Chapter 35
"Thank you for helping my father. Even if I did it the wrong way. And for leaving my friends in that hellish place. I will do everything no matter what." Alondra said.
Leandre didn't say a word anymore.
"Who brought me here? He scared me too much." Alondra said.
"Why? What did Nicholas do to you?"
"Nothing. It's just that, we don't know each other and he suddenly asked me to go with him, who wouldn't be afraid of that?" answered Alondra.
Leandre laughs.
"I'm sorry if you felt scared. When he told you directly I knew you would run." Leandre answered with a laugh.
"Of course I am. Who wants to be imprisoned," answered Alondra.
"Because. You took it without telling me. You can ask and I'll give it to you. So you'll need it, so you better agree to be my woman." Leandre answered and hugged Alondra.
"Do I have a choice?" only Alondra said.
"No. You're too lucky for me. You're handsome and rich." Leandre said and kissed Alondra on the lips.
Thank goodness Alondra just smiled and didn't slap him or anything. He was changing, he was so clingy around this woman he had only recently discovered in himself.
"I'm not after your money, but as long as your life is secure, it's okay. If you're poor, you'll just go into an ugly job and do something bad for others, as I did. Life is so cruel," Alondra replied.
"Everything will be fine; forget what happened; I will take care of giving you money to meet your family's needs," Leandre replied.
"Thank you; I will always take care of you and cook for you," Alondra said.
"Good."
"Can I sleep first? My body is too tired." Alondra said.
"Sure."
So he led Alondra up the stairs. As they both held hands.
shook hands
"Whose home is this?" Alondra asked.
"I bought a vacation house that is far from the city, so you have a lot of big trees that you can see on the way here," Leandre explained.
"Yes, even though I was scared earlier, I was able to look around," Alondra replied, wrapping her arms around him.
That's why Leandre was ecstatic.
They entered the room, and Alondra sat on the bed, wrapped in a blanket.
"Are you not changing your clothes?" he asked.
"Perhaps not."
"Get dressed first because your back and entire body are wet from sweat," Leandre advised.
"That's fine."
Alondra rose to her feet.
"However, I didn't bring any clothes."
"It's in the closet; just take what you want that's still new," Leandre replied.
"Why do you have women's clothes in here?" Alondra asked as she opened the closet, making Leandre laugh. Is she jealous? He hopes that she is.
"I have a sister, so if they ever come here with my mommy, they'll use something. Go ahead and I take a shower first."
"All right."
Leandre walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. He returned a few minutes later, wrapped a towel around his waist, and wiped his wet hair. When he looked down at the bed, Alondra was gone, and he panicked. He quickly changed into his clothes and pajamas and ran down the stairs. He couldn't see her even in the living room, so he assumed she was in the kitchen.
So when he saw her back and washing something in the sink, he breathed a sigh of relief. But what he saw her wearing engulfed him. A white fitted crop top that reveals the stomach and a white thin short that covers the buttocks. When worn with no fabric, she appears to be very comfortable. He had no idea this woman was more beautiful than he had imagined. He couldn't help himself and approached her from behind and hugged her. He purposefully pressed his body so tightly that even air shied away from it. In his mind, Leandre laughed.
"What are you doing? I felt bulging down there." Alondra said softly, laughing.
Leandre was suddenly embarrassed because he seemed to be too active when Alondra was with him. But he didn't even leave his embrace.
"All I thought. Are you going to sleep? Why are you here now?" asked Leandre.
"I suddenly got hungry so I came here. Do you want to eat too?" Alondra asked him.
Leandre didn't answer but hugged Alondra when she faced him.
"Let me go. Let's eat first." Alondra said laughing.
Leandre would like to say that she is what he wants to eat. He bursts out laughing. He didn't know why he became so clingy when this woman was with him.
So Leandre had no choice but to let go of Alondra's embrace and sit next to her.
"The space in this kitchen of yours is big. Why do you want to stick here next to me?"
"I'd rather be close to you so let me be first," Leandre answered and started eating.
While eating, Leandre kept on looking on his side, especially at Alondra. Hungryness was evident in her because she ate so hard that she stopped talking to him. After some time they finished eating. Leandre went out first because his phone in his pocket rang.
He saw that it was Nicholas who called.
"Hello. Why?" asked Leandre.
"Why are you asking? I just want to know what happened." answered this on the other line.
Leandre shook his head while laughing.
"Everything is fine. She's here."
"That's why you're so crazy because she's so beautiful; I've already planned to steal her from you; if only I'd known she was that beautiful, I wish I'd paid for her myself," Nicholas said solemnly.
Leandre's mood shifted.
"Damn you! Don't be interested in what I own because Ninette loves you too much and you two are married," Leandre said sternly.
"Of course, I can give Ninette up for her."
He abruptly turned off his phone because he was annoyed with Nicholas. After a minute, he receives a message from Nicholas stating that Jade has arrived at his home and has begun to sow fear. His brow furrowed in intensity.
