"Laws grind the poor, and rich men rule the law."

"This is outrageous, how would anyone do something like that?" James' response to the news concerning the circle community was bursting with hatred and vehemence.
After Kendra and the girls left the circle community, they went to Jeremy's firm and called a meeting with justice.
"How could they be so wicked?" Yomi shook his head at the thought of how someone could be so cruel.
"Here are the pictures of the poor life of the circle community I took. If I report this then it would be something the people can talk about," Mary suggested.
"Are you sure you can report this? It's big Mary."James sounded concerned as he asked may if she could do it. Even though their relationships were no longer how they used to be, James didn't want any harm to come to Mary.
" I've got this James. All I've got to do is to provide the editorial chief with the news and they would let me report it, "Mary assured him.
"Okay, that's settled. Remember guys that we only have three days to come up with evidence for Kemisola to be freed. Let's work hard and hope this would work out." Jeremy told them.
"We need a plan here Jeremy. Now that we have a video and hear confessions, all we need is evidence to back up her testimony." Kendra said.
"I agree with Kendra too. We need evidence that would shock the feathers and freed Kemisola, " Lara added.
"Fine, so how do we go about this plan?" Yomi asked.
"Here is how it going to work out...." Kendra began to list out the things the justice needed to do in the next few days while Jeremy back it up with some more plans and how to get evidence against Hamilton's boys.

Three days to the court case,
Mary walked into the lead Tv station. A ten-story building that stood tall amongst the small buildings on the street. Mary greeted her colleague as she entered the building, she headed to the 8th floor, where the editorial chief office was. As the doors to the elevator opened, Mary breathes heavily before knocking on the door of the editorial chief.
"Come in," a male's voice sounded from inside the office.
Mary entered the office and bow to the editorial chief. Ever since she had started working for the lead Tv stations, it was the first time she was seeing the editorial chief of the lead TV stations. His office was neither big nor small. It was of moderate size. Inside the office stood a mahogany desk that was filled up with papers, and the name of the editorial chief. A long shelf that stood at the back of the chair and filled with all different kinds of books and files. There was also a leather arm sofa and a table in the middle of the office.
The editorial chief stood up and pointed to a black leather armchair for Mary to the seat.
"Thank you Chief Marcus " Mary bows as she took her seat.
Chief Marcus as addressed by his employees was a man that had put all his effort into journalism. He was a man who wanted his company to be the leading TV station in the country and also in some parts of the world. Chief Marcus was a stout-looking middle-aged man, his stomach was as big as a pregnant woman's.
"Mary, I heard you have a mind-blowing report that could benefit the company?" Marcus asked anxiously as he stared at Mary.
Mary who was looking down, looked up to face the man's smiling face.
"Right, ", Mary said and bought out her phone.
" wait," Marcus stopped her from giving him the phone. "Let's us wait for the news director and the assistant chief," just as Marcus spoke, two people entered the office. One was a petite middle-aged woman with black curly hairs and glasses while the other was a man who looked to be about 177cm tall and lean. They both took their seat opposite Mary as soon as they entered the office.
"Shall we began?" The petite woman asked.
"Right. I have something to show you guys and it's a top story that the other media haven't caught a sniff of. " Mary showed them the pictures on their phone and gave it to the petite woman.
"What is this?" The woman asked as she stared at the picture.
"This is a picture of a group of people called the circle community, the feathers took their homes and....." Mary went on about how the feathers took the circle communities home and made them live on the street. She also showed them some record videos of the people confessing and crying about how they lose their community. she was done, the three people in the office with her all gave her weird looks.
"That's is what you wanted to report?" the tall man asked and he sounded as he wanted to scream.
" yes, in fact, I could bring them here for...."Mary tried to say something but she was cut off by the petite woman.
"What nonsense is this? You think reporting stories against the feathers are going to help us. It not going to help this company instead it's going to ruin us!" the woman yelled at Mary.
Chief Marcus cleared his throat and stared at Mary. He cleared his throat again and then burst out laughing.
" hmmmmmm. You do not need to scream at her Davina, she is still a child."Marcus said to the petite young woman." look child," he pointed to Mary." I know you are new in this world and you probably don't know what journalism is all about so I'll let you go for wasting my time." the man told her and pointed to the door for her to leave.
Mary remained glued to her seat and thought about how she was fired from her first job because she reported the truth about the death of a young boy. She could still remember how she was called a fool for believing in truth. Mary faced Marcus and smirked, she stood up and picked up her phone from the table.
"Mr editorial and you both," she pointed to the petite woman and the tall man. " you all should be ashamed of yourself"
"What? Are you..." The woman tries to interrupt but Mary cuts her off and continues to talk.
"I'm not finished assistant chief." Mary glared at her and then continued, "I wonder how you call yourselves journalists, when all that's comes out of your mouths, are lies. You manipulate the truth and turned it into lies because you wanted to be favored. Because you wanted to be known! That's is not what journalism is about. Chief Marcus, you said I do not know a thing about journalism but I must let you know that journalism is all about the truth and nothing but the truth. How can you all call yourselves journalists when all you do is spread lies and humiliate the weak because you want to get favored by those in power. I'm a reporter and I report nothing and nothing but the truth!"
When Mary stopped talking, Marcus stood up and shouted at her but Mary shut him up and told him that, "I quit!"Mary dropped her ID on the table and walked out of the office ignoring Marcus's threat. She joyfully cleared her desk and walked out of the company with a smile on her face. She knew what she said could ruin her career but she was going to stand for the truth.

