The Obsession Begins
I shook my head thinking wow, what stupidity “ she and her friends hated me, because the football team was always hanging out at my house. My brother was on the team and he and the boys were best of friends. So, because I got to spend a lot of time with the football team, she and the cheerleading squad hated me.” I gave her this are you kidding me look and she nodded. “ Did they ever bully you?” I asked and she smiled “ They cornered me in the girls locker room once threatening me to stay away from their man. I thought the whole thing was funny, because those boys didn’t even notice me back then. I was just Mark's little flat chested sister in their eyes.
When I laughed at them Heather pushed me hard into the wall and I fell and they all laughed at me.” I felt like I was going to explode when she told me that. “ When I got home that day Mark came to my room and asked me if I was okay. Turns out one of the other girls that was in the locker room at the time told him what happened and he was upset.” I was thinking how messed up life can be sometimes, because we were having a great time and then those bitches try to ruin it. She continued “ He confronted them at practice and told them never to come near me again or they make them pay. He was always protecting me, which is one of the reasons I loved him so much.” she said and winked at me with a smile.
We entered Tiffany's jewelry store. She was looking for a present for her mother’s upcoming birthday. I love this store. The diamonds here were also so beautiful, I just love looking at them. She found this three carat beautiful yellow diamond heart pendant and white gold necklace. We left the store and she continued her store “ After that day the girls didn’t bother me again, but they would bully my friends. When they saw me in the hallways at school they would make snide remarks about my looks or smell. I would ignore them by not having any reactions to their comments. Mark had told me to let him know if any of them touched or spoke to me directly again, so I know they were frustrated, because they really couldn’t do anything to me. I really hated those girls back then, their air of superiority disgusted everyone.”
It still amazed me how petty and vindictive some people can be for no good reason. “ Were Heather and Kyle actually dating at the time?” I asked her out of curiosity. “ No, not really. They went on one date the following weekend after the party, but I heard him telling my brother and Thomas that she was obnoxious, shallow and cocky. He said he would rather eat nails than go on another date with her.” I burst out laughing “ So, why was she bullying other people and claiming him as hers? That makes no sense?” I said. She nodded and said “ maybe she figured if she scared away all the other girls, he would have no choice but to date her. That was their last year in middle school and he ignored her for the rest that year.” Well, at least we can’t say she is a quitter, because she refuses to give up.
We got tired and decided to head to Lisa’s house to relax a little, before our dinner meeting later. I text Ethan and let him know that I would spend the night at Lisa and I will be home in the morning. We were in Lisa’s room picking out outfits for later and I asked “ Did they start dating in high school?” I found the story interesting, plus it is also giving me insight on what kind of person Kyle was. “ No, he still ignored her. At one of the team's away games, he met a girl from the school they were playing against and they started dating. When Heather found out she lost her shit and she and her friends started to bully the girl online. One weekend Thomas, Kyle and Mark were hanging out at my house and he started complaining about what Heather was doing to his girlfriend.”
At this point I was thinking Heather was straight out of a Steven King movie, the bitch was crazy. “ Kyle said his girlfriend wasn’t scared or cared about the stupid things Heather and her friends were saying online. He was still upset, because he had no interest in Heather, yet she kept bothering his girlfriend. He felt guilty, because his girlfriend is getting bullied, because Heather was obsessed with him. He planned to confront at school the following Monday, he was sick of her shit. By now they were in the tenth grade and it was my freshman year at the high school. I rode to school with my brother that Monday morning and when we got into the parking lot, Heather and her friends had just pulled up as well. Kyle and Thomas always rode together and they were the last to pull into the parking lot. Kyle got out of his jeep and walked directly to Heather and her gang of girls.”
