Chapter 19

"Are you sure? Or are you just acting, but the truth is that you two are the only ones going out?" Alondra asked solemnly.
Daisy's eyes enlarged.
"Why did you think of that? Of course, I'm telling the truth that he wants to take you out too; if you want, let's call him and tell him I'm not lying," Daisy responded.

"No need. I thought that's why I feel like an outcast when I think about it. It doesn't seem like a good idea that I go. Isn't that a date?" Alondra asked, her face solemn.

"What are you talking about, Alondra? Kazmer never asked me out for a date," Daisy responded defensively.

"I think you're being too defensive? I'm just asking," answered Alondra.
"Of course, I need to defend myself because I was taken aback by your question. He just wants to go out together with us and you are thinking badly of him." Daisy said and was about to hit her with a plate.
"Shit! That hurts. Why are you hurting me? My question is not that bad. Is it forbidden for both singles to date? Is Kazmer single?" Alondra asked.
"I don't know, Alondra. I'm assuming too much if I think of Kazmer inviting me as a date if you're not coming?" Daisy said.
"If there is ever a date then I just made an excuse to be with you. What should I do then? Be a referee? And wait for when you are done talking?" Alondra said.
"Is that a problem? Look for a date there too." Daisy replied smiling.
Lark frowned. Daisy's suggestion was not good. So he shut up before the topic diverted to him.
"Are you coming?" asked Daisy.
"I don't know. I'll think about it first," answered Alondra.
"If yes, I will find you a date."
"Damn you! Don't you dare, Daisy?" Alondra shouted at Daisy as she walked out the door.

Daisy returned to her work after Daisy had left. She should continue to work hard because she intends to say goodbye and visit them in the province, if only for a day. Perhaps she won't accompany Daisy out of town tonight. It would be embarrassing if she became the two's bodyguard. Her dirty clothes are piling up, so she's going to do laundry. Daisy deserves thanks because she already has a lot of clothes. When she returns to the province, she plans to bring all of the clothes Daisy gave her so that she can give them to Mathilde and her mother. She didn't wear all the clothes that Daisy gave her.
She also wants her mother, sister, and father to wear new clothes. Little by little, she will be able to purchase everything they require. When the afternoon arrived. Alondra went out first and didn't wait for Daisy to pick her up because she needed to use the restroom right away. She removed her apron. And went outside to walk to their house. She rushed into the toilet as soon as she opened the door. Maybe she'll cook dinner for them again because Daisy doing it all the time would be too embarrassing. She will also wash Daisy's dirty clothes so she will not have to do so again. As she sat on top of the bowl, she pondered what else she could do when she left alone later.   When Alondra saw Daisy's reaction earlier when she mentioned a date word, she smiled. What should she think if a man invites a woman outside for a walk? As a result, it's understandable. Alondra has learned a lot of things she should avoid in an instant.
After a few minutes of staying in the toilet, Alondra decided to leave, and Daisy followed her into their room.
Daisy asked as she lay down on the bed, "I thought so; you're already her."
"I came home earlier because the toilet was calling," Alondra replied, laughing.

"My back hurts like it's broken from bending over. When will we become wealthy? It's like it'll make our lives easier," Daisy said as she stroked her waist.

"Foreigners are the only solution to poverty," Alondra laughed.

"Really? Those people are smart these days; they don't hit on women if they think only after their money," Daisy responded.

"Of course. Because it's difficult to invest love, especially money, after everything has gone wrong," Alondra replied as she dressed.

"Reality is always like that. You can't stop things from the possible consequences of everything. Why do you know such things?" Daisy asked him.
"Which?"
"About love, life, and everything," Daisy said and started getting dressed for her walk with Kazmer.
Alondra laughed.

"It's not because you didn't finish school that you don't know anything, Daisy. That was a common problem even when we were young," Alondra replied as she folded her dirty clothes and placed them in the laundry basket.
"Silly. I'm not saying you don't know anything. You were quiet when you first came here, which is why you're talking so much now," Daisy replied, laughing.
"I'm really quiet; I'm just observing before speaking; because we're so comfortable with each other, it's okay to talk; because in the province, we're too busy looking for money, so I don't have time to talk and find friends," Alondra explained.

"I see that you learn quickly and are intelligent; if you have the opportunity and can save a lot of money, go back to school; if you finish college, your salary will be even higher just in case," Daisy said as she began applying make-up to her face.
"That's the plan, too, which is why I prefer that my sister goes to school first. I know that she is weak more when things are difficult. Maybe I endure not eating all day and can still do it, but that girl can't. That's why I persevered to get out of the city because it was for her," Alondra replied.

