chapter 20
Eve battered her long lashes and smirked, “Alyssa and I wanted to go shopping, can I have your card?”
“On one condition.” He replied.
Her face fell instantly, “what?”
“Bring some clothes back for Annalise too, she’s in dire need of something to wear other than the ones that don’t fit Zane.” He told her, digging into his back pocket and pulling out a wallet. “If you say no you can’t have it.” He added, waving around a red card he pulls out.
“Of course, any thing for my future sis-in-law.” She says, snatching the card from him. “Size 10 yeah?” She called on her way out of the door.
“You didn’t have to do that.” I protest, “I can’t pay you back.”
“I don’t need you to pay me back, I’m not worried about the money.” He smiles and I nod, not knowing how to respond to that.
I slipped out of my seat and moved to sit on Dean’s lap and apparently that’s all the encouragement he needed. His hand moved to range in my hair, his lips crushing down on mine as my body bowed against him. He stole my breath away with his mouth, as well as my first proper kiss, my body reacting in ways that I never knew possible. My pulse thundering with in my veins, my breath fast and raspy, he was doing things to me that I had never experienced before, that I never thought that I wanted. Until now.
Desire pulsed through me and our tongues tangled together, a strange rhythm and motion that made wetness dampen my trousers, I wanted more, wanted to taste more of him. I wanted him to do more to me. I couldn’t bring myself to pull away, even as my lungs burned, begging for release as I could only breath slightly through my nose.
I found myself reaching down, knowing what awaiting me as I placed my hand between us, wanting to feel the hardness of his manhood. My hands closed of the ridge of his jeans, the warmth and solidness of it making my own pleasure pool as his breath caught.
I pushed my overhand under his shirt and scratched from his had to his hip, feeling the muscles flex as I do. I’ve never thought much about how I may lose my virginity, but as the kiss continues to deepen I realise I wouldn’t mind if it was right now on the kitchen table. I didn’t care where I was, I didn’t even register that Zane was watching as I tightened my grip on his bulge and began to massage it.
When the kiss finally broke we were both panting messes, the desire I could smell between us overwhelming and exciting all at the same time. I didn’t know what to do next, I didn’t know how to tell him that I wanted more of him, that I wished he’d take me.
“You’re going to drive me crazy.” Zane groaned from his chair behind me.
I turned around to look at him with wide eyes, my lips red and swollen from the pressure of the kiss. I find myself looking down at where his manhood is, the bulge roughly the same size as Dean’s each of them pressing tightly against the constricting denim.
“I want to drive you crazy.” I say gasping, “I want you both to take me.”
Zane’s eyes turn a darker shade of blue and Dean”s appear to be almost black, but before we could do anything that we were thinking, the doorbell on the front door rang, pulling us all out of the trance we seemed to be in.
I frowned, growling lowly at the thought of being disturbed. “Who’s that?” I almost shouted.
“That might be Alexander and Matthew, the alphas of the other packs.” Zane groaned, rising to his feet.
Dean lifted me off his lap and placed me onto the floor, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “Looks like we have to postpone to marking ceremony Sweetness.” He chuckled, “don’t show them you are too mad though, my office has only just been fixed.”
“Haha.” I muttered sarcastically , still slightly frustrated. “I’m not going to destroy your office twice in one day, it’s too predictable, gotta keep you on your toes.” I say with a wink.
Zane laughs as he walks out of the room and Dean lifts me into the air, spinning me around as I giggle and flail ungracefully, a snort making it’s way out of me. When he placed me back onto my feet he kissed the top of my head and smiled down at me, nothing but affection in his eyes.
“You’re the best.” He calls, following Zane from the room.
Once I hear voices talking I walk out of the kitchen, running my fingers through my knotted crimson hair as I do, my apprehension of what will happen once again grating at my insides.
I walk into the hall and stop dead, two very distinctive smells drifting towards me as the voices draw closer, one that of citrus fruit and the other an old cologne that has clung with the mixture of wood and sand. I follow the scents whole listening to the voices, knowing that the smells weren’t coming from my mates. But they were just as enticing.
“Where is she?” One said, a sharp edge to his tone. “I hope you are telling the truth.”
“I never expected to meet the Red wolf on my lifetime.” Said another, his voice soft and almost like music to my ears.
“She’s right this way, we’ve just finished lunch.” I heard Zane say in his usual cheery tone.
“Be nice to her you two, she’s been through more than you know.” That was Dean’s strong and stern voice.
I watched as four figures came into view, two of them the men that had saved me when I ran, and the others just as attractive. In fact, they were breathtakingly beautiful.
The first one had Sandy hair and large grey eyes, blonde stubble peppering his chin and a small scar running from the side of his red lips to the tip of his ear, though it didn’t make him any less attractive. Like all the men I had met he was much taller than me, with broad shoulders and a muscular chest. He was wearing a simple black button up shirt and blue jeans, his brown boots clanking against the wooden floor.
Both men stared at me as though I was the most amazing thing they had ever seen, their eyes glazing over every part of my body, locking my voice in my throat. It was as though they were undressing me with their eyes, committing my every curve to memory even in the baggy clothes.
The second male had dark ebony hair, his eyes the shade of a rotten orange, though just as beautiful as the others. He had a dark beard and he wore a blue buttoned shirt and black trousers, a leather jacket finishing his look along with something similar to cow boy boots. He was leaner than the others, though I could tell he was just as strong, the muscles in his arms straining against the sleeves of his jacket.
“Mate.” They said in unison, everyone’s eyes going wide, including mine.
I took a step back, glancing at Zane and Dean in panic, surely I can’t have four mates? That’s impossible! Even two would have been a stretch, but four? It can’t be. I took another step back when the blonde stepped forward, worry in his eyes that he would be rejected.
“I can’t do this.” I cry, turning to run from them all.
