Chapter 27

"All right, tomorrow we're going somewhere, so don't ask any questions for now."
"All right, thank you."

Alondra continued to eat, but she only gave Mr. Harway a quiet glance, and he never spoke to her again. A few minutes later, Alondra emerged from the kitchen. She is bothered by the fact that the helpers here treat her as if she is wealthy, even though they have more money than she does.

She appeared to believe that as time passed, her chances of finding work were dwindling. She wants to pull tomorrow so she and Mr. Harway can go to the location he mentioned. Alondra went back to her room and sat on the bed. She has nothing to do, so she will sleep again. She needed to get ready for whatever job she got the next day. She had no idea she had spent the night because she had slept soundly. She got out of bed when she noticed a black long gown nearby. Mr. Harway walked in bringing high heels in color white.

"Good thing, you're awake. And now we're leaving," he said smiling.
"Really?"
"Yes. So get dressed and wear those clothes," he said and placed the sandals next to the dress.
"I'm not used to wearing these sandals with heels," Alondra complained.

In terms of work, Alondra was ecstatic because she would be able to earn money right away. Perhaps this will be the cause of her nose injury when she walks incorrectly because she is not used to it upon wearing this pointed stack heel.
"You'll get used to it because you'll be using something like that every day from now on."

Alondra didn't say anything else because she didn't have anything else to say, but instead stood up and changed her clothes and sandals after Mr. Harway had left. She wasn't sure where they were going because he didn't say anything.

"Are you done, Alondra? Let's go," yelled Mr. Harway outside the door.
"Coming," she answered as she happily walked but she was not used to her shoes.
And she knew that when he arrived later that she was only wearing this and that she would surely be injured. Mr. Harway raised his eyebrows while looking at her.
"You are so beautiful with your outfit but the problem is that you look like a zombie," said Mr. Harway in a serious tone.

Alondra wanted to laugh but Mr. Harvey didn't laugh. So she carried the sandals as she went down the stairs. Because she knows she will fall and roll down if she pushes even though she can't. She walks while walking out of the house even though the exit of the gate is still the same Mr. Harway is still silent and entered the black car parked in front of the big house. Half an hour later the car was running on a road he was not familiar with. She wanted to ask but she preferred to remain silent because of him. She just wanted to ask if they were going to a party because he made her wear expensive clothes. As time went on, Alondra was no longer familiar with the road they had taken. A few hours later the car stopped at a large house that was dark outside. And the big gate in front was so long that she couldn't see what was inside. If there is a party here, why doesn't she see any cars outside? Mr. Harway came down first as he opened the car door for her. He waited for her to put on her sandals before leading her inside. The gate opened by itself so Alondra turned to the side and was looking to see if there was anyone but maybe there was no one as the gate opened automatically when entering. She looked around while slowly walking looking for people but Alondra saw none.
She saw a man dressed all in black and led them to the closed door. The man opened it and they went inside. And here Alondra saw that many of the women were sitting as if they were not themselves. Some looked like they were about to cry and others just stared at the ceiling. Alondra frowned because she couldn't understand why they went to this kind of place. The women in the room were not only in their 10s but also in their 30s. There are people her age and Daisy's age who seem to be calm but the one he saw crying seems to be Mathilde's age. Alondra couldn't even understand what was happening but she started to get nervous because it didn't seem like they had gone to the right place. She turned to the side to look at Mr. Harway but never saw it again. Her gaze focused on the old woman in front of them who was smoking a cigarette. She couldn't understand if it was a woman or a gay man dressed in women's clothes. It's because her face is so sad that she can't explain it. Alondra sat down when someone suddenly gave her a seat. And next to her is a woman who is very white, especially wearing this red dress, as if I can see her soul in a very short time. And the others are wearing skirts that when undone you can see the undies inside. Alondra was restless in her seat, looking behind her to look for Mr. Harway but it was more intentional to leave her in the pile of women.
"What are you doing here?" the woman asked.

