Chapter 32

He saw Alondra walking towards him. And sat in front of him.
"What are you doing there?" Leandre asked, looking at Alondra intently.
"Cleaning. I swept the floor first because there was a lot of fallen dirt," answered Alondra leaning on the couch with her eyes closed.
He feels sorry for her because her body is always tired and lacks sleep. But his jaw clenched when he thought of how many other men held his small body, his system was losing.
"Why didn't you quit your job there? I'm not saying this thing to judge your way of living but you still have a choice," said Leandre trying to convince Alondra.
Alondra just smiled while her eyes is still closed.
"What you're asking for is not that much, Leandre. It's not just beauty that you're going to venture into the field of living. You also need talent and documents to prove that you've completed your studies. I haven't finished anything, not even a little bit of achievements. I mean, where can people like me fall? It's just in the bar that's so dirty." Alondra answered in a hard voice.
Leandre didn't say a single word. He was caught off guard. Now he understands why this beautiful woman works there just because of poverty and the cruelty of life. If all people in the world lived equally, no one would be rich and no one would be poor, maybe there would be no people who end up in the wrong job and the course of their lives would be disrupted.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ask. I'm just curious." answered Leandre.
"No problem."
"Do you want to sleep? I'll prepare the guest room for you."
"No need. I'll just sleep here on your couch. Can you join me? Just you there and I'll be here." Alondra laughed as she looked at him.
Leandre looked away. No matter when he will never be at ease with this woman as if they have known each other for a long time since his urge to kiss her torridly was always there and didn't stop him unless he could kiss her. He shook his head like he was a hungry maniac ready to attack when he found an opportunity.
"My legs are long, Alondra. So I can't just sleep here. My body will bend." Leandre complained.
Alondra just laughed. If only he could be with Alondra even if he would sleep on the ground as long as she was with her there would be no problem.
"There in the middle, lay some foam if you have it there. We can sleep side by side." Alondra said as if what was being said was out of character.
Alondra doesn't think about what he feels if they sleep in one bed that's why it's so easy for her to invite him to sleep next to her because of her work. But anyway, Leandre seemed happy if he could smell Alondra up close. But he should be in advance and maybe Jade will make a surprise visit and see them and she will fight with Alondra. But he saw that Alondra didn't say anything, maybe she had fallen asleep. So Leandre stood up and entered his room while smiling. He doesn't know what luck this woman brings into his life so he became crazy that he's smiling alone. He went into his room and took out the foam he hadn't used yet. He also got his new long sleeve polo because he will have Alondra wear it. To make her comfortable in her sleep. He left his room carrying the foam along with a pillow and blanket. He placed the foam in the middle of the couch and put the glass table on the side so it wouldn't break.
"Wake up first, Alondra. So you can get dressed and sleep well," he says.
Alondra stood up and looked into his eyes.
"Thank you."
And suddenly she undressed in front of him so Leandre ran up the stairs and gasped. He wanted to punch himself for being like a child afraid of a poisonous animal. He smiled. Someday he will get revenge for Alondra's naughtiness. If he doesn't have respect for that woman, he will drag and kiss her until she loses her breath. He waited a few hours before returning to the living room. He saw Alondra just sitting while fiddling with her phone. She already wears his long sleeve that looks like a duster on her.

"Why did you run? I'm not going to undress. I'm just teasing you." said Alondra, while smiling.

"Don't you dare tease me again? Because I might not be able to run away from you," answered Leandre who shook his head.

