Kendra tried to open her eyes but the light in the room was too bright and she quickly closed her eyes. She opened them again and this time, she was able to adjust to the brightness of the room. She looked around her and there was no sense of familiarity in the room. She jumped up from the bed and regretted her action when she felt unbearable pain in her stomach.
"Ouch!" She groaned out in pain and touched the spot where she was shot. Kendra hissed and lifted her shirt." Damn! " she touched her stomach which was perfectly stitched and plastered.
"Where is this place? What am I doing here?" She asked herself and then looked around for anything suspicious. "How did I get here? Was I kidnapped?" She asked no one in particular. She observed the clothes she was wearing and from how big the round neck shirt was and the pair of men's shorts, Kendra believed she had been kidnapped by a man.
"Was I kidnapped?" She questioned herself again. Kendra slapped her head to remember what happened to her and the only thing she remembered was getting shot and then fainting in front of an oncoming car. "Hello!" She called out to see if anyone would answer her but when she got no reply, she moved around the room searching for a clue on the person who kidnapped her.
Kendra searched the room for clues but saw nothing. The only thing in the room was a king-sized bed, a closet filled with men's clothes, a bathroom, and a desk and chair. There was nothing more to see in the room. Getting tired of searching the room, Kendra opened the door that leads outside the room and walked out of the room. The first thing she saw outside the room was another room opposite it. Kendra looked around and when she saw no movement, she grabbed the doorknob and turned it but the door didn't open. She tried again and gave up when it didn't open. Kendra looked to her right and saw grand stairs.
"I have been kidnapped by a rich man." Kendra gasped but quickly covered her mouth. She looked around for the umpteenth time and then start to walk down the stairs. Every step she took created strange feelings in her body. Kendra felt something bad was about to happen but she chooses to ignore the feelings and continue walking. When Kendra was a few steps to the end of the stairs, she stopped walking when she heard voices.
"I have been kidnapped!" She gasped when she realized what had just happened to her. " I need to leave," she said and took a step back but stopped in her tracks when she heard a familiar voice. The familiarity of the voice made Kendra walked downstairs and when she neared the end, she heard her name been mentioned.?
"Since Kendra is with us then she is probably missing," The familiar voice said. "They might be looking for her right now."
Kendra gasped when she realized whom the voice belongs to. "Yomi," she whispered.
"You are right. They are probably looking for me." Kendra's voice sounded on the stairs. Her footsteps grew closer as she walked down the stairs. When she finally gets to the last steps, Jeremy and Yomi both said her name at the same time.
"Kendra!"
"Well! Well! Well! The dead comes back to life." Kendra said sarcastically.
"Kendra!" Yomi exclaimed. "You are alive." He said.
"At least I didn't lie about it." She shouted at him.
"Calm down Kendra. You are making a mistake." Jeremy walked to her and tried to touch her but Kendra slapped his hands away.
"I am making a mistake!" Kendra shouted yet again. "Unless you are a ghost and I am hallucinating then I am making a mistake. You guys were alive all this while and you made us believed you were both dead! This is unbelievable." Kendra threw her hands up. " you lied to all of us. You made us believe you died."
"Let's me explain Kendra, we....." Yomi tried to explain but got punched in the nose by Kendra. "Ouch!" Yomi groaned out in pain. "That's was my freaking nose."
"You deserved more than that Yomi, I thought you were my friend," Kendra shouted at him. "You guys were living fine for a year and we thought you died!" Kendra moved closer to yomi and pushed him on the chest. "You were alive!" She pushed again but this time, yomi grabbed her hands and pulled her for a hug. "Let's go of me!"
"No, I won't let go of you until you listen to me." Yomi refused to let go of her.
"Are you crazy? I am so going to kill you when I....." Kendra threatened but yomi cut her off with a kiss.
Jeremy and Paul both exchanged looks when Yomi's lips met Kendra's.
Kendra pushed Yomi away and gave him a slap but yomi didn't budge instead he pulled Kendra in for another kiss. This time Kendra didn't fight the kiss instead she responded to the kiss.
"Uhm, Uhm." Jeremy cleared his throat to gain their attention.
Yomi and Kendra pulled apart and didn't say anything for a while until Kendra kicked yomi in the nuts.
"Damn!" Yomi moaned. "That's was painful. I thought we were past that."
"Pass that? Do you think we share some stupid kiss that it's going to make me forget about what happened. We were all sad and hurt that you died. We saw it in the news." Kendra couldn't control her emotions any longer as she burst into uncontrollable tears.
Yomi tried to move closer to her but Kendra raised her hand to stopped him. "Don't move close to me, please." She begged and continue crying.