Because they are separated, she has no right to be a detective, and he has every right to be happy. He is unconcerned about whatever she is planning. She is an excellent impersonator, much like a cheating wife. When approached, it is extremely poisonous. Alondra had just passed in front of him. And he noticed her ascending the stairs. As he put his phone in his pocket, Leandre followed. Alondra had already fallen asleep and was dressed in a loose shirt and gray pajamas when he entered the room.
Perhaps they will agree to sleep in the same bed. He smelled his clothes first because it would be a shame if he smelled bad next to Alondra. He got on the bed and sat next to Alondra. He hasn't slept with anyone in over a year, and he's relieved to be with this woman. So he wants to handle his and Jade's divorce so he doesn't have to worry about it too much. From behind, Leandre hugged Alondra. He desired to feel the warmth of her body because he felt safe and secure.
Alondra awoke around four o'clock the next morning. When she saw Leandre sleeping peacefully on her side, she forced a smile. She didn't want to wake up if it was all a dream. She had not expected to see herself sleeping with a man next to her in the bed until now. That's not her. This is the other side of her character. The Alondra she remembers is a good daughter who simply wants a good life for her family. Eat three times per day. But now she's changed. A simple provincial woman has evolved into a race of lost women walking on the wrong path of life. But she has no regrets. She understands that everything happens for a reason.
Alondra shook her head and leaned back. She is afraid of her parents' reaction if they find out she lives with a man in one house, with one room, and one bed.
But if she can keep it hidden, she will. She began by entering the bathroom and taking a shower. It's a good idea to keep a clean towel inside. She reasoned that it was better than this one man was with her than that she was alone at the club, where many men would touch her. She was aware that if he remained there for an extended period, she would become ill. She was thinking about the girls and where they were. She emerged from the bathroom a few minutes later, her entire body wrapped in a towel. When she looked, Leandre was still sleeping; perhaps he was too comfortable to be with her. He smelled so good that she wanted to hug him all night.
She felt sorry for herself at times; she was with the man to pay off the debt, not because he liked her.
It's a good thing Leandre didn't continue to imprison her because this was the only thing he could think of making her do. This is the man that all women wish to spend the rest of their lives with. She went shopping for new clothes. She went with leggings and a striped crop top. She quickly put it on and walked out of the room. She plans to go sightseeing in the city today, so she will cook early. When she got to the kitchen, she put on an apron and went to the refrigerator to find something to cook.
Life is different when the rich have everything they need in one container and the poor have to dig every day for food. She took the ones that could be used for cooking and sliced them one by one. She just waited for the other dish to finish cooking for half an hour. She has also set the table with dishes and other useful items. She put the already cooked dishes away and went outside for a while to wake up Leandre. She was about to leave when she heard a knock on the front door. So she went up to it first and opened it.
The woman's smiling face was the first thing she noticed, and her smile vanished when their gazes met. Perhaps this is Leandre's sister because they had similarities with each other.
"All I thought Leandre was opening the door. But it turned out to be a woman." said the woman in a gentle voice, she wasn't smiling but she wasn't angry.
"I'm Alondra. Come in first. Go straight to the kitchen to have breakfast." Alondra answered, ignoring the woman's gaze on her face.
She gave the woman a chair to sit on. Then Leandre entered the kitchen.
"What are you doing? What did you wake up this morning?" it asked.
And the woman was not noticed because she was only looking at him. He was about to kiss her when,
"You have a visitor," Alondra said.
There are no words for Leandre's shock when he saw his sister's very formal face. Is she too small for him to see? Or his eyes were just focused on Alondra.
"You thought about coming here, Emerald. She is my girlfriend." he only said.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Leandre's sister." Emerald answered and looked at Alondra.
"Same here. Eat now." Alondra said, smiling.
And she placed the rice and a dish on his plate, as well as water in a glass, and handed it to him. He agreed to it. He noticed Alondra standing up and reaching for something from the top of the fridge. He sat down again and wiped his sweaty face and back as if it didn't bother her that Emerald was right in front of them. And Leandre noticed his sister was taken aback when she saw Alondra wipe his sweat and place the handkerchief behind him. She appeared to want to say something to him but was cut off by Alondra in front of them. Alondra took Emerald's plate as she was about to go get some food.
"I'll get the food for you, Emmie. I hope you like what I cooked." Alondra said and took food and gave her sister the plate.
"Thank you."
"Do you want me to add more?" Alondra asked him.
"I'll take it," Leandre answered because he was embarrassed to say yes. After all, Emerald's eyes were focused on them.
"What about you, Emmie? Did the food is good?" Alondra asked in a gentle voice.
Leandre smiled. He didn't know what Alondra's behavior was when she was angry. She was just almost perfect for him, every word of it seemed calculated to avoid making mistakes.
"Your cooking is good," Emerald replied with a smile.
"Thank you."
Emerald was very talkative but she didn't know why she was so quiet when it came to Alondra. They finished eating a few minutes later. They were already in the living room with Emerald but not talking while Alondra is still in the kitchen.
