That's evening, James, Mary and, kemisola arrived at Kendra's apartment. When they got to her front door, they met the door ajar and looked around before entering her house.
"Oh my God!" Mary exclaimed when she saw the situation of the house. The sofa inside the living room was filled with holes from the gun shooting. Kendra's TV laid broken on the ground. Books littered the ground.
"What happened here?" Kemisola questioned as she looked around the room.
"Maybe she is here somewhere. Let's find her." Mary encouraged and began to call Kendra's name. "Kendra! Where are you?"
"There!" James pointed to Kendra's room. "Let's check that out." He said and walked into the room. The first thing he noticed when he entered was the window. It was left open.
"She is not here either!" Mary said as she looked around the room.
"If she is not here then where Is she?" Kemisola questioned.
James didn't reply to any of them instead he placed himself at the edge of the window and jumped down. When he landed, he looked around him, and then he saw traces of blood.
"Kendra!" He exclaimed and then looked up at the window where Mary and Kemisola were watching him.
"Did you find anything?" Mary asked but James didn't answer instead he looked down. "What did you find out?" Mary asked again and when she didn't get a reply, she jumped and landed beside James. "What did you find out? James didn't reply instead he pointed to the blood on the ground.
" oh my God! Is that Kendra's? " she asked and James gave her a nod. Mary looked around and when she saw more blood on the ground, she traced the blood to the front of Kendra's house and stopped at a point. "If that's was her blood then where is she?" Mary questioned.
"Whatever happens here is unexplainable. I can't seem to get it." James told her.
"What if they have her too? Why is this happening now? Why are we in this situation?"
"Calm down Mary, we might find a clue," James assured her.
Kemisola also jumped and landed safely on the ground. She ran to meet her brother and Mary. "What did you guys find out?" She asked.
"It seems Kendra had also be kidnapped," Mary replied.
"How did they get to her?" Kemisola questioned.
When Mary tried to reply again, James shushed her and pointed to the white Venza that was parked opposite Kendra's apartment. "This car wasn't there when we came. How come it's there?"
Mary let out a scream and held onto James's shirt when she saw two masked men coming out of the car. The men were armed with a gun and it was pointed at them.
"Who are they? What do they want?" Kemisola cried out.
"Stay behind me," James instructed the girls. "Who are you and what do you want?" He questioned them gently.
The masked men didn't reply to him instead they pointed their guns at them.
"Move backward!" James whispered to the girls.
"What are you saying? They have a freaking gun!" Mary muttered.
"We are going to die! This is the end." Kemisola lamented.
"You rather get kidnapped or do as I have told you?" James asked. "When I say run you do that and don't try to look back. Find Lisa and get out of Langose. Go to mandoe where the circle community is. I will find you! Right now, I am going to distract them. Here," he dropped Kendra's car key into her hand. "Take Kemisola and get out of here," he instructed.
"What about you?" Mary cried out.
"Are you crazy? I can't leave without you." Kemisola refused to leave. "We are going to leave together." She said.
James grabbed her hand and pulled her for a quick hug. " If we all try to run then we die. I'll be fine," he said and smiled at her.
"Hey, guys!" James called the attention of the masked guys. "I am not afraid of your gun and yourself. You all might look like? freaking giants but you don't scare me!" James said and walked closer to them. When he saw that he had gotten the attention of the masked men, he turned back and faced the girls.? "Now run!" He shouted and in a rush, he kicked one of the masked men. The other man retaliated and hit James with the back of his gun. James fell to the ground and then raised again. He smiled at the men and rushed to push them down.
Mary and Kemisola took this time to run and rushed into Kendra's car. Mary who was driving reversed back and drove out of the place. As they moved away from the scene, Kemisola looked back and saw James on the ground holding onto the legs of the masked men.
James didn't let go of their legs until he was sure the car was out of sight. One of the masked men kicked James's stomach and hit him on the head with the gun.
James let out a yelp and touched his head. Blood trail down his face and he struggled to keep his eyes open. He heard the men whispering in a foreign language but he didn't care. All he wished for as he loosed consciousness was for Kemisola and Mary to be saved.?

Lara's heartbeat against her chest as she heard footsteps on the stairs leading down to the underground. She bites her lower lips and focused on the door while anticipating the worst. The door burst opened and her heart jumped. A man entered the room but his face wasn't covered and Lara could see the scar on his left eye making the eye completely dark and irritating to look at.
The man looked at Lara and growled at her. The door opened again and this time, another man entered the room but he had a mask on and he was dragging a body behind him. They dropped the body beside Lara and she screamed out when she saw the bloody face.
"How did you find him?" Lara questioned the men in the room but they didn't reply to her. "What have you done to him?" She yelled at them. Lara cried and could only watch as James laid on the ground because her body was tied to a pillar. "What did you do to him? James! James!" She shouted.
"Shut your mouth up!" The scarface man shut her up and?proceed to pull her by the hair.
"What are you doing? Let's go off me!" Lara struggled to break free from his grip.
"You make another noise and I put bullets on his head." He threatened and let go of her hair. He went to the other man and muttered some words in a foreign language then he turned to face Lara."You stay calm or I'll kill you." The man warned her and then walked out of the room with the other man.
After they left, Lara shouted at James to wake up. "Wake up James!" Lara cried. "Stand up!" She shouted. When she didn't see any reaction from James, she burst into tears and blamed herself for his condition.
"It's all my fault," she said.

Yomi paced around his room and looked at Kendra every second to see if she moved or show a signal that she was waking up but he saw none and walked out of the room when he was fed up with waiting.
Yomi walked into the living room where Jeremy, Paul, and Celina were discussing. He interrupted them by telling them about Kendra's situation.
"She isn't waking up," Yomi told them.
"You need not worry yomi. The doctor had told us she is fine. " Paul reminded him.
Yomi sighed and stood up from where he sat. He paced around the room and whispered some incoherent words.
Jeremy watched Yomi as he paced around the room. He knew Yomi's worries about Kendra and he knew that yomi won't rest until Kendra is fine.
"Paul is right. You need to calm down and let her wake up." Jeremy told him. "Will you please stop pacing around?" Jeremy begged him. When he didn't listen, Jeremy shouted his name. "Yomi!"
Yomi looked at him and went back to his seat.
"Listen Yomi," Jeremy said. "Kendra is going to be fine so don't fight yourself about it." He told him.
"I just wish something like this wouldn't happen to her. She stayed back in Mecianda because of us. She quit her job because of us and now she there laying on the bed. She is there because of us!"
"Don't beat yourself about it," Celina told him. "She is going to be fine." She assured him.
"I hope so," Yomi replied.
"The backpack you found her with, we found something inside," Jeremy informed him.
"Tell me what you find." Yomi requested.
"Alright, let's get to it," Jeremy said.
