Jeremy drove along with you to the airport to pick Kendra James who had arrived at the langose international airport.
On the way, yomi engage Jeremy in a conversation about Kendra James.
"I still do not understand why Kendra James is here in the mecianda," Yomi pointed out.
"I requested her presence because she could help. Kendra James is an intelligent person"
"And crazy as well," Yomi added and Jeremy chuckled." remember I told you how I met Kendra James when we both served in Iraq?"Yomi questioned.
"Yes. You told me how she shot you in the arm because she thought you were an enemy," Jeremy replied.
"Why are you trying to bring that psycho to mecianda?"
Jeremy smiled before replying yomi."Also, remember that it was this same psycho who helped in tracking down and solving LAN case."
"But--" Yomi tried to argued but, Jeremy shut him off.
"Alright, that's enough. Kendra is a good person trust me"
"I hope so," Yomi said with a hint of sarcasm in his tone.
Through the rest of the drive, Jeremy and yomi did not speak a word to each other. When they finally reached Langose International Airport, Jeremy parked his car in the airport car park...
"We are here," Jeremy announced as he came out of his car.
"Yeah, let's find psycho," Yomi said.
They both walked into the airport and stood among the crowd who were waiting for their loved ones.
"I hate airports," Yomi complained.
Jeremy looked around for a sign of Kendra but, he didn't see her.
"Can you still recognize her?" Yomi asked as he also looked around for Kendra.
"Why won't I recognize Kendra? I haven't seen her in three years but that doesn't mean I do not recognize her."
"How about now?" A British tone spoke at the back of Jeremy and Yomi.
"Kendra?" Jeremy asked as he stared at the red-haired woman in front of him.
"What sup man?" Kendra shook Jeremy's hand and pulled him for a hug." how you doing man?" she asked after they broke off the hug.
"I'm good Kendra. It is so nice to see you. You look ----"
"Different," Kendra completed and smiled. When she noticed yomi beside Jeremy, she stared at him for a minute before she spoke up."Yomi!" she hugged him but yomi remained stiff where he stood.
"It's so nice to see you man"
"It's not nice to see you Kendra.," Yomi replied.
"Man you never change. I thought we are friends innit. You still hate me because I shoot you." Kendra jokingly said but when she saw Yomi was serious, she smiled at him. "Come on man, it was a mistake and I didn't know."
"You never apologized Kendra instead you called me a weakling"
"Come on Yomi, I was joking. You should know me better than that."
Jeremy cleared his throat to break the tension between Kendra and Yomi.
"It's has been a long journey, Kendra. Let's get out of here..."
"Of course." Kendra agreed and looked at Yomi who was staring elsewhere.