"Maybe we lied to you about us been dead." Jeremy said and paused for a while then he continued. " you don't know what happened to us for that whole year so you have no right to judge us."
"Jeremy," Yomi called him to stop him from talking but Jeremy didn't answer instead he continued.
"I almost died that day but he saved me." Jeremy pointed to yomi. "I owe him my life. When I lost my memories for a few months, Yomi was there for me."
"So the rest of us doesn't give a damn about you right?" Kendra retorted.
"That's not what I meant," Jeremy tried to defend himself...
"That's exactly what you meant Jeremy. I mean look at you. You both are perfectly fine and you have a new friend," she pointed to Paul. "Staying here and arguing with you is a total waste of time. You can stay here with your new friend while I go over to my friends who need me." As Kendra turned to leave, yomi grabbed her hands. " you have something to say too?" She asked and when he didn't reply, she freed her hand from his grip and turned to walk away.
"I am sorry!" Jeremy shouted as she neared the door.
Kendra stopped but didn't turn back.
"I am sorry that we lied to you. We are sorry for pretending to be dead when we were not." Jeremy apologized.
Kendra sighed briefly and turned back to face them. " I can't resist your stupid face but first you need to tell me what happened and if it's what I needed to hear then I'll forgive you."
"Thank you, Kendra," Jeremy and Yomi both said at the same time.
" before you start your stupid story, what was that kiss for yomi?" Kendra questioned.
Both Paul and Jeremy Burst into laughter as they watched yomi trying to explain his reasons for the kiss

In the underground building where Lara and James were kept. James finally opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was a crying Lara.
"Haaaaa," he screamed?and sat up.
"Stop screaming. It's just me," Lara told him.
James closed his eyes and opened them again. He stared at Lara for a while then he screamed again.
"Shhhh, keep your voice down." Lara pointed towards the door. "They can hear you." She whispered.
James didn't care as he screamed again.
"Shut up!" Lara shouted at him and pointed to the door again. "They promised to kill you if they hear me screaming," Lara explained to him.
"I am sorry. I am just surprised to see you that's all." James apologized.
"It's okay. How did you get here?" Lara asked him.
"I have no idea. We went to Kendra's house and some masked men attacked us. Mary and kemisola were able to get away but I was unable to because I had to stop the masked men so Mary and kemisola could get away." James explained everything to her.
"What about Kendra? Where is she?" Lara questioned.
"Why are you asking me that? I thought she is also here." James looked around for any sign of Kendra.
"As you can see it's just the two of us here."
"If Kendra isn't here then where is she?" James questioned.
"Maybe someone else kidnapped her or maybe she went back to London."
"Kendra will never do that," James refused to believe Kendra would do such a thing.
"Then where is she?" Lara asked him.
"I have no idea." James simply said. "Where are we?"
"This is Daniel Hamilton's mansion. It an underground and things that are here would surprise you." Lara told him and looked towards the door. "There are things here that the world doesn't have to see," Lara whispered.
"How do you mean?"
Lara looked at the door again and then she pointed to the shelf filled with books. "There is something the world doesn't have to see." She told him.
"What? A bookshelf?" James questioned in disbelief.
"No!" Lara almost shouted but she quickly composed herself and whispered to him. "We need to get out of here. We need to stop the launch."
"But how?"
Lara whispered some words to him and James nodded in agreement. "That's is the plan," she told him.
"Will that work out?"
"Of course or will you rather remain here?" Lara questioned him and James quickly shook his head in disagreement. "Let's make this work out then."

Mary sat in front of her camera, the cool evening breeze blows into her room and made her shiver but Mary didn't care about the cold or the moon that shone brightly in the sky. All Mary cares about was the thoughts going through her mind.
Mary positioned her camera well and cleared her throat. "Good evening everyone," she started. "I am Mary Adeitan and I am the famous Anonymous. I am the lady behind every post and the reason why I revealed myself to you all is that I am here to talk about the injustice in this our blessed country or should I say cursed country?" Mary laughed and then stopped talking for a while before she continued.
"A few years ago, I was raped by some unknown men and I walked into the police station to report the rape case, there I met Munachi banks. He promised to help me that night but I later found out that he did nothing. He ignored a young, weak, and powerless woman because of his selfish gain. I was traumatized and lost my job because I couldn't cope. That's was the week my career ended." Mary wiped the tears that flow down her face away then she continued. "If munachi Banks had helped me that night then maybe, my life wouldn't have turned this way. Soon, that night turned to years and I always remembered it."
Mary smiled at the camera and then burst into tears. "I met Linda a victim like me and she wasn't just any victim, she was a victim of hamilton's boys just like every other girl. I promised to help Linda but they killed her before I could. They killed her and didn't let the poor girl get justice."
