Chapter 65

"What would you like to do now?" Zane asked me, leaning back in his chair as he finished his last bit of cake.
"I'm not sure." I smiled, taking a sip of my coffee. "How's melding the packs coming along?"
"we have almost finished, just building the last few houses that are needed here." Dean contributed, "we should be done in a few days, a week maybe."
"that was fast." My smile grew as I looked between them. "I'm glad we can all be together from now on."
"we don't like being away from you either love." Alexander chuckled, pulling me into his lap.
"You are all sure you don't need my help with anything?" I ask, looking around at each of them.
"Eve is setting up a day care of you want to help with that, might give you a chance to bond with some of the females." Alexander whispered in my ear, his breath on my neck distracting. "I'm sure they would all love to get to know their Luna."
"are you sure? I wouldn't want to impost or step on anyone's toes."
Matthew shook his head as though I was being childish. "Eve would love the help, then later in the week we can introduce you to the rest of the beta's." He pauses for a second, flashing a wide smile. "So long as none of them are your mate, I'm not sharing you with more people."
I laughed and so did the others, the room filled with happiness, something I had never thought I would ever experience. I rubbed my swollen stomach and smiled, I never thought that my life would be like this. But I was pleased this is how it turned out.
"I don't want anyone else apart from those of you in this room, I couldn't ask for anything more." I blush slightly. "You all make me so happy, and I don't think I can ever thank you enough for that."
"theirs no need to thank us sweetness, we will always be here for you. We are a team." Dean soothed, beginning to clear away the plates with the help of Zane.
"I guess you are right, this is all still so new to me that I don't know how to handle it. I guess sometimes I am waiting for you all to reject me in some way." I admit, glad to voice my fears.
alexander chuckled, wrapping his arms tighter around my waist. "You never have to worry about that baby, we will never hurt you. You are carrying our children, how could we even think about rejecting you?"
"I just worry." I laugh nervously. "How about we all watch a movie together?" I ask.
Dean shakes his head, my shoulders dropping. "I don't have time sweetness, too much to do unfortunately. Maybe tomorrow though."
I turn to matthew who also shakes his head, "I have a meeting with my beta in an hour, I have to prepare for that."
I look back at alexander who was still holding me, "I am sorry love, I have to assign jobs to the omegas, they need something to do."
"I can stay with you, nothing is more important than my mate." Zane smiles, pulling me into his arms.
"thank you." I say. "I was worried that I would be left all alone."
"I wouldn't have allowed that." He responds, turning to the others. "You all go do your work, but be back early so we can all go to bed together."
everyone nods their agreement and soon enough it's just me and Zane left in the kitchen, my frown deepening. Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with Zane, it's just that I wanted all of them around me, I wanted my mates together.
"what do you want to watch?" He asks me, taking my hand and leading the way to the tv room.
I smile at him, knowing that he'll die before he sits through another chick flick as he calls them. But I like the romantic films, they always have happy endings.
I tap my chin in thought. "maybe Disney? Or one of those action movies that you like?"
"I'm good for either of those."
"Disney it is then." I say with a wink.
"of course." He laughs, "I wouldn't expect anything else from my lovely little mate."
