Chapter 33

"Somewhere," Leandre answered briefly.
That secret will be safer if his answer is short because Emerald is very annoying. She won't stop until he tells the complete detail.
His eyebrows rose.
"Where is that somewhere? Why are you happy now? Is the place you went to nice? Your smiles made me curious." Emerald said.
"Stop right there. Where are they?" Leandre asked seeing only Emerald inside the house.
"I'm here alone again now. Geo is outside with Uncle Lazaro with mommy Lucille and Cheska." Emerald replied.
"Why don't you come?"
"I don't feel it. Besides, I'm annoyed because of your ex-wife. She's just pretending to be nice, but underneath is a bad attitude." Emerald replied, frowning.
"Why? Did she do something to you?"
"She fought with me because she said I wasn't telling the truth about where you were. She seems to have plans to follow you wherever you go. So toxic bitch. So we fought, she slapped me and I poked her nose on the marble floor. What a great pretender she is. She thinks that by slapping me she will be able to come back here to mommy's house, don't count on it because I will make her bald." Emerald answered in an angry voice.
Leandre just shook his head. So his assumptions were right. Jade is just pretending to be nice. So now he regrets why she is part of his family.
"I'm sorry, sister," Leandre said sadly to Emerald.
"No need for you to feel sorry. It was that woman who apologized to me. Why is fate so playful when you are so kind that you can marry a bitch." Emerald said with a snort.
Leandre didn't comment anymore but he said goodbye to Emerald and that he went to his room to rest and sleep. Because when the night comes, he will go to Alondra at the bar and he will invite her out and they will wander around the city. Leandre lay down and closed his eyes. He woke up at eight in the evening. He quickly got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom to take a shower. After a few minutes, he came out of the bathroom while wiping his wet body with a towel. He looked for something he could wear that would make him look presentable. He put on the clothes he had chosen and applied perfume all over his body. He laughed in his mind because he seemed to be bathed in perfume from what he was doing. He looked like a teenager who was too excited about their first date. Then he hurried down the stairs and ran the distance to the front door
"Where are you going?" asked his mom who was behind him.
"I'm going for a date," Leandre answered but he didn't look at his mom's whereabouts.
"Go ahead."
He immediately got into his car and drove away. He was very excited to see Alondra again. That's why he was disappointed because when he arrived at the bar house and he talked to its handler. It's not available. She sneered in annoyance at the thought of another man holding her and savoring her slim body. Now he will think of a way to help get it out of this place. It's nine o'clock at night but Alondra still doesn't go to the room where they first met. He stood up and started walking. He doesn't know his feelings. He is hurt and angry with himself about why he feels this way now. He has no right to claim Alondra to be his because they have no relationship. Right at eleven o'clock at night, the door suddenly opened and he saw Alondra's tired face. So for reasons unknown to him, he grabbed her lips with a kiss and locked the door at the same time. She protested as if she was hurt by what he was doing but she didn't let him go. Instead, he kissed her hard on the lips as if she couldn't breathe.
"Hmmm. I'm in pain. Let me go." Alondra said in a low voice but tried to get away from him.
But he didn't budge, instead, he laid her down on the couch and undressed her while his lips were on her neck. When he took off her entire cover, he saw her beautiful body. She wanted to remove the traces of kisses from any man who was her customer today. He also took off his clothes including pants and underwear while Alondra looked at him like she was mad but he didn't care anymore because he only felt lust and desire compared to her anger towards him. He placed her on top of her and he started kissing her neck softly down to the collarbone he played with her left nipple with his tongue while one of his hands stroked one of her breasts.
"Ahh...Ahh...Leandre." a soft moan came into Alondra's mouth that made him smile.
He knows that her anger is gone. Leandre plays with Alondra's nipples again and he sucks them while squeezing then he caresses her skin from top to toe making sure all her nerve endings are on fire with his touch. It was moving as he kissed her whole body. But Leandre wanted to explode with the sorbet of his beautiful feeling so he opened Alondra's legs and thrust inside her at first it was still weak but eventually, their movements became faster and faster until they reached the climax. He lay on top of Alondra while he could hear the speed of her heart beating even though he felt very tired she wiped the sweat that was dripping from her face and he kissed her on the face down to the nose and on the lips then he left the surface and lay down next to her and hugged her.
Leandre is wide awake while Alondra is very sleepy next to him because he notices that she is always tired from her work. For him, this is the best feeling he's experienced so far they both hug each other on top of the couch naked even though his legs are crossed. He won't think that he sinned in their marriage because Jade was the one who cheated first, he didn't do it to have sex with another woman to get even with Jade, but he feels different when Alondra is with him. She moved next to him and slowly got up so that Leandre got up as well.
