The Finality

Can you believe him right now, how is any of this my fault? “ Excuse me old man, but you were the one that made that stupid ass bet. You are also the one that gave away the company that you built from the ground up. This has nothing to do with anyone else but you and that old man sitting next to you.” But, I didn’t stop there
But, I didn’t stop there. “ First I am going to overlook the fact that you knew about my birth, but chose to ignore me and my mother for all those years. You were the one who gave your companies’ shares away, because of your arrogance and narcissistic behavior. Neither of you could’ve possibly known that your grandchildren would agree to participate in something so ludicrous. Yet you still chose to willfully make a stupid bet knowing fully well the impact it could have on your families.
Another thing is you don’t have thirty percent of the shares left. You will only have five percent and so does Mr Holloway, your wifes owns twenty percent each remember?. Or did you forget that bit of information? Oh I’ve to make a correction, I own twenty five percent and Mrs Holloway owns the other twenty five percent.” Justin and his father both asked at the same time, “ Is that true mom? You really own twenty five percent of the company? Why didn’t you say anything about it before? Why would you live with his dictatorship behavior when you’re also an equal owner of the company?” Justin's father was really upset with Mrs Holloway for putting up with his fathers bullshit all these years. “ What the fuck do you mean, you own twenty five of my company?” Old man Cole yelled, slamming his fist into the table. On top of being senile he is also going deaf apparently.
I had this wicked grin on my face “ You heard me or do you need to get your ears checked?” I asked him while still grinning at him. He turned and looked at grandma and pointed his finger “ Who the fuck told you, you could give away my company’s shares to the ungrateful brat?” He seriously doesn't know when to quit. “ If you don’t sit down and stop talking to mom like that, I swear to god..” my father suddenly said to his old man. “How about this, why don’t I buy the five percent shares you’ve left and that way you can retire somewhere warm like Jamaica.” He was so mad that he actually tried to jump over the table at me.
His lawyer had to hold him back, while I was still sitting in my seat laughing at him. “ That was for calling my mother a homewrecker and me a bastard. The sooner you calm down and accept the fact that you’re not in charge of other people's lives, the better it will be for you. Plus, I don’t want you’ve an heart attack. At least not yet!” He was so red at this point and started grunting like an angry bear, I really thought he might end up in the hospital. All of a sudden Mr Green handed the old man a brown envelope with a straight face. “ what the fuck is this?” the old man yelled, while opening it. He really has no respect for other people. All the color drained from his face when he saw what was inside the envelope. He dropped the papers on the table, stood up and pointed at grandma and walked out of the room without saying a word.
His lawyer took up the papers, looked at them and raised his eyebrow at my grandma and went after his client. I looked at grandma to ensure she was okay and she smiled at me “ I gave him divorce papers. I am tired and I want to start a fresh new life, without the drama” I got up and gave her a hug “ I love you grandma. Everything will be fine.” My dad joined us in the hug. We stayed like that for a minute or so then sat back down. The Holloways were having some arguments of their own. Mr Townson turned his attention to the Holloways lawyer and said “ based on my client's refusal to participate in this arranged marriage, we should’ve no more meetings regarding this matter. My client will not change her mind and she is already engaged to Mr Grant, so to keep having these meetings is pointless. Please advise your clients to close this matter. If they refuse then we will see them in court, because we will not attend another one of these meetings. Thank you all for your time.” he bowed his head slightly, then started packing up his stuff and we all left the room together.
