Justice has nothing to do with victor nations and vanquished nations, but must be a moral standard that all the world's people agree to. To seek this and to achieve it- that is true civilization.

"I must say that you were impressive "Kyle walked over to where Jeremy was standing as soon as the court session ended.
Jeremy ignored him and pretended he didn t hear what he said.
"Ignore me all you want attorney Akinsola. You can still drop the case because you are never going to win this case. "Kyle whispered into his ears.
Jeremy laughed out loud and then whispered back into his ears, "wait and see prosecutor. I will win and expose all your wrongdoings "he smirked and walked away from him.
Kemisola spoke with her brother as the wardens who were taking her to prison gave her time to speak with her and the rest of the justice.
"I don t want to stay in prison any longer James. I want to be with you. I miss you a lot" Kemisola sobbed.
James rubs his hand on her gently and hugged her. "I miss you so much, baby sister. I promise to get you out"
"The justice would get you out," Jeremy said as he walked over to them.
"Jeremy!"Kemisola turned to him and hugged him. Thank you so much for everything Jeremy "
Jeremy was surprised as Kemisola hugged him. Kemisola's hug made him remember his sister Melissa. He wondered how Melissa would have turned out to be if she were to be alive. The thought of his family made his blood boil but all he wanted now was for Kemisola to get the justice she deserves.
"I will get you out, I promise you. " He replied and hugged her back.
"I trust Jeremy to get you out," Yomi said and placed a hand on Jeremy s shoulders.
"We have to take her away now, "the warden informed.
Kemisola gave James a final hug before walking out of the courtroom with the wardens.
"Nice job attorney Jeremy. "Mary gave him a thumb up as they all walked out of the courtroom.
"I just hope that Kemisola will be free in the next trial "Lillian stated as they walked out of the courtroom.
"I have to report this so smile for the camera, "Mary said as they walked outside, she bought out her phone and began to ask Jeremy's questions while videoing him. As soon as they stepped out of the courtroom, reporters rushed to him.
"How was the case? "
"Who won? "
"Why are you trying so hard to solve a case that was closed five years ago?"
"Are you related to the deceased or the murderer?"
"Why have you returned to mecianda when you were being paid well back in London? "
"How do you feel when you face kyle falana? "
Out of all the questions thrown at Jeremy, the only reply he gave was, "I didn't plan on winning neither do I plan on losing. Instead, all I want is justice for the girl who was wronged"
What do you mean by the girl who was wronged? "
Before Jeremy could answer the reporters, they all rushed towards kyle as he came outside the courtroom. They all began to throw questions at him. The same question they asked Jeremy.
"This case is closed but attorney Jeremy is still stubborn on winning. I hope he drops the case because the case is already mine. "Kyle bragged.
"How are you sure about wining?
"Is it true that you accuse the wrong person? "It was Mary who asks these questions.
Kyle glared at her and walk past the swarms of reporters into his awaiting car. As his car drove by, Mary grinned wickedly at him.
"What are you doing here Lara?? You should be in the hospital" Jeremy gave Lara a questioning look.
"I could not miss today. I know how today means to every one of us." She replied with a smile.
"But you are not fine," Jeremy argued.
"I'm okay plus I told the doctor in charge that I will be back."
Jeremy stared at her for a second before nodding his head." come I will take you back to the hospital"
"Alright attorney," she saluted and followed him to his car.
"Nice job boss," Lisa gave him a thumb up as she opened the door for Jeremy to enter.
"Thank you, Lisa." Jeremy smiled at her and entered the car.
"To where?" Yomi asked.
"Hospital," Jeremy replied.

