Chapter 42

Jiwoon woke up with a bit of drowsiness, this must be the longest sleep that he had in his entire stay in the island. He glanced at his side seeing the blankets and pillows already fixed on the corner. He also folded his own and put them aside on the corner before he finally went out of the tent.
Everyone was already awake and busying themselves on lighting a fire, chopping vegetables and chattering about stuffs. He glanced around and didn"t saw Yenn amongst the crowd. 'Where is he?" he furrowed his brows and glanced over everyone again but he"s really not there. It"s still early, where did he go? He didn"t went missing right? He shook his head since that may not be the case and he just went out for a bit so—he scanned the place again and saw Byul.
He approached Byul who"s loitering around the corner of their camp and speaking to someone in the bush. It might be Yenn...
"Byu—" He paused hearing another voice that is not so Yenn"s.
"Dude, stop joking around. I won"t try to do that shit with you again!"
Byul yelled at the guy kicking the bush in front of him. He"s totally in a bad mood and he definitely not want to get involved in their shit, so he backed off since it"s not Yenn who"s right there. Whoever that dude with Byul is, he wasn"t curious, not in his cousin"s private life since he has his own and he really don"t care about any other's life except Yenn and his of course, ahem.
Before that, where is he anyway?
He looked around, intending to asked Elena about his whereabouts but he suddenly saw Yenn running back toward the camp. He was stupefied when he saw everyone awake. He went beside Ivis and Elena then helped with the breakfast preparations. Jiwoon shook his head, he really thought Yenn suddenly disappeared and everyone doesn"t care but it seems like he was just out for a walk in the woods.
They all helped in preparing breakfast and had a small talk about what they"re gonna do next. They planned to go at the back of the island today since some of them was curious about the other side of the island, they want to see what kind of scenery was in there and planned to camp around for their second night.
Although everything was going smoothly and the preparations are done and they"re just readying to go there, the weather seems to disagree with them and suddenly had a pitter-patter of rains which made everyone rush back to the house, as the rain poured heavily when they"re on their way.
The rain clouded the paths but they still made it to the house safely as they got soaked in rainwater and gone freezing because of the cold. They all ran to the corner side of the room to change their wet clothes and put on a dry one before going upstairs to bath.
Since, they don"t want the clothes to dripped over the place and would have to painstakingly clean up afterwards, they changed and put the wet ones on a plastic bag before going upstairs.
Jiwoon finished fixing his own and finally followed the others upstairs. When he reached the seventh floor, slightly exhausted and drained because of the hellish steps of stairs, he went to the bathroom and opened the heater to fill the bathtub with hot water.
Afterwards, he test the temperature with his fingers and got burned a bit. He stopped the water flow and aiming to wait for the water to cool down a bit but then he just closed the heater and filled the bathtub with cool water and finally soaked himself in.
He leaned on the edge of the bathtub and relaxed.
After a while, he heard footsteps near the bathroom door and guess it"s probably Yenn who just got back. Yenn opened the door, walking himself inside with a towel on his waist.
Yenn glanced at him and sighed. "Are you done?—shit it"s too cold!" he shivered and hugged his arms together in front of him.
"You can hop in here, you know"
He scoot over the side of the tub and give Yenn a bit of space to sit in his knees like him. Yenn agape and finally nodded, also welcoming himself in the little space of the tub and finally sat down in front of him. He really can"t take the cold so he just made his way in. Not caring about what Jiwoon might say or make fun about him.
"Better?" Jiwoon asked looking at his quite fidgety figure.
"Yeah, just a bit tight in here, can you scoot over there a bit more?" he said wriggling his body in an uncomfortable position.
"I can"t, it"s already the edge, or you can sit here and lean to me if you"re comfortable with that" Jiwoon point his fingers in his seat then chuckled as he surrender his hands up in helplessness. The tub is small and they have no choice but to use that position to fit themselves in a comfortable pose. Although he"s worried that Yenn might curse him again, they really have no other choice okay and he still don"t want to go out because he just soaked himself in too!
"The hell? Then move over here and lean to me, I"m sure you"ll get funny ideas when I sit in front of you."
"Kay"
Jiwoon shrugged his shoulders, he knew it, he"ll curse him like that. At least, he didn"t kicked him or slapped him again. He shifted in his position and finally sat between Yenn"s leg, his back facing him and his arms were both resting in the tub. Wait, this is a bit...'
"You sure about this?" he moved between Yenn"s leg, quite uneasy in his current position. They look like the parent was sitting between the child"s legs. A really disturbing sight. —And goddamn uncomfortable in his side.
"Damn, how can you be more built than me? You"re totally blocking my sight" Yenn sighed in his back, feeling the hot breathe brushed over his skin, jolting him a bit. It really is uncomfortable!
"Well, we could shift positions. You know? It"s quite—"
"Just stay still, you fucker"
Yenn"s arms snaked around his waist hugging him tight. "You really look like a bear when your back is facing me" he leaned his face on his back as they both had the very first moment of silence with them together like this. Jiwoon stiffened up in his seat, he didn"t expect something like this! He sighed and finally relaxed although his heart was still beating unmistakably fast. It"s all good. "Let me rest a bit" he heard Yenn whisper in his ear then he finally settled his cheek in his back, closing his eyes while hugging Jiwoon tight. He must be tired running earlier, after all they"ve been running since they were in the forest then they even walked upstairs with those never-ending steps. He sighed softly, his lips curved into a smile when he thought about how Yenn took them all without passing out on the staircase.
Well, you could just leaned on me for everything...'