"What's wrong? Did something hurt you? I'm sorry. I was just shocked by what I did." Leandre apologized.
"It's okay. I didn't receive customers tonight. I take care of something." Alondra said.
A reason for Leandre to breathe easy but he was curious about whatever it was he was dealing with. He felt guilty because he seemed to increase her tiredness.
"Let's get dressed," he said and sat on the couch and leaned back with his eyes closed.
Leandre hurriedly put on his scattered clothes and approached Alondra as he carried her clothes.
"I'm going to dress you."
"Yes please."
A few minutes later he finished dressing Alondra.
"Shall we go out now? Madam Gretchen told me that you said goodbye to her and gave her money. You don't have to do that."
Leandre's jaw clenched.
"I'm not going to let those stupid men tire of your body in these rooms. Even if I run out of money," answered Leandre.
Alondra was stunned by Leandre's outburst earlier when she entered this room. He was acting like a jealous husband or a boyfriend earlier. Maybe he thinks she has a lot of customers, so she took a long time to come here. His reactions make her happy that she hopes that he also has feelings for her but it's embarrassing if they have a relationship and this is her job while Leandre is a rich and well-known businessman so she doesn't want people who know him to laugh at him for just looking a woman to be a girlfriend in the trash But she only feels more now. That's why she was late when she went to Leandre earlier because she was with them in the province. After all, Mathilde called that her father was hospitalized because he had cancer which they only now knew. She cries a lot because she doesn't want to lose their father to them now that their lives are okay. And what made Alondra's world crumble is that she needs a large amount of money for the operation but she does not know where she will get such a large amount of money. And it was said that her savings for the construction of their house have been spent and now it is almost finished. Then came the big blow in their lives. She like to faint as she looked at Leandre. She didn't think that something would happen to the two of them just now. And he didn't use protection, especially since she didn't take contraceptives. Alondra hopes her problems will not increase. Even though she is in the middle of a problem now, she still smiles when she sees such a handsome face. Alondra stood up slowly because her hip had been hurting. Only one man has been with her now but why doesn't she seem to be able to walk properly? She saw that Leandre was alarmed when he saw her get up and go out.
"Where are you going?" he asked.
"I'm just going to get dressed. Wait for me here." Alondra answered with a wide smile.
"Hurry up. Don't make me wait," he said in an angry tone.
"Really? After what happened to us, you're going to treat me like that?" Alondra raised her eyebrows, causing Leandre to bow.
"I'm sorry."
So Alondra kissed him before going out the door. She was walking on the highway as if she was out of her senses, her mind was running back to her father on how she could treat him. She immediately entered the room and got dressed. She took a short shower first to remove her sweat.

Alondra wore a simple outfit and paired it with plain brown doll shoes. She was walking down the hallway slowly. She didn't say goodbye to Dianne and the girls because they were busy with their work again. She saw Leandre walking towards her when the two of them were close together he suddenly put his arms around her and kissed her on the top of the head. Alondra smiled. This man is so sweet. The woman who will soon become his wife is lucky. While she was walking with Leandre, her brain was flying or maybe she was left with them in the province. Half an hour later the car was running along the city. She just leaned on the car seat and didn't even ask where they were going. Her heart, body, mind, and soul were overly drained. She wanted to cry and swear out of pity for her father. She didn't realize that she had fallen asleep so the shake on her arm woke her up. She saw Leandre's smiling face outside the car.
"Get out of there. We are already here."
Leandre opened the car door for her. Alondra looked around. They are in a hotel. She was held by Leandre's elbow going inside. And a waiter was extending his hands to indicate where their table would be. The place is nice and relaxing. But Alondra knows that this place is too expensive. She wanted to ask how many women Leandre had brought to this kind of place because she had no rights. She wants to impress on her mind that she is just an escort girl who will accompany a customer anywhere in exchange for money. So she can't be assuming. Then two waiters brought a tray with only their order and placed it in front of them. Alondra frowned because of the amount of food in front of her.
"Can we use it all up?" Alondra asked.
"Yes. I'm very hungry after what we did earlier," answered Leandre looking at her intently as if he intended to eat her whole.
Alondra suddenly bowed down because her cheeks were reddened with shame.
"Eat now. There might be a second round later." Leandre said with a wink at her.
"Shut up! You're spreading your chatter here." Alondra scolded.
"I'm sorry. I can't stop my crush on you." Leandre replied, and put food on her plate.