"The body of the detective identified as Kayla brown of the langose police department has been taken to the family for burial. She is survived by her daughter, love, a five-year-old girl. The police department wishes Kayla brown a peaceful rest. Kayla Brown is known for her-------"
Lara switched off the Tv in Jeremy's large living room. She cursed furiously as she dropped the remote on the table with a long bang.
"How could the police department not investigate her death? I'm sure it was the chief of police who killed her." Lara lamented.
Lisa walked into the living room with a tray filled with a cup of juice and cookies.
"This is mecianda sweetheart. No one is ready to help the weak. This is a lawless and injustice country dear" Lisa said as she walked into the living room. She dropped the tray of juice and biscuit on the glass center table and sat beside Lara.
"It's infuriating Lisa. I feel the pains and sufferings of those who are affected. Kayla was my friend and I loved her as my sister."
"It's funny how people feeling doesn't change even when they are being hurt by those they love," Lisa shook her head and picked a biscuit from the tray. "Take some biscuit sweetie," Lisa offered.
"Thank you, Lisa. " Lara replied and picked a biscuit from the tray. "When are Jeremy and his guest arriving?" She asked.
"Probably soon since the airport is a two hours drive."
Lara nodded her head and just as they spoke, Jeremy's mansions doorbell rang.
"I think they are here. Let's me go open the door for them," Lara rushed to the door but was stopped by Lisa.
"Wait," Lisa commanded and pointed to a camera that was installed close to the door. "Check there before you opened for security reasons" she explained and pointed to the camera.
Lara nodded and looked through the camera. When she saw who it was, she opened the door.
"Hey," she greeted as Jeremy, Yomi, and Kendra entered the mansion.
"Oh my, you didn't tell me you had a girlfriend," Kendra jumped joyfully and rushed towards Lara. She pulled Lara into a tight hug. "It's so nice to meet you."
Lara stared at Kendra with a confused look. She had no idea of what Kendra was saying.
"I'm sorry for hugging you like that. I was just overwhelmed by Yomi. He has a girlfriend finally!" Kendra exclaimed.
"What the heck? She is not my girlfriend you psycho." Yomi denied.
"No need to deny it yomi. She is a beautiful woman and she suits your personality," Kendra complimented and turned to smile at Lara.
Jeremy and Lisa chuckled at what Kendra had said. It was fun to hear and watch Kendra spoke like a complete idiot but the glares yomi threw at them made Jeremy cleared his throat and stepped into the conversation.
"You are making a mistake here Kendra. This is not yomi's girl. This is Lara Johnson, a detective." Jeremy explained to a confused Kendra.
"Really man? I'm so sorry Lara. I thought you were Yomi's girlfriend. The guy never had a relationship before" Kendra whispered the last words into Lara's right ear. "I'm Kendra James, an ex-soldier, a NIS agent, a smart and incredible woman. A-----"
"And a talkative," Yomi cut in and rolled his eyes at her." No one wants to hear your boring stories, Kendra"
"It's so nice to meet you, Kendra James," Lara said to her with a smile.
"Thank you, Lara," Kendra smiled at her. She looked around the house and when her eyes finally landed on Lisa, she smiled and rushed to hug her. "Lisa!" She squealed and squeeze her into a tight hug. "I've missed you so much. I've missed your cookings and your scoldings" Kendra confessed.
"It's nice--to see you again but right now--- I c-can't breathe" Lisa voiced her discomfort on Kendra's tight hug.
"Oops, sorry" Kendra chuckled. "So detective Lara, what are you doing here?"Kendra turned to face Lara as she asked her the question.
" Erm, Erm," Jeremy coughed. "Yomi please take Kendra to her room that is opposite yours and get her settled in. She must be tired of all those traveling."
"But I'm not a tired man," Kendra tried to argue but Yomi's frowning made her agreed and followed him.
When they left, Jeremy walked closer to Lara and greeted her."hey"
"Hey"
Lisa took the tray from the table and excused herself.
"Sorry about her. that how she is."
"It's no problem. She seems like a good person." Lara answered back.
"Yeah. So how are you feeling?" Jeremy asked.
"Better"
"May I see the cut?" He asked and she nodded.
Lara lifted the hem of her blouse for Jeremy to see the cut Kayla had inflicted on her before she died.
"It seems better," Jeremy said as he examined the cut that we healed but left a scar.
"Erm, Erm," Kendra coughed as she walked into the living room unannounced.
Jeremy and Lara both broke apart and turned to face Kendra who stood in the middle of the living room with a smirk on her face.
"Sorry to break your love story but I can not keep up with that imbecile you assigned to me" Kendra complained.
"Imbecile? You are a bitch Kendra. How dare you hit me on the face all because I asked you to carry your luggage yourself?"Yomi shouted as he walked down the stairs.
" A gentleman always helps a lady in need out"
"Well, I guess I'm not gentle."
"Are they always like this?" Lara asked Jeremy as they both stared at Kendra and yomi who were both in a heated argument.
"It all started years ago. Come let me tell you a story about two soldiers who became sworn enemies all because of a mistake" Jeremy said to Lara.
"Where are we going?" Lara asked and pointed at Kendra and yomi who were still arguing. "What about them?"
"They are adults, they will settle themselves out," Jeremy told her and walked out of the living room.

The next day, Jeremy called a meeting with the justice and Lillian present.?
"Everyone, welcome Kendra James from London" Jeremy introduced, and as he proceeded Kendra stopped him with her hand.
"That enough man. I'll do the introduction myself" Kendra said in her thick British accent." so people. I'm Kendra James, an ex-soldier, a NIS agent, a smart and incredible woman. A woman of---"
Yomi's whistling stopped her from talking.
"Can you please stop that and let me continue?" Kendra smiled and asked yomi politely.
Yomi smiled but didn't stop whistling.
"What is going on with them?" Mary asked Lara who was sitting beside her.
"They are sworn enemies," Lara replied.?
"Oh!" Mary nodded her head as she watched the exchange between Kendra and Yomi.
"Can you guys please stop arguing like children and get to the reason why we are here?" James let out a frustrated groan.
As Kendra opened her mouth to speak, Jeremy stopped her and pointed to a chair that was beside Lillian for her to sit.
"That's enough between you two. I'm sorry about what just happened so let's get to the main purpose of this meeting." Jeremy informed and pointed to Lillian. "She has some information to give to us"
Lillian stood up and thanked Jeremy for allowing speaking. "Thank you all for trying to get justice for my sister and also for Kemisola."
"As if this would not have been solved if you had spoken up earlier," James scoffed at what Lillian had just said.
All eyes turned on him and he shrugged and smiled at them.
"If I may continue please," Lillian begged. "James, I know you hate me for what I did to your sister but I'm here to help you. I have convinced my parent to come for the second trial and I hope they do. I've got information on the girl Hamilton's boys are abusing. When I approached her, she ran away from me, and ever since then, I haven't seen her. With my testimony, the videos, and her testimony, we could get a chance of getting Kemisola out of prison and locking the Hamilton boys"
"So what do you suggest we do?" Lara questioned.
"I need your helps on the girl. If we could get the girl to----"
"To testify in court, blah, blah. That is a story I do not wanna hear again girl. Tell me where last you saw her and describe her" Kendra cut Lillian off from finishing her talks. " so man, tell me the girl's name and the bastards who are abusing her." she said in a more serious tone.
The justice all stared at the girl who was acting childish earlier and could not understand how someone who was acting like a child sounds serious. The only people who didn't seem to be surprised by her actions were Jeremy, Yomi, and Lisa.
"Kendra is right. Let's get down on how we are going to get evidence before the week runs out," Jeremy informed.

The novel was too serious so I decided to make Kendra a little childish but she is a serious and badass woman.
