I called but no one answered. I knocked again and this time it was loud, the door suddenly opened and the man who caused Avila to be severely punished spat out.
"Who are you?" He immediately asked, I watched his face.
"Castiel, Who is that?" I looked at the speaker next to him and smiled when I saw Avila.
"Avila." I called and was about to approach her, when Castiel blocked in front of her.
"I'm sorry, but your face doesn't look familiar to me. I don't remember my wife ever being friends, how did you get here?" He asked so my lips parted. "How did you meet my wife?" He asked so I looked at Avila who was only looking in one direction.
"Who is that?" Avila asked, so I slowly raised my hand in front of her and waved it, that's when I realized the reason why she didn't greet me. She can't see.
"Sister..." I softly called her and slowly lowered my hand, I saw how Avila's expression changed, she immediately raise her hand so I immediately went in front of her and the moment she touched me tears flowed to her eyes. She drew a smile on her lips and slowly raised her hand towards my face.
"Ksara." She called me softly and with a smile, my eyes immediately warmed up and for reasons I don't know, my tears suddenly started to flow down the moment she touched my cheek.
"What are you doing here?" She was crying so Castiel looked at me.
"Then, you are eer sister she always mentions to me." He said then opened the door properly.
"Come in." He said then smiled at me. "I will prepare you a snack." He said this and helped Avila to sit on an old chair, I immediately went inside and looked around. It's smaller than Gabriel's house, I sat in front of Avila and the moment Castiel left I immediately grabbed Avila's hand, who immediately grabbed my hand.
"How are you my little sister? It's been more than a decade since I touched you again." She said with a smile, I smiled and kissed her hand that I was holding.
"W-what happened to you?" Suddenly my voice broke the moment I spoke, she smiled at me bitterly and as I did she guided my hand to her lips to kiss.
"W-why can't you see me?" My jaw drop the moment her tears started flowing again. I never thought that this would happen when we both met. Out of our six siblings, she's the only one I can't do bad things to. As it were, I was a gentle sheep when it came to Avila because she was my only sister who was close to me and always understood me.
"This is my… punishment." She said weakly. "This is one of the punishments I got from them." She said causing me to feel angry with them. "This is the punishment they gave to me for loving an enemy." She said with a smile. "But I don't regret that I chose to love the enemy rather than fight them." She said with a smile and the love for that angel could be seen in her eyes.
"Why are you the only one being punished? Why is it that I don't see anything wrong with him?" I asked, she shook her head at me.
"He was punished, as I was. They also cut off his wing, removed his identity from the angels he was with and... even his memory of them was removed from him." She said and then sat down properly.
"He also always complains to me that all of a sudden he has wounds in different parts of his body." She said softly then smiled bitterly at me. "We face the same punishment together because of our violation of the law of our black angels." She said so I swallowed, I looked at Castiel as he placed the snack he made in front of us. He sat next to Avila and held his hand then smiled at me.
"It's good that you visited us." Castiel said, if you look at him, he looks like a normal person instead to angels like him.
"I really wanted to be here, especially to see Avila because I want to know something." I said so Castiel nodded then looked at Avila.
"I'll be in the room first, I'll leave you guys first." He said to Avila and then kissed her on the forehead before leaving, I smiled and looked at Avila.
"I won't wonder why you chose him." I said, she smiled at me.
"What do you want to know?" She asked, I took a deep breath and leaned back in my seat.
"I know you're the only one who can understand me." I said and swallowed, holding her right hand.
"I want to… know who I really am." I said causing her to stop and stiffen.
"Please, Avila. I want to know who I am, I have the right to know the real me." I said. HSh breathed deeply into me then held my hand.
"I don't know who you really are." She says. "But, do they mother and father know that you want to know who you really are?" she asked. I swallowed at her question. They don't know father and mother that I want to know who I am.
"No." I answered bitterly, she smiled at me doubtfully.
"I only know a little about you, so that's all the information I can give you." She said, I immediately nodded.
"I'm fine with the little information I can find out." I said, she smiled at me then let go of my hand and leaned back in her chair.
"The only thing I know is... You're not mom and dad's daughter." She said so my lips parted. "Only the five of us are their children, it was my birthday one hundred years ago when I saw you in father's room." She said that made me stiff.
"Your physical appearance is the same as when I saw you, the only difference is.. you don't have horns because I put them on you when you weren't awake." She said so I was even more surprised by what she said.
"Enter my mind Ksara, I will show you what I know." She said softly so even though my whole body was shocked I followed what she said, I used my power to enter her mind and as she said... she showed me what she knew.