"You don't have to be a gentleman because no matter what you do, there will be no more because my body is already sick," Alondra complained.
Reason for Leandre to laugh. An hour later they finished eating. So Leandre rented a room for the two of them. Also includes a few glasses of beer to relieve sleepiness. The two of them are now facing each other on the couch with each carrying a bottle of beer. Alondra was shaking her head when she saw that Leandre was too drunk. He kissed her first before falling asleep on the bed because he was so drunk. He told her before he passed out to wait for him to wake up but she didn't know if he could do it because now she was going to apologize to him. Alondra won't do it but she didn't have a choice. I hope she won't be mad at him if she finds out what he's going to do. She approached Leandre and groped in his pocket, looking for where his wallet was. After a few minutes of searching, she found it and looked inside. And her eyes widened because she saw a folded check that was exactly the amount to pay for her father's surgery. Undoubtedly he took it and put his wallet back in Leandre's pocket and at the last moment he kissed him on the lips and whispered,
"I'm sorry."
And she frowned and quickly left the hotel and looked for a taxi to take her home to the bar house. Tomorrow morning she will say goodbye to go home to the province for her father. It's because the operation is tomorrow and they say there is no other time for the operation if she can't find the money to pay. While she was riding in the taxi, she stroked her forehead. She did something terrible that she will regret but her father is more important in her life. When it comes to her family, she is willing to tarnish her character just to save one of them. Her soul has been pledged to satan for a long time so she will no longer be afraid to burn her soul in the fire.
After she paid, she immediately entered the house and found that her colleagues were already asleep. Only Dianne has not finished her work yet. She immediately lay down on her bed to sleep but she didn't because she is guilty for what she did. But she preferred to close her eyes to at least get some sleep. But Leandre's smiling face and eyes filled with love appeared in her mind.

Alondra did not realize that her tears suddenly fell. She immediately wiped it off. She wanted to cry immediately and regret what she had done. She covered herself with a blanket so that she could fall asleep immediately.
The next day, Leandre woke up with only a blanket to hug him. He stood up from the bed and looked for Alondra but he couldn't see her. He frowned as to why she always left without letting him know. As he entered the bathroom, his wallet fell to the floor. He took it and looked at it. His brow furrowed when he saw that his folded check was no longer inside his wallet. He was thinking about where it fell but it was probably nowhere because he saw it earlier when he and Alondra were eating. He looked under the bed or on the side and the sheets and pillows might have been tucked in because he was drunk. But he couldn't see anything. He didn't want to think about anything but he thought Alondra might have taken it. He didn't want to accuse her because he didn't have any evidence but they were the only two in the room. If she needs money, he can give it to her, just don't take it that he doesn't know. He was very disappointed yet he wanted to hear her side as well so after he left here and she would go to Alondra.
But all his questions were answered when the bank called him saying a certain name Alondra was changed to cash his million money from a check under his name. Leandre sat down and rubbed his senses. He could not fully imagine that Alondra could betray him in the name of money, if he has a problem, he can tell him that he is willing to help if necessary because it is also important to him, never to steal it. Good thing he was the victim and not someone else. He checked out of the hotel and immediately got into the car and drove away. He did not understand his feelings. He was robbed by a woman he learned he wanted to like but in the end, he didn't. Now he realizes that all women are cheaters. He reached the bar house and asked inside the house where Alondra stayed when her colleagues said that she left and that they did not know where she went. Leaning his shoulders, Leandre got out and entered his car. Once he was happy, he suddenly disappeared. He did nothing but go back to his mommy's house and rest. It was a month ago when Alondra found out that her father's operation was successful, so she was overjoyed, but she suddenly felt sad because she knew that she was going to avoid Leandre. And she hopes that their paths will never cross. And Madam Gretchen called her that she has to go back to work even if she doesn't want to, she has to be strong because it's her fault what's happening. She took a lot of money so she will pay for whatever she decided. The house she was building was finished so they were comfortable. Her father is still resting at their house and has not yet returned to selling in the market. She is now outside the house. Just looking away while thinking a lot. Mathilde stood beside her.
"Do you have a problem, sister?" Mathilde asked.
"Nothing. I need to go back to the city tomorrow morning." Alondra answered with a forced smile as she looked at Mathilde.
"We thank you because you made a way to connect father's life. I'm not ready to lose him from us. It's too early." Mathilde said.
"Even me. I'm afraid of what might happen to him if he doesn't get surgery right away," answered Alondra.
But she is sad because she was able to rob the man she has learned to love in their short-period moment of togetherness. But she can't do anything but she has no regrets because her father was saved.
