Daniel Hamilton and two out of the feathers drove their exotic cars into the circle street.
The circle street or the circle community as the people living there called it, is a slum area. A place where the poor live. A place that had been neglected by the government for years. A place that had been cast out of langose and it was the location chosen by the feathers for their project.
The people living in the circle community were surprised when they saw cars entering the community. The people living in the community were not even up to fifty but their lifestyle was not poor beyond possible imagination.
Daniel Hamilton And the feathers came out of their different cars and walked to where the people had gathered. "Who are you and what do you want?"An old dwarf man who stood at the front of their crowd asked the feathers.
Daniel removed the sunglasses on his face and frowned at the sight of the dwarf man. They couldn't even send a better person to represent them instead, they bought a dwarf. A useless dwarf to him.
"You must be their leader. We are the feathers and we are here to claim this land"Daniel informed.
The dwarf looked up to him and gave him a frown. He did not back down as he spoke up again.
"Claim? You can't claim this land because it belongs to no one. This land had to be ours for many years now. you have no right to walk here and tell us you want to claim our land. Right people?" the dwarf man asked his people and they all nodded their heads.
"I don't have time for this Daniel. Do something or I'll crush this man with my heels" Alissa grunted where she stood. It looks as if she was not happy to be there.
"How dare you threaten me?" the dwarf man yelled at Alissa.
Alissa shushed him and bent down to his level.
"You don't talk back at me dwarf," Alissa said and pushed the man's head with her fingers.
The dwarf stumbled but he didn't fall. He scowled at Alissa and raise his hand to push Alissa but his effort prove futile.
Alissa laughed and pushed him to the ground. All the communities gasped as they watched their leader fell. They couldn't do anything but just watched as their leader to the ground with a thud.
Alissa stood up and gave the crowd a glaring stare before she spoke up.
"As he had introduced earlier, "Alissa pointed to Daniel before she continued. "We are here to claim this land. The president permitted us."
"What permission?" the dwarf man spoke up again. This time he shouted aloud with veins showing on his neck.
"Can somebody shut this thumb up?"Simone said.
"I'm not a thumb. You can not claim this land because it was abandoned by the president himself." the dwarf man informed.
Daniel gave to Andre with his eyes and before the communities knew it, guns were pointed to their heads by Andre and the guards that had accompanied the feathers. "If any of you have anything to say, I suggest you say it now or forever hold your peace," Daniel announced in a tone that held power.
The people cowered in fear and didn't say anything. Even the dwarf man trembled at the sight of the gun. None of them could speak up. Women held their children in their blossoms while the men watched the gun pointed at them unable to do anything.
"Since you have nothing to say, I'll just say this real quick. This is the feathers land now. I'll give you the grace to vacant this place before tomorrow otherwise else I'll kill you one by one."
"What? Tomorrow? We have nowhere to go."A petite dark woman carrying a baby among the people complained.
Daniel looked at the woman who had spoken up and glared at her.
"I don't go back to my word woman. Leave this community before tomorrow, "he ordered.
"You can't do this to us. We have children and this place is our only home. Where do you want us to go? Have mercy!" an old woman with a lot of grey hairs begged.
"Do we look like we care granny?"Alissa throw the question at her and snorted. "Fucking peasants, "she muttered.
"Please my child, "the old woman knelt before Daniel and begged him with tears in her eyes. "Please we barely survive here. How do we survive outside here? Have mercy"
The people all get on their knees and begged for mercy.
"Have mercy!" they all cried.
"Have mercy!"
For a moment, Daniel watched the people with pity and his expression towards them change.
"I hope you are not considering this Daniel," Simone said beside him.
Daniel stared at the people again before he spoke up.
"I. "He said and the people listened with rapt attention, hoping that he could listen to them and call of the order.
"I don't go back to my words, "Daniel blurted out.
The people exchange glances and couldn't believe what they heard. After all the begging, still, he went back to his word.
"You are a wicked soul!" the dwarf man shouted. "Your cruelty would lead to your end"
Alissa moved closer to the dwarf man and wanted to hit him but she was stopped by Daniel. Daniel bent over to his level and smiled wickedly at the dwarf man.
"I'm worse than the devil" he laughed and put on his sunglasses. "I expect you all out of here before tomorrow. Believe me. if I come back and you are still here, I'll wipe all of you out"Daniel threatened and stood up. He signals to Andre and the guards to drop their guns.
"Let's go feathers," Daniel ordered and walked to his car with the two feathers trailing behind him.
They all entered their cars and left the same way they arrived.
As soon as they left, the people broke into tears. Children cried in their mother's arms while the men pretended everything was fine. The dwarf man looked at the people and was sad that he could not help his people.

After Lillian's confessions and the evidence she dropped, kemisola's case was reopened and a trial date was set. The justice all worked hard together to gather more evidence on Kemi's case.
"Okay guys, I think that is enough for today. We still have a week before the trial. We need to rest"Lara informed the justice who seemed to be exhausted due to sorting out evidence concerning Kemi's case.
"Lara is right. I'm tired guys, "Mary complained.
"Okay guys, let take a break and we will return in an hour or so"Jeremy informed them.
Lara and Mary both sigh in relief at Jeremy's information.
"any news concerning the feathers?"Yomi asked.
Mary groaned out in frustration and stood up from her chair.
"Come on Yomi. We are on break and no discussion about business"
"Sorry, "Yomi apologized and walked outside the meeting room.
Lara also stood up from her chair and began to look around the office. She went out of the meeting room and walked to Lisa's desk. She could see Lisa staring at a framed picture. Lara moved closer to her and saw a picture of a young woman and a boy and girl.
"Are they your children?"Lara asked behind her.
Lisa jumped on her seat and quickly calm down when she saw that it was Lara.
"You startled me, Lara, "Lisa said.
"Sorry, Lisa. I saw you seating alone so I decided to come to see you."Lara apologized.
"It's okay, "Lisa replied and gave Lara the picture frame. "That's me and my kids. Khloe and Kamil"
"They are beautiful "Lara commented as she stared at the pictures of Lisa and her kids. "You look young here. When was this taken?"
"2010, "Lisa replied with a hint of sadness in her tone. "That's was the last time I saw them."
"Did something happened?" Lara asked but Lisa shook her head.
"nothing happened. I had to leave them so that I could provide for them."Lisa sadly said.
"I get. Do You still speak with them?"
"Once in a while. When I'm not busy, "Lisa replied.
"Will You like to see them again?"Lara asked.
"If I could but I can't because right now Jeremy is my priority and my children understand. I just wished I could see them again. I missed them"Lisa confessed and quickly wipe the tears that flowed down her face.
"It going to be alright Lisa. You'll see them again" Lara assured.
"I hope so, "she replied with uncertainty.
Lisa had to be with Jeremy ever since he lost his parent. She had to choose this path to cater for her children. Having lost her husband after her second child, this was the only way to provide for her children.