"Huh?" only Alondra answered.
Because even he didn't know what he was doing in this place.
"Do you know that this place is dangerous for someone like you? So naive and innocent." said the woman and looked at her intently.
"Someone just brought me here but I'm clueless as to what's going on and why they're crying," Alondra answered and looked ahead.
"Why are you coming without knowing where you're going? Do you know that once you enter this place, you will never get out?"
Alondra was suddenly afraid. If so, was she kidnapped and Mr. Harvey is the devil hiding in the person of a saint? She was helpless and devastated because she was fooled by someone who would only pretend to be nice. If she becomes a prisoner in this place, what about her family who depends on her? That's why others cry because they are afraid.
"Have we been kidnapped?" Alondra asked innocently, making the woman smile.
"We will be sold to the bar house and will work there for the rest of our lives with various men who have defiled our personalities." the woman answered, causing Alondra to become depressed.
It's like she went to hell and will burn her soul. She didn't understand much of what the person next to her was saying, but she knew what their job would be. She wants to mentally kill Mr. Harway. He didn't treat her like a genius because he sold her soul to the devil. That's why she was given a gift that was too expensive because he even received something expensive because she wore the price of her personality that he sold. But can she do anything else? Even though she was scared, she had to take courage because no matter what she did, she would not be able to leave this place. Alondra also looked at the woman, but even so, she was tense.
"Everyone shut up. And I hope I don't hear any crying from all of you. You probably know why you're here because it's obvious from your looks, but if you're all thinking about how to run away, you're wrong. Because that's the amount I paid all of you. So that somehow my heart will be happy with you, do your work well." said the old woman.
Alondra doesn't know what she can feel or do. She only dreamed of having a good life with her family but she ended up like this. And his chest was full of fear because he was not familiar with their work.
"No way! You don't have the right to dictate what we can do because you don't control the lives of all of us here." shouted a girl with long hair who was younger than her.
The woman laughs.
"Really? If you don't want to be here, you can leave. I just doubt you can pay the price I paid the person who brought you here. I can see you are poorer than the poor. You won't end up here if your smart and finish your studies." insulted the old woman in front of her.
Alondra's mood creaked. This old man has no right to insult them because it was not their fault that they became poor. After all, it is only getting rich because of its wrongdoings and ruining the lives of those who are unable to do anything or protest. The woman retreats because no matter what she does, she can't do anything else.
Alondra felt sorry upon seeing the girl crying on the side. It was like stabbing her heart a million times. She remembers Mathilde on her. An innocent girl that needs to take care of just to take away from harm would stay here because she was being cheated by a heartless individual. She didn't know if this girl had a strong sister just like her to work hard for her to make life better. Alondra, she can't stand seeing her sister herself being a victim of this cruelty. It is better if he is the only one here in this situation than his sister Mathilde, he will be better able to face this challenge of life. This experience makes her a strong woman in an instant. A blow in her life that she was not even prepared for.
"I know all of you here aim to have a lot of money and help your families in poverty. So it's your time to shine. You also need to use that beauty of yours so that you can all make money." The old woman said with a laugh and left in front of them.

Alondra exhaled a sigh. This is far too much to accept. She had no idea that it would lead to her having to sell herself to get out of poverty. She has no choice but to accept her fate in the company of these women. She has many hopes and dreams in life, but she will end up like this.

She turned around to see several guards stationed at each corner. They will undoubtedly capture them if she escapes. Even if she is afraid, she hides it. In this situation, she requires courage. There is nothing she can do if she cries and squats because she was placed here. They were eventually led to their respective rooms.

Alondra had brought her bag with only her phone, but she had forgotten to bring her clothes and didn't know how they should dress. They can be found in every room. She was with the crying girl and the woman next to her. She was about to enter when the man pushed her, and it was a good thing she was holding the girl or her head would have hit the cement.

"You don't need to hurt her. She'll get in just fine. You should treat a girl as if you didn't come from your mother. Money isn't always important; respect for others is. Let's go," she told the girl before punching her.

Her four companions cried as she entered. While Alondra sat slowly on the bed. The entire room smells good and is cozy because of the new paint, which is a lovely pink color. But she was far from relaxed. Because she was always curious about what her life would be like in this place and what they would do first thing in the morning. She dislikes seeing someone cry because it causes her to lose focus. She can't be a hero by saving them while also saving herself. Even though she is still alive, it appears that she dug her own grave in this situation.

"Why are you so calm? Don't you know what they can do to us?" the curly-haired girl asked, her eyes welling up with tears as she looked at her.

Alondra inhaled deeply.

"What is my reaction? Why am I going to cry and cry until I get out of here?" Alondra replied. "We both know that we are trapped in this place with no hope of getting out, and if we do get out, there is a rope around each of our necks. Instead of crying, you have to be strong, you have to be strong for your life."

"How? Right now, I can't bear the thought of being used by different men, whether they're foreigners or not. I don't have a boyfriend, I haven't even kissed, I've never experienced it. situation and my body will get tired of those gags?" the girl screamed, sobbing.

Alondra remained silent. They will be made to rent girls overnight to accompany customers in the club, and they will lead to worldly things that she had no idea they were capable of.  She now understands the source of their apprehension.

"I'd rather die than be used by those men; now I'm sorry I even considered leaving this hellhole; I want to be angry, curse, and blame my parents, but what can they do if they were born poor as well?" said the girl with short hair.

"I heard they call us escort girls," the woman next to her said with courage on her face, but she saw her tears fall.

"What's that?" asked someone Mathilde's age, whose eyes were red from crying so much.

"Is a type of sex worker who exchanges sexual services and companionship for money," explained the woman next to her.

Alondra closed her eyes in response to what she heard. So that's the end of it. She couldn't believe her innocence would be lost to a man she didn't know.

"They can't force us if we don't want to. If we aren't ready, maybe we can choose a companion without sex," Alondra replied.

The woman next to her shook her head.

"I doubt it," the woman replied, "because that old woman is too greedy; her bar would make more money if women like us and this customer engaged in sex right away."

Another reason for others to cry

"I'm scared. I'm only sixteen and I ended up here; I don't deserve this kind of life," she sobbed.

Alondra couldn't stop crying because this girl was too young to have her life ruined. She loves her sister very much and she doesn't want her life to be ruined like what she went through now. So seeing this girl hopeless makes her heart shattered.
In any circumstances that he and Mr. Harvey wants to give him a hard blow so that he knows his struggle in life. He was a heartless human being he knew he was fired from his job and now he was put in this situation. You will get a lot of money but your soul will burn in hell. She would rather wash a lot of dishes than be with any man and soil her personality.
