BRIANNA

“What do you mean by, the plane is coming apart?” Liam asks, getting up.

“No, sit down,” I said to him as the turbulence continued. I could feel the plane trying to tear apart but it’s going at a slow pace.

“We need to find out if anyone is on the ground,” I said looking at Liam.

“How do we do that?” he asked.

“Agatha, She will be at the command center right now,” Trish said and he nodded.

“Okay, what do we do?” Layla asked me as she walked towards me. Trish was also looking at me expecting an answer.

“What. We. Should do?” I asked and they both nodded.

“Is that a joke, you two are the most experienced out of the three of us,” I uttered.

“But you are the most powerful among us,” Trish said and I chuckled nervously.

Suddenly a small part of the plane opened creating a space. Fortunately there was not much panic but fear on people's faces.

“There is a spare,” someone said and began to close the space.

“I'm going to be sick,” I said, holding my stomach.

“Hey, hey,” I heard Dia in my head. “You can't be sick. Everyone here is counting on you if you haven't noticed.”

She was right, I looked around to see everyone's eyes on me.

“Don't bother trying to know what they are thinking,” Dia said, “I already know. Each of them thinks you can save this plane.”

“How exactly does that work, I can't just clap my hands together and the plane will be still,” I said to her.

“Wow, you already know what to do,” she said and went silent.

“That's really helpful,” I thought.

“There,” Ethan said, pointing at his tablet. “I see at least five people on the ground.”

I tried looking down through the window beside me. “Nobody should be there. It's all bushes,” I said and he nodded.

“Were Witches,” Mason said with distaste. For once I agree with him.

“Do a comms check of all the other planes, ask if they are experiencing the same thing,” I said to the Royal air attendant.

“Yes, your grace,” he said, walking into the cockpit.

“What's the plan?” Trish asked and I looked at her.

The flight attendant walked back, “none of them are experiencing this, just us ma'am,” he said and I nodded.

“I'm guessing there is a plan now?” Liam asked. I titled my head, giving him a little smile.

I stood in the middle of the plane and took a deep breath.

Trish and Layla stood beside me, “we will follow your lead,” Trish said.

“Yeah, all we need is one spell,” I said and Layla gasped.

“I have an idea of one,” she said and I frowned.

“Care to tell the rest of the class?” I asked her.

“A latin spell,” she said, trying to remember.

“Don’t you think you are taking too long, Layla?” Trish asked.

I walked towards the middle of the plane, stretched my hands wide, “aero firmus, structura integra, aero firmus, structura intergra. Teneo fragilis, junctura sana, Teneo fragilis, junctura sana.”

“It’s working, Brianaa,” I heard Trish's voice and they both joined me.

“Aerius equilibrio, stabils man, Fragile forma, serva totum. Fragile forma, serva totum!” our hands clapped at the same time and a blue light went through the plane. Suddenly there was a large scream.

“What was that?” I asked in fear.
“It’s not from the plane,” Ethan said, “it’s from the ground.”

The plane became steady and I sat down. I took a deep breath while Liam patted my back.

“That was amazing,” he said and I smiled.

“Was it my Mom?” Layla asked and we all looked at her.

“I couldn’t see their faces. I could only tell they were werewitches,” Ethan said to her.

“She’s probably there. Trying to bring down a plane her kids are on,” she said. I looked at her and sighed. This must be hard for her.

“You don’t know if she's doing that out of her own free will,” Liam said to her.

“Why, because she saved you from Thane?” she asked him.

“That at least has to count from something,” Liam said and she scoffed. I kept looking at her. When she wanted to find her mother, she had love and a lot of unsaid questions in her eyes but right now it’s confusion and hate all together.

“You need to talk about what you saw when you disappeared,” i said to her, using a mind link. She looked at me and I smirked.

“You are not the only one who can read minds,” I said to her. She became uncomfortable trying to shut me out of her mind.

“Talk to me, Layla,” I said, sofly.

“I’m not ready to talk about what I saw,” she said looking at me and I nodded , unlinking the both of us.

“What did you both talk about?” I heard Liam’s voice in my head and I gasped.

“How did you know?” I asked him.

“I have been trying to link up with you for about five minutes now,” I turned to him and kissed his cheeks.

We heard the Pilot's voice and got ready to land. I started lookin for my handy bag. “It’s right here, your grace,” Tara said beside me and I sighed.

“Hand it over Tara, once we land you have more important things to do than my handy bag,” I said and she smiled.
“Both of you need to get a room,” I said to Ethan and Trish, who haven’t taken their hands off each other since we heard the Pilot's voice.

The plane landed in the palace airfield and we all made our way to the available cars around. Not all the soldiers followed us, they took secure and defensive positions around the airfield.

“What if we don’t like what we find?” I asked Liam as we got to the palace.

“We move on,” he said then looked at Akire, “Do not leave her side,” he said and I scoffed.

“I think I have been able to prove I can take care of myself,” I said and everyone looked at me. ‘What?!”

“Shhh,” Liam said as we walked into the palace. The whole place was quite unlike the noises the palace is known to have.

“Where do you think everyone has gone?” I asked Akire.

“Not a clue, your grace. During wars, I'm usually in the war fighting, not here,” she said and I nodded.

Suddenly a huge door opened in front of us and a man walked out. He had three dots on the back of his neck.

“Dad?” Ethan said and the man turned around. He was covered with blood.

“Who's blood is that Dad?”