"You're a good sister."
"Siblings should love each other and not fight," Alondra answered as she carried her laundry basket full of dirty clothes.
"Where are you going?" Daisy asked as she left the room.
"Do laundry."
"We have a walk today. Won't you come with me?" asked Daisy carrying her sling bag.
"Can I just not go with you? I don't want to be a keeper there. Maybe next time. When I have a boyfriend." Alondra answered while laughing.
"Silly. We go out as a friend, not lovers. You think too far ahead. I only consider him a friend and nothing else. That's it." Daisy replied.
"Whatever. Everything starts with being friends. So don't talk about the ending. I'll find out that you're in a relationship the next day. Don't you have any plans to find your son's father?"
"Will anyone accept a single mother like me?" Daisy said.
"Of course. If there are men who cheat in this day and age, there are at least some sane ones left," answered Alondra.
He and Daisy left the room together.
"Are you not coming?"
"Not anymore. I'll just wash my dirty clothes," answered Alondra.
"Okay."
"Come with me to the front of the Coffee shop first. I don't have anyone to wait there in case Mr. Kazmer isn't there yet," said Daisy.
"Okay."

Alondra first placed her basket in the bathroom near the kitchen and went out. She and Daisy went out the gate together.
"Just lock the door after I leave. If anyone knocks, ask who it is before you open the door." Daisy reminded him.
"Yes."
They got out and were now standing in front of the Coffee shop waiting for Kazmer.

A red car pulled in front of them a few minutes later. Because it's still very shiny, it's either new or recently used. This man was extremely wealthy because the car they were riding in previously was black. Kazmer looked out the window as it opened. Alondra didn't even blink at him. This man looks great with a clean shave. The beard that was wrapped around its mouth has vanished. He smiled at them, revealing his perfectly even white teeth. Daisy was silent on the side, she noticed.

"Good evening, girls," Kazmer said and looked at Daisy with a sweet smile.
"Good evening," answered Alondra.
"Since Daisy texted me that you won't be coming, I just bought you a box of pizza and a box of cake. And two milk teas," he said and gave it to her.
"It's a shame. I hope you don't buy any more." Alondra answered as she carried what Kazmer gave her.
"It's okay. Daisy mentioned that you're going to do laundry, so you need some snacks afterward." Kazmer replied with a smile.
"Thank you."
Kazmer was looking at Daisy.
"Let's go, babe," Kazmer said.
Daisy held her by the waist and entered the car.
"Take care, Alondra," Kazmer said.
"I will."
Alondra went inside after Daisy and Kazmer had left. She smiled as she remembered what Kazmer had told Daisy. Babe is a sweet nickname for a couple. When she entered, she locked the gate. And she walked right into the house. And securely shut the door. She placed the dessert she had brought in the refrigerator. And went into the bathroom. She will eat later after she has washed all of her dirty clothes, including Daisy's. Because she puts food first. She was unable to complete the laundry. Because her body is already heavy, she will simply sleep. The silence of the entire house, regardless of what she heard outside. She turned on the faucet and poured a large amount of water into the basin. She has expressed a desire to return to their province in recent days. She misses her parents and Mathilde terribly.

Leandre left the company at seven o'clock in the evening. He had no idea he had fallen asleep on the couch. He shook his head, knowing that if he continued to drink, his name on the birth certificate would be removed and replaced with another document. He left his office while wearing his office long sleeves. The entire company is quiet, but the surroundings are bright because he instructed all of his employees to leave all of the lights on when they leave for the day. He was alone in the building's hallway, wearing only his office shoes, and the only noise he heard was his footsteps. The only person outside was the cheerful guard.

He made a room for the security guard downstairs near the parking lot so that someone could keep an eye on the business. He gave him money to go shopping. He even provided the food. Even uniforms and medicines in case he becomes ill. At the end of the month, it has groceries. His assistance to him is insignificant in comparison to his service to him. It's no laughing matter to be awake for twenty-four hours and still be sleep deprived.

"What is it for, sir?" the security guard asked.

"That's your pocket money," he replied with a smile.

"That's your pocket money, he replied with a smile.
"You've helped me too much and you can't give anymore because your company pays me a lot, sir. I can't take this anymore."

"I'm going home, don't think about what I gave you, and be careful here, he says.

"Go ahead, sir, but take care as well."

Leandre opened his car but had not gotten in when he saw Uncle Lazaro waving at him on the side of the highway. His brow furrowed. Why what is that man doing there? So he got into his car and drove it near Uncle Lazaro. He opened the window of his car.
"Hi, Uncle Lazaro. What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I meant to wait for you here. Why did you just come home now?" Uncle Lazaro asked.

"I fell asleep at the office. I got drunk yesterday. My friend and I were drinking. Where are we going?" asked Leandre.

"Can I hang out at your house? My house is quiet. It's like a haunted house with no one living there." Uncle Lazaro answered with a laugh.

"Come with me to mom's house. I'm going home there."

"Great." Uncle Lazaro said smiling as if he was still happy to see his mother again even though his mother's treatment of him was so rude.
