Chapter 51

Jiwoon caught a glimpse of Yenn going upstairs. He sighed and went back to where he was from and waited for Yenn to disappear on his sight before going back again. He was planning to go down currently and it happened to be a bad timing to bump into Yenn right now. He was really hungry...
Avoiding and ignoring Yenn every time he was seen by him. It has evolved into an act of reflex and unexpectedly became a habit for his dilapidated self. He"s been doing this for how many days now and luckily he"s beginning to forget about the pain.
Staying away from Yenn made him feel better but at the same time, he felt so empty inside. At least, it was better than before. The burden and pain felt much lighter than when he was with Yenn. He leaned over the wall and observed the footsteps that were tapping lightly on the floor.
It was too silent that he could hear his heart along with those uneven steps. It appears like Yenn was looking for something or someone which kinda bothered him a bit. He glanced at his side and saw that Yenn was already on the floor that he was currently in. The footsteps were getting louder and nearer to his position. He must be going next to the stair.
He peeked at the crevice of the door and saw Yenn looking around and turning his head from left to right. He really is looking for something. He sighed and touch his temple, looking at Yenn in a narrow space really made him dizzy. He was currently hiding behind an open door. It was an unfamiliar room that he chose to hide a bit. He was hungry but he get the feeling that he was being seek out. It certainly felt like Yenn was specifically looking for him. Why though? He want to know that but he just couldn"t think of any valid reason for it.
Maybe, Yenn was up to something again. No, he must be out of his mind and just hungry so he"s thinking too much. Damn he want to go out and just walk away casually but for some reason, he couldn"t move away from his feet. It feels like he was nailed on that certain spot and it was so troubling.
He don"t know if he would be laughing or crying in this situation but it was very ridiculous. Why is he hiding? Yenn isn"t looking for him right and why would he felt bothered by it anyway. It"s so damn hilarious but he just stayed still. He knew Yenn would went pass him and he could move away silently but—
Yenn inched closer to the wall he"s leaning to. It was dark in his current position so it feels like Yenn was feeling the walls up in a dark tunnel. He was hiding through the crevice of the open door. It was the only hiding spot and he could just closed it off but he didn"t. He"s way too wary of that person"s presence.
It was like he was in a horror movie and he was the last victim while Yenn was the killer searching for him to finish off the story. He chortled a bit when he realized that.
Yenn stopped and look at his direction— it made him stiffened up on his spot. Yenn walked closer and Jiwoon felt that he was out of breath. He really stopped breathing but his heart was rapidly banging his chest because of the panic. Yenn stopped half a meter away from his position and looked carefully.
Yenn stared at him—Yenn stared at the darkness behind the door which Jiwoon was hiding unmoved. It took Yenn long enough to notice that it was just plain darkness and finally moved away and went to look another places.
Jiwoon exhaled and he could feel his breathing back. What the hell was that? He really stopped breathing that time huh. The fuck did he just survive the killer—ahem Yenn. It feels like he managed to be safe somehow. Damn he did felt threatened for a moment there but—
Was he really looking for him? Why would he? It made him confused and disturbed.
He slumped down the floor and the door creaked a bit and it was followed with loud footsteps after that. He sighed and shook his head then he felt someone opened the door wide and it slammed into his knees. The impact and pain of that jolted his body and made him look up.
He glanced up and there he was smiling so creepily back at him. W—wha?
His golden eyes were fixated on him and he was totally smiling so wide that it made his body stiffened up. What was that? He hasn"t seen Yenn smile like that. Not in a moment nor a chance he had caught that kind of smile. It was terrifying and—
"Found you..."

Yenn snickered at him and it was a creepy laugh that ring onto his ears repeatedly—after saying that unsettling words. It gave him goosebumps. Was he really here to take his life? Oh God please no!

His mind was suddenly filled with ridiculous assumption and he totally became a stone right there on the spot.
Yenn looked at the person who was frozen in shock. He finally felt joyous after searching for him all around the house all day so he couldn"t stop smiling for that effort he put on to. He leaned down and looked at Jiwoon"s face, it was filled with sweat and he shortly realized that Jiwoon was totally out.
He really passed out.