"It has been confirmed that the case between kyle falana and Jeremy Akinsola has been adjourned to the 31st of this month. I'm melody reporting from the city TV."
Daniel Hamilton turn off his phone and dropped it on the table with a bang.
"I thought you said kyle falana was capable of taking down this lawyer," Simone stated.
"Why would they adjourned a case that is already dead?" Alissa questioned.
"What did you say the name of the lawyer was again?" Munachi asked Daniel who sat down with his hands on his head.
"He is Jeremy Akinsola a top lawyer back in London," Leonard answered as he walked into the feathers meeting room. Kyle falana trailed after him and bow as he entered the meeting room.
"Why is he here when he had failed?" Park eyed kyle falana as he walked into the meeting room.
"Daniel knows how to pick his dogs," Simone scoffed as she stared at kyle falana.
Kyle falana got on his knees and bow to the feathers." I'm sorry for failing you. All I ask for is a chance to prove myself again" he begged.
"We do not offer second chances to failures. You are a failure and you deserve to be punished," Alissa added and smirked at kyle falana.
Kyle falana lay down flat to the ground not bothering about the cold ground. he wanted to earn the feather's trust.? He didn't want to get on their nerves.
"Have mercy this one time " he begged.
"He seems like a loyal dog. Maybe we can grant him the second chance he is begging for" Simone suggested.
"I'll go with Simone. he won the case five years ago and now that he has pledged his loyalty to us, let us give him the second chances he wanted," park added.
Daniel cleared his throat and raised his hand as an indication for them to stop talking.
"Rise boy," Daniel commanded kyle.
Kyle falana stood up from the ground he laid on . he stood up with his head bow.
"Raise your head boy," Daniel command.
Kyle raised his head and met Daniel's glaring eyes. he quickly averted his eyes while Daniel laughed.
"The feathers do not give second chances but as for you we would an exception cause we need you" Daniel spoke with power in his tone.
"Yes sir. What do you need me to do for you sir?" kyle asked with his head bow.
"I want you to win that case. Can you do that for the feathers?"Daniel questioned kyle who looked to be trembling where he stood. "I need an answer prosecutor!" Daniel shouted.
Kyle's heart raced where he stood. he was afraid of what would happen to him if he refused and what if he failed, they were going to kill him anyway.
"Yes s-sir" he stuttered.
Daniel coughed and nodded at him.
"Very well then. since you have pledged your loyalty to the feathers. I hope you crush the lawyer on this case."
"Yes sir" Kyle spoke with confidence.
"Action speaks louder than words, " munachi frowned his face at what Kyle had said. He did not trust him but munachi knows that Daniel's second chances are like a death sentence.
"I need an answer to this question I'm about to ask," Alissa said and everyone in the meeting room turned in her direction. "who is this lawyer we are up against and why is he trying to solve a case that was closed five years ago?" Alissa asked and looked at everyone's face to see if there was someone who knew an answer to her questions.
"Jeremy Akinsola" Daniel tapped his fingers on the table." let's wait until the next case. All we should focus on now is how we ain't going to allow this case to affect the project."

Two days later,
After Lara was discharged, the justice called a meeting where Lara informed the justice of all that had happened to her and how she found out about Kayla's demise.
"This is the sickest thing I've ever heard" James confessed after Lara finished talking.
"For your own safety Lara, you'll have to stay with me until everything ends" Jeremy proposed and Lara replied with a nod.
"That is so unjust!" Lillian exclaimed."you did not do anything wrong to get suspended," she complained.
Mary laughed hysterically and pointed a finger at Lillian.
"Now, what is so funny?"Yomi asked with a frown on his face.
Mary shrugged before she spoke up." Look guys, this is mecianda. This is a country without justice and those who are punished by the law are the weak and poor. Lara got suspended because she spoke the truth. Timothy Matthews was killed because he refused to join hands with corruption. Linda died because she opened her mouth ." when Mary finished talking, the room grew silent. For some moment nobody could speak until Mary spoke up again.
"This is the reason why this team is created. We are the justice and we will fight against injustice in this country." Mary raised her hands.
They all looked at her for a while until Jeremy put his hands together and clapped. Seeing this, the rest began to clap for Mary.
"That was some speech. For a moment, I thought you wanted to say something bad" James commented and looked at Mary with affection in his eyes. "I must say that I'm impressed, Mary"
Mary smiled and whispered a thank you to him.
"So guys, what is the way forward. We have less than five days to come up with concrete evidence for kemisola's trial." Jeremy informed.
Lillian cleared her throat to gain attention." My video and testimony are enough to pass a fair judgment on Kemisola but, my testimony is useless because I did not say anything five years ago." she lamented.
Lara placed a hand on her shoulders and tap it gently. "Listen up Lillian. Five years ago, you were a naive fifteen years old girl but now you've grown and testified in court for Kemisola is the least you could do after all these years "
"Thanks, Lara. That's is exactly what I'm going to do. Hamilton's boys' latest flavor can also testify right?"
"You mean their new victim?" Mary asked and Lillian nodded.
"What do you think boss?" Mary directed the question to Jeremy.
"We need to visit her and get her to testify. Lillian gets the address of the girl before today runs out. I need to pick a friend at the airport" he informed.
"A friend?" They all asked at the same time.
"Yes, a friend. She is a friend I met in London. A NIS agent and one of the smartest people out there."
"No way!" Yomi exclaimed because he and Lisa were the only ones who could relate to Jeremy's information.
"Why do you need a NIS agent?" Lara asked.
"Because, for us to win the fight against these people in power, we need support from anyone and I think Kendra James is one of the people we need," Jeremy said.

A woman who looks to be around 176cm tall, broad shoulders, short curly red hair, wearing a black leather jacket with plain black jeans, and a brown combat boot walked into the airport of mecianda.
At the passport checkpoints, the woman removed her glasses for the verification of her identity.
She smiled at the attendant who glances at her.
"Welcome to mecianda miss Kendra James, enjoy your stay"
"Thank you," Kendra answered in a thick British accent.