This woman is trying his temper to not kiss her to lead them to be in paradise.
"Why? What are you going to do to me? May I know what is it?" Alondra asked.
"Shut up! Go to sleep."
"Okay. Good night, handsome," Alondra said as if seducing him.
So Leandre did nothing but lay on the other side. And he covered his whole body with a blanket. He closed his eyes but sleep wouldn't visit him. Only now he will experience it again he has a woman in bed with him. Not just any random woman but a very beautiful woman. But he insisted on sleeping even though it was hard to do. He didn't realize that he fell asleep. He just woke up when he felt something heavy running behind him because he was lying on his side. He tried to get up but got heavier.
"Don't be naughty. Just let me hug you even now. I'm really tired." Alondra said.
Now he knew that it was Alondra who was hugging his back and now he could smell her feminine perfume. Leandre went back to lying down as he let Alondra hug him. He felt a sense of peace in her embrace that he didn't know why. Like he forgot everything and that it was just the two of them together. It was getting late at night and Leandre didn't realize that he had fallen asleep.
Alondra was the first to wake up so she quickly got up and took her clothes off. She will just borrow Leandre's long sleeve that he lent her last night. She was suddenly attacked with shame when she woke up hugging Leandre's body. She wasn't like this before but her job suddenly changed her in an instant. She wants to achieve and return to her old habit of not knowing what's going on around her, but it's unclear what happened. This man gives her hope in life that everything is fine. And she had a feeling that he was treating her differently, unlike all the men she had met and become customers of. He's a very gentleman because they even sleep next to each other but Leandre didn't even take any steps to make something happen between the two of them. So she started to like him but she had to stop because she knew that he was just being nice to her and that his treatment meant nothing. So she suddenly kissed him on the cheek and ran into the kitchen. She will cook him breakfast before she leaves so he can eat properly. Alondra suddenly blushed when she thought that she had kissed Leandre while he was asleep. She did nothing while cooking but smile like a crazy woman. A few minutes later her dish and rice were cooked. She just put it on the glass table and she left the house and looked for a taxi. She immediately got in when a taxi stopped in front of her. Alondra felt okay when she slept well last night, the pain in her body disappeared suddenly. She smiled when she thought of Leandre's handsome face. If he is her constant companion every day, she will never get tired of cooking for him and serving him for the rest of her life. Alondra did not realize that she had reached the house. She got out of the taxi after paying. While entering, she saw Ciara in the hallway when he entered the house, she was just leaning against the wall as if waiting for someone. Her face brightened when their eyes met.
"Where have you been, sister Alondra?" Ciara asked when she got close to her.
"Somewhere," Alondra answered as she put her arm around Ciara and they entered their room together. The girls looked at each other when she and Ciara entered and Dianne's sharp gaze focused on her.
"How is your walk?" Dianne asked in an angry tone.
Alondra smiled because she was like her mother if she asked.
"It's okay. But nothing happened," Alondra answered with a frown.
Reason for raising Dianne's eyebrows.
"Why are you so sad when nothing happened to you? Do you want to have sex with your customers every time? What if you got pregnant?" Dianne asked worriedly.
Alondra laughed instead of being upset by her question.
"If your job is going to be like this, of course, you should take contraceptives to avoid pregnancy. If you make a mistake and get pregnant, the child will have no father to teach because there are many of them." Alondra answered with a laugh.
"Damn you. Not funny," replied Dianne, taken aback by her answer.
"Okay. My customer last night was very gentlemanly. And take note, very handsome." Alondra answered while smiling.
Dianne raised her eyebrows.

"So what you want to say is that you're sorry nothing happened to you with that handsome man? Why aren't you just attracted to him?" Dianne asked.
"Damn you!" Alondra exclaimed as she hurled a sling bag at Dianne, but it missed her because she dashed to cr.
"But I don't believe nothing happened because you're dressed differently."

"Don't go out there because I'll strip you and use up your hair," Alondra replied.


While Leandre was sleeping very well. But he got up suddenly because he notice that Alondra was no longer by his side. So he went to the kitchen to check but he was not there, the only thing he saw was the dish and rice on the table. Still inside the saucepan. Even though he was upset, Leandre still smiled because he felt that he was still important to her. It wouldn't be a problem if Alondra didn't wait for him to wake up because he knew where to look for it. He sat down and faced the food that Alondra cooked and ate it. After a few hours, he went up to his room and went straight to the bathroom. He took a shower immediately and had to go to the office. And he also plans to visit Nicholas in his office for a while and say hello. Maybe he is hiding now because he knows that he is very angry. But the opposite happened, he was very happy. So he quickly got dressed and immediately left the room and went straight to the gate and left the house. He didn't know why he suddenly became energetic. He got into his car and drove away. He reached Nicholas's office half an hour later. He went straight inside and turned to go to his office. He was about to knock when the door opened and Nicholas' secretary came out.
"Where is your sir Nicholas?" he asked.
"He's not here, sir. He hasn't come yet." answered the woman.


"All right," he says, "I'll just wait for him inside."
He entered Nicholas's office after his secretary had left. In his mind, he laughs because he made her a liar as well as his secretary. Nicholas will not be duped because he saw her car outside.
Leandre sat on the couch as soon as he walked in. And looked for Nicholas's hiding place.

"If you don't get out of there, I'm going to blow up your office, and I'm not kidding," he threatened, but Nicholas did not appear.


So Leandre stood up.

