Lisa burst into tears when she heard what happened to Kendra and James.
"How could this have happened?"?Lisa cried and beat her chest.
She was angry, sad, and heartbroken. She hasn't even gotten over Jeremy and Yomi's death and now this had happened.
" what are we going to do now? Why is this happening to us?"?Lisa cried.
"This is all because of the feathers. This is because of them!" Mary said.
Lisa nodded at her and went on to cry over the loss of three people in just a few days. She didn't know why everything was turning against them. She even broke the promise she made to Yomi's dad to keep Jeremy and Yomi safe.
"I have failed!" Lisa lamented. "I have failed everyone." She said.
Mary and Kemisola both exchanged looks as they watch Lisa blaming herself for everything. Kemisola went to her and consoled her but still, Lisa blamed herself for everything.
"Blaming yourself isn't going to solve anything. We have to find a way to get out of this mess." Mary told her.
"But it's my fault. I didn't protect any of you and now this had happened." Lisa refused to believe that it wasn't her fault.
"Will you stop crying and blaming yourself?" Mary shouted at her. "Crying won't save any of them. We have to do something." She told her.
"What do you mean by we have to do something?" Kemisola left Lisa's side and walked to where Mary was. She sat down beside her and asked the same question again. "What do you mean by that?"
Mary sighed briefly and went to explain what she meant. "All I am saying is that we need to do something. We need to help James and the others. "
"Are you crazy?" Kemisola asked her.
"Why are you asking me that?" Mary questioned back.
"It appears you have gone crazy. My brother said we should leave for Mandoe. Those were his last words to us."
"Stop making it looks as if he is dead." Mary pointed out and went on, " look, we don't know where they all are but I am going to get them out. "
"What are you even saying?" Kemisola stood up angrily. "James told us to leave langose. "
"And I am not leaving!" Mary shouted.? "I am not a coward who runs away when their friends are in trouble."
"You are breaking his promise. My brother didn't risk his life so that you will make a stupid decision." Kemisola fired back. "If I knew you were going to be so stupid then you should have been the one taken."
Lisa gasped and quickly scold her . "that's is not a good word to say Kemi."
"Let's her say whatever she wants but let me remind you that while you were rotting away in prison for the crime you didn't commit, this team put their life on the line to save you so don't be ungrateful. " Mary voiced out and then turn to face Lisa. "If you are with me then do this, call Elijah and some of the circle community over to langose. There is something we have to do."
"Mary, don't do anything that would risk your life. I warned Kendra now look at what happened after that." Lisa said to her.
"I won't seat here and fold my hands while my friends take the hit for everything. I am going to reveal the truth about the feathers and I am going to do that through Linda."Mary informed them. " if you are with me on this then support me," she said and looked at Kemisola. "And in case you are a coward, fold your arms and watch as I destroy the feathers."
"What do you intend to do?" Kemisola asked her.
Mary looked at her for a while before replying to her. "Social media. Everyone believes what they hear not what they see. I am going to reopen Linda's case. I am going to ruin the feathers through social media."
"But they will come after you," Lisa told her.
Mary chuckled and shook her hand. "Then I'll be waiting for them. I am going to make myself known and if I have no supporter, I am going to keep on going until I get what I am."
"I am in," Kemisola said. "Let us do this together. Let's bring down the feathers."
"I am also in." Lisa joined hands with Mary's. "Tell me what I have to do."

Three days to the feather's launch party.
The feathers except Munachi were all present in their meeting room to discuss their launch party which was coming up soon.
"We have come this far so we need to talk about what happens next," Daniel informed them.
"I think once the launching is over, we should get Olusola impeached," Alissa suggested and they all gasped.
Leonard was the first to speak. He cleared his throat and proceed to ask why she said that.?
"Why did you say that? Olusola has been a huge help to us." Leonard reminded her.
"That's is the more reason why we need to impeach him. He is a cunning president and soon, he is going to be wanting more." Alissa told them.
"Olusola will never snitch on us. He is a puppy that is afraid of his past." Park told them.
Alissa burst into laughter and then shook her head. "That's is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Have you forgotten he is the president?"Alissa laughed again but this time, it was an evil kind of laugh.
" it's not funny," Simone told her.
