In the year 2001, Chief Justice Felicia Watson chamber.
Felicia Watson, a white woman in her late thirties walked into her chamber as she had just finished a court session concerning a murder case. Just as she sat on the leather black chair in her large office, she sighed deeply as someone else entered the room.
"Attorney Akinsola," she stood and greet the male lawyer that had entered into her chamber. "Glad to see you are here, how is the case of Daniel olatunde coming up." She asked and offered him a seat.
"The evidence against him is concrete and it could lead to him getting a death sentence. He killed ten people in a day," Abraham Akinsola explained to Felicia Watson who listened with rapt attention.
"That's is so terrible of him. Who is his lawyer?" She asked.
"It none other than Leonard Philip, " Abraham Akinsola with a scowl on his face. It appears he hated the person called Leonard Philip.
"Leonard Philip, " Felecia Watson tapped on the table in the center of the leather chair. "Interesting," she said and continued tapping the table.
"Detective Johnson had gathered enough evidence and when I leave here, I would be heading to meet him. He said he had something to say to me"
"Alright, attorney Akinsola. I'll see you on Friday," Felicia stood up and escort Abraham out of his office.
??????????????????????????????????
Abraham walked out of the court of Langose and headed into his car. He started his car and drove along the street. on his way to meet Detective Johnson, he got a call from his wife.
"Hey, love."
"Hey, Abraham. Where are you, Abraham? The kids are asking of you and they wanted to see you." His wife's voice sounded worried over the phone.
"I'll be home over tonight Julian, tell the kids I'll see them tonight." He said and hanged up the phone.
Abraham drove towards a cafe where the detective had asked him to meet him. When he got to the cafe, he parked his car and entered the cafe. He looked around and sighted Detective Johnson, a muscular man who was wearing a red round neck tee, a black face cap, and a pair of blue jean trousers
"Detective Johnson, " Abraham shook hands with him and took a seat opposite him.
"Hello, attorney. Do you want anything?" Detective Johnson asked.
"Nothing detective. What's up, you wanted to see me?"
"Right." Johnson looked around before saying anything. "When I arrested Daniel and gather evidence against him, I found another shocking thing." Johnson looked around again then he moved closer to Abraham and whispered just enough for him to hear. "The people he killed were not ordinary people. They are the Five wings as they are called by others."
"But he killed five people more. Were you able to identify them?"
"The five others he killed were just their guards," Johnson explained. "I think Daniel had a reason for killing all those people. When I arrested him, he didn't look remorse instead he just laughed and told me he was going to get out soon." Johnson paused before he continued what he was saying. "Look, if Daniel olatunde doesn't go to jail then he will come after us. I have two young daughters and I have sent them to my sister's place until the case is over. I'll advise you to do the same."
Abraham grabbed his hand and held them tightly." Nothing is going to happen to us. You and your family are safe. I have a family too and their safety is my priority. Do not worry about Daniel olatunde. I'll see that he goes to prison, " Abraham promised and let go of Johnson's hand.
On Abraham's way home that evening, he thought of what the detective had said. If anything should happen to him, he was going to make sure his family didn't get into the hands of evildoers. As he drove into the parking lot of his mansion, he saw his wife and his three children playing happily outside the mansion. When they saw him, they all ran to meet him.
"Father," the children all ran to him.
"Daddy, I missed you so much." A little girl with brown curly hair hugged her father while his brother follows suit.
"I'm here now Melissa. Come on let's go inside children while I tell you the story of my adventure." Abraham said and the children all jumped and clap.
"Welcome honey, " Julian, their mother peck Abraham on his cheek and they all walked into the mansion.
That night, the family all settled in their dining room to have dinner. They all seem happy to see that their father had returned. Abraham seemed to be texting someone on the phone and when Julian saw him, she scolded him and took the phone away from him.
"I have told you many times Abraham. No phones allowed on the dining table, " Julian scolded playfully.
"Sorry, my queen." Abraham laughed at his wife who frowned at him.
"Who were you texting anyway?" Julian asked suspiciously.
"Well, I was texting Mr. Diamond. He has something to give to me," Abraham replied with a smile and shook his head at his wife's jealousy.
Mr diamond was Abraham's trusted friend and bodyguard. All the evidence against Daniel Akintunde was with him. Abraham felt the evidence would be better off with him because he couldn't trust anyone with such high pieces of evidence.
"Dad, are you taking us to the park tomorrow? "Melissa asked, smiling brightly.
Abraham pinched her cheek and patted her head. "Of course bunny, I'll take you all out tomorrow, " he replied with a hint of sorrow in his voice.
"Promise?"The little girl asked her father to make sure that he would keep his promise.
"I promise, baby" he replied, kissing her forehead.
They all continued their dinner in silence.
The boy stood up from his seat and walked towards the kitchen door.
"Where are you going Jeremy," The mother asked the boy. Jeremy pointed to the kitchen door without saying anything.
"Why are you going to the kitchen? "The mother questioned.
"I am going to grab my cup, it's on the counter, "Jeremy replied and walked to the kitchen, not bothering to listen to what his mother had to say next.
He entered the kitchen to grab his cup that was laying on the counter. As he went to grab the cup he heard a noise coming from the kitchen door.
"Who is there? "He quaked and walked to the door.
"Jeremy, what going on in the kitchen?"His mother's voice resounded in the house.
"Nothing mum, I'm coming," he replied to his mother but he didn't go back to the hall. instead, he opened the kitchen door and walked outside looking for the sounds he heard. He walked a few steps away from the building and waited to hear the sound again, hearing none, he turned back and began to walk to the house.
"Why is Jeremy taking too long in the kitchen?" Abraham asked as he looked around for his older son.
"You shouldn't be surprised by his attitude. Jeremy had always been like this since like forever, " Julian replied and looked towards the kitchen." He should be out any minute from now."
Jeremy was neared the kitchen door when a force pushed him away and threw him into a nearby tree, he laid on the ground groaning in pain but the sight before him was terrifying for just a ten-year-old.
The mansion was on fire and his family was still in the house. He struggled to stand up and cry out his mother's name in pain but his words were not audible enough. As he was losing consciousness, he heard a voice talking indistinctly behind the bush.
"Are you sure every one of them is inside that house?" A masked man asked and pointed to the burning house.
"Yes, Daniel. All of them are inside the house and all pieces of evidence against you are burning along with the house. We should leave before the police come," the other man who wasn't wearing a mask pulled the masked man away from the bush.
As the mansion continue burning, Jeremy laid on the ground beside the tree unconscious. Soon, the police and the firefighter arrived but the mansion was already in ruins. No one knew the little boy was beside the tree until Mr diamond, Abraham's bodyguard, and trusted saw him laying on the cold ground lifeless. He quickly carries the boy into the ambulance that took him to the hospital.

The news of the Akinsola's spread wide throughout the country and instead of proper investigation, the press released news about a gas leakage in the mansion.