"Why are you hiding? Are you guilty of what you did? And you even included your secretary in your foolishness." said Leandre.
"What are you talking about?" asked Nicholas.
"Really? And you've got amnesia now? Don't try me because you might ruin your character with your wife. I can imagine that you wanted to use another woman last night and you even named me without consulting me?" said Leandre.
"What the hell? Why would I do that when I have a wife?" said Nicholas.
"So, what are you up to that you did that to me? You insulted me. You paid a lot for me to be with a woman last night. Why?" Leandre asked in a serious voice so that he could believe Nicholas and make him feel guilty.
Nicholas sat in the swivel chair. And looked directly at him.
"I'm sorry. I just want you to be happy."
"Why you chose a woman for me that came in the place? There are many other women there who are fine," answered Leandre.

"Are you sure? Even if you say there are more women there, you have no intention of looking there because you haven't moved on from your ex-wife who cheated on you, so what happened? I didn't even see the woman they gave you last night," Nicholas said.

When Leandre thought of Alondra, he smiled. And he forgot to ask for her phone number so that when he's hungry, he can just call her. Despite taking a shower, he could still feel her hug on his back. And because his thoughts were on Alondra, he didn't notice a flying slipper had landed on his head.


"Damn you! Why are you bullying me?" shouted Leandre.
"You're not answering my question because you suddenly smiled. Why?" asked Nicholas.
"Nothing. I just thought of something." Leandre replied, unable to remove the smile from his lips.
"Really? What's that? Don't tell me you started going crazy. I just saw that sweet smile of yours only now." said Nicholas.
"Shut up!"
"We're friends. That's why I hope I can share in your happiness now," said Nicholas.
"You know I'm not allowed to have a relationship when I never got a divorced from Jade," answered Leandre.
"It will be easy if you get a divorce tomorrow. So, does that mean something good happened last night?" asked Nicholas.
"The truth is I took her out and brought her to my house," Leandre answered and leaned on the couch.
"Really? Is that possible? As far as I know, you can put them to bed but you can't take them home." said Nicholas.
"Nothing happened to us. She just cooked me dinner and we slept side by side." Leandre answered as if he was a teenager excited to tell a story to his friend.
"Are you still a man, Leandre? It's been served to you, why haven't you grabbed it yet?" Nicholas asked as if angry with him.
"I'm not like you who only knows how to make things taste better. I just want to make her feel that not all men are only after her body," answered Leandre.
"I see. So you're in love with her?"
"Is that possible that I fell in love with a woman like her?" Leandre asked.
Leandre doesn't have a problem with Alondra's job, he just wants to know where Nicholas stands on this matter.
"Of course. Because there is no wrong between people, gender, or wealth when it comes to love, Leandre. It's up to you if you accept her flaws for what she does. Everyone has a reason why they are the way they are. If she is willing to change for you, why not?" Nicholas said passionately.
Leandre is thankful to Nicholas that if he and Alondra happen to be together, he will accept it.

"Did you come here so early so we could talk about your new love?" Nicholas asked raising an eyebrow at him.
"No. I only just want to confront you because I don't understand why you put me in trouble last night," answered Leandre.
Nicholas laughs.
"What I did was no trouble. I want you to get the lead because you have had no sex life for a long time. At least something good happened from what I did." Nicholas replied.
"Should I thank you?"
"Of course. Because you can't find someone who will make you happy if it's not because of me. Look at yourself in the mirror, it's not you anymore. You've been smiling like crazy. So treat me to snacks or drinks." Nicholas suggested.
"Damn you! I have to go. I'm about to enter the office." answered Leandre.
"Go ahead. You're a nuisance here."
As he walked out of Nicholas' office, Leandre burst out laughing. He jumped into his car and started it right away. He had no intention of coming to the office today. He intends to return to his mother's home. He swung the car around. He also went missing for a day, so perhaps they are already looking for him. He arrived at his mother's house half an hour later. He ran out the door, through the gate, and straight to the front door. He was swaying his body and whistling like an idiot when he bumped into someone in the living room. When he looked at it, he saw Emerald's crumpled face, clearly in pain.


"Are you okay?" asked Leandre.
Emerald's eyes rolled in his question.
"What do you think? You hit me hard and then ask if I'm okay. Oh my, I feel like my toenail is going to come off because I fell." Emerald complained.
"I'm sorry, little sister. I didn't see you." Leandre said and was about to touch Emerald but she dodged.
"What happened to your beautiful morning why are you dancing? I didn't know you had talent. You look like a frog with its tongue cut off." Emerald asked with a laugh.
Leandre frowned. Instead of pitying her sister because he bumped into her so hard, it suddenly disappeared and was replaced by annoyance because she criticized him for swaying his hips. Leandre just sat on the couch.
"Why didn't you stay away when you saw me coming in?" asked Leandre.
"I'm not sure about you, but where did you come from last night?" Emerald asked.