"I never said it was. So Daniel, " Alissa turned to face him with a smile on his face." How is it going with Johnson's daughter?" She questioned.
"She is in a safe place where no one can find her."
"What about her friends? Where are they?"
"My men captured another one but he is not of importance. Soon enough, I will get rid of him." Daniel told her.
"Very well. Then we have nothing to worry about." Alissa smiled.
"I am sorry to burst your bubble but we have a huge problem," Munachi burst into the room with a paper in his hand. "This is trending everywhere. It's trending online and the papers." He told them and took his seat beside Park.
Alissa snatched the paper from his hand and read out what she saw." Are the Hamilton boys who they are? Who is Linda?"
"What does this mean?"Simone questioned.
" It means you didn't capture all of them!" Alissa shouted at Daniel.
"What are you saying?" Daniel questioned angrily and grabbed the paper from Alissa's grip. He read everything on the paper and slammed the paper on the table when he was done. "Who wrote this?"
"Nobody knows. It was released online yesterday by a blogger called anonymous." Munachi informed them.
"Isn't that Akinsola boy website?"Simone asked.
" of course it is, "Alissa replied.
"If Jeremy is dead and we have the others then who is posting all these articles," Park questioned.
Alissa stood up from her seat and slammed her hand on the table. "This is why I told you that everything is going to turn on us. I told you that Jeremy isn't just one man alone. He has an army and they are after us!" She shouted.
"Shouting won't solve any of this. We need to find a solution." Simone told her.
"And what solution is that. Nobody ever listens to me and now we are here." Alissa shouted again.
"Silence!" Daniel yelled and the room grew silent but Alissa stood in the middle of the room but didn't say anything. "I am going to get whoever posted this." He promised.
"Going to get? You are not getting anyone because they are after us and they are going to destroy us." Alissa reminded them of what would happen once the truth is down. " we are all going down! It is the end."
"We have to find a way to gain people's attention. We have to find a way." Simone pointed out.
"I have a suggestion," park told them and they all listened with rapt attention. "We need to gain back the people's attention and the only way is through our newest Launch."
"How?" They all asked at the same time.
"The people are attracted to physical and material things. If we make promises then everything would be solved."
"What kind of promises Park? No one is ever going to believe us." Alissa voiced out.
"Not if the promises ain't beneficial," Park said and explained better to them. When he was done, they all agreed with him except Alissa.? ?
"I object to this." She said.
"You never agree to anything Alissa," Simone replied to her.
"This is different. Park's idea is nice but it is going to backfire."
"How?" Munachi questioned her.
"If we promise to give the people jobs after the launching of the building and we didn't then it going to make the people hate us more."
"That's is not possible Alissa. Everything will be settled once the launching is over." Park told her.
Alissa opened her mouth to speak again but she was shut up by Daniel. "We are going to follow Park's idea. I am going to do whatever it takes for this to work out. If you want to back out this time Alissa, it's your choice."
"What are you trying to say?"
"All I am saying Alissa is that I am tired of you trying to make everyone think you are right. If you want to opt-out of this whole thing then please do so." Daniel told her.
"So everything I have done for this group is a total waste. I wasted my time right?" Alissa questioned Daniel and when she didn't get a reply, she walked to her seat and grabbed her bag from the table. "Let be clear on this, whatever happens after this is none of my concern but since I am still a member of the feathers and I contributed to the skyscraper, I will see you all at the launching." She told them all and walked out of the room. As she walked out of the room, she expected one of the members to call her back but none of them did which made Alissa believe that she needed to leave the feathers before everything finally turns against them

Jeremy read the newspaper in his hands over and over again until he was sure he had read everything on the paper.
"This came out this morning and the only person who is smart enough to do this is Mary," Yomi told him.
"But why would she do that?" Jeremy questioned.
Yomi shrugged his shoulders.
"Something might have happened for her to post such a thing," Jeremy said.
"What do you think happened?" Paul questioned and dropped the paper in his hand.
"Since Kendra is with us then she is probably missing," Yomi told him. "They might be looking for her right now."
"You are right. They are probably looking for me." Kendra's voice sounded on the stairs. Her footsteps grew closer as she walked down the stairs.