Mary left lead Tv stations and headed straight to Jeremy's firm. When she got there, the justice was all surprised to see her and they asked her what happened. Mary explained everything to them and they cheered her up that a big opportunity was going to come for her soon.
"You quit your job because you felt they are wrong so I'm happy for you," Jeremy told her.
"What are we going to do about the post?" Yomi asked.
"I have no idea. I guessed I messed our one chance to report this," Mary lamented.
"I do not think you messed up our chances." Jeremy said, " remember how I met you, Mary. When you posted about Linda on your websites," Jeremy reminded her but Mary was finding it hard to remember the websites. "Do not tell me that you've forgotten the websites you created."
"Oh my gosh," Mary covered her mouth with her hands as she remembered her website. " Anonymous," she said the name of the website sadly because she hasn't used it in a long time.
"What's wrong?" Kendra asked.
"I stopped using the website when Linda died because I felt that if I hadn't posted that story on that website that day then probably Linda would still be alive by now."
"Mary," Lara touched her and pats her softly on the back. "Linda's death wasn't your fault and you know it. Do not feel discouraged because you failed her. You can make up for her death by helping others through your website." She encouraged.
"You think?" Mary asked with uncertainty.
"I do not think because I know."
"Thanks, Lara, "Mary smiled and hugged Lara. " so anyone with a laptop I could use. Let's give the feathers what to talk about tomorrow," she smiled as she thought of how the feathers were going to react when they see the news.
"That's what I'm talking about man. I like your vibes, Mary, " Kendra first bumped her. "So how can I help?" She asked.
"Just watch as I report this top news on my website," Mary said proudly.

TWO days to the court case,?
"What the news on the project plan Daniel? It's already a week since the circle people left their community," Simone complained.
It was another meeting of the feathers and Daniel was not looking happy at all. He wore a murderous look on his face.
"Did you wake up without checking your phone at all?" Daniel questioned Simone in an angry tone.
"What do you mean? I do not have the time to check my phone because I have something going on in the office," Simone retorted.
"Simone, how could you not check your phone? See, this has been trending since last night," park informed and showed Simone a video showing the circle community.
"How did this happened? Who the hell posted this?" Simone asked angrily as she watched the video.
"It's a website called Anonymous but people kept posting it all over the net and even some Tv stations are reporting it" Alissa informed.
"Anonymous?" Simone touched her forehead as she tried to remember something.
"What going on? Do you remember anything?" Leonard asked.
"The name anonymous sounds familiar and I do not know where I have heard it before. Have you tracked the address of the websites?" Simone asked.
"It all futile. No end, it wasn't traceable." Munachi informed her.
"What is going to happen now? We can't afford another scandal yet. We need to clear the people ASAP!" Park said.
Daniel laughed hysterically and he stood up from his chair. He pushed the chair down and continued to laugh.
"What is he doing?" Alissa asked much who was sitting beside her.
"Leave him be," munachi replied.
"Feathers!" Daniel's screams made the feathers covered their ears from the noise." here is what going to happen," Daniel said in a calmer tone. "Alissa, prepare a press conference. Let's give the reporter what he or she wants to hear. This useless news isn't going to stop me from achieving my aim." Daniel spoke with confidence and smiled wickedly at the feathers. "Let the game began!"
? ? ? ?? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That's afternoon,
"Good afternoon great people of the mecianda. I'm Daniel Hamilton and I'm here on behalf of the reputation of the feathers. The video and write-up that had been trending since last night is all a lie." Daniel announced in a large conference where different TV stations, news publishers, and different reporters were all present.
"What do you mean by a lie?" A reporter from the city Tv asked.
"It's all a lie because the land doesn't belong to the people. We feathers are good people and we will never treat the people wrongly. I do not know who anonymous is but I urge all of you not to believe whatever nonsense is posted. I apologize to people for getting the wrong information. Thank you very much." Daniel concluded the meeting and went out of the conference room ignoring the questions of the reporters.
"This is absolute nonsense," Mary yelled as she read the comment on her posts. "Someone even called me an idiot who needed money to survive."
"I'm so angry right now that I feel like going over to the feathers and killing all of those stupid features," Kendra shouted.
"Enough shootings already," Yomi said to them and pointed to Jeremy. "Calm down and let's hear what the boss has to say."
"Mary I'm sorry that the feathers outsmarted us and people are insulting you on your websites right now," Jeremy consoled her.
"It's okay," Mary replied with a smile.
"We can not let this bring us down instead let us show the feathers that are we are capable of bringing them down," Jeremy encouraged. "We will go with my plan and Kendra's plan. We have to take these people down."
"Yeah!" Kendra clapped and kicked yomi in the leg.
"Ouch! What was that for?" Yomi groaned and touched his leg?
"It called a victory kick man," Kendra laughed.
"Victory kick!" Yomi yelled and rushed to kick Kendra but Kendra already saw him coming and she ran away from him. "Get back here!!!!" He yelled and chased Kendra around the office.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Are you sure those two are enemies?" James asked Jeremy as he watched as Yomi chased Kendra around the room.
"I have no idea myself," Jeremy replied as he also stared at Yomi and Kendra as they run around.
"It's good to see that everyone is happy to be here," Jeremy thought.
