Olusola dropped the phone on his hand down and faced Edmund. "I want a background check on him before we decide on anything."

Few days after Jeremy's video went viral, the number of people protesting against Daniel and his sons increased in number and the talks about Hamilton's boys became the first trending topic on every news and internet in mecianda and some part of the world.
It was hard for the feathers to go out of their homes without been followed around by paparazzi and angry citizens. Due to the argument that happened between Daniel and Alissa a few days ago, the feathers haven't come together to have a meeting together and it was wrecking their reputations.
Jeremy and the justice planned their next action against the feathers and it was agreed that another way to get the people's attention on the feathers was through the circle community. Jeremy and the justice paid a visit to the circle community and offered them accommodation in exchange for their help.

When two sleek cars parked in front of the dilapidated building where the circle communities, the people feared when they saw the cars but when Kendra and Lara came out of the car, Elijah the dwarf man went on to meet them.
"Kendra! Mary!" He shouted their names angrily. "How dare you promised to help and you didn't?" Elijah roared. "It has been a month since you both promised to help us and ever since then we haven't seen you!"Elijah marched towards Kendra and kicked her on the leg.
" ouch! That's hurt, Elijah." Kendra groaned.
"That's exactly how we felt when you left us here! Where are the other two huh?" Elijah stretched his neck to see if he could see Mary and Lillian but due to his stature, he was unable to see Jeremy, Yomi, James, and Kemisola who stood beside the car. "Where are they?" He yelled.
Kendra opened her mouth to speak but she was interrupted by Jeremy who walked closer to where Elijah stood.
"It was all my fault, " Jeremy spoke up as he walked closer to Elijah. "It's nice to finally see you, Elijah, " Jeremy greeted him with a smile.
"And who the hell are you?" Elijah asked rudely and looked from Kendra to Jeremy.
"He is a lawyer and he is here to help you," Lara explained who Jeremy was to Elijah.
"Why should I believe you?" Elijah questioned while Jeremy suspiciously.
"Because he helped me, " Kemisola said and stood beside Jeremy. " he is a good person, and when he says something, he always fulfilled it."
"Is this some kind of group scheme? Who the hell are you guys?" A man from the circle people spoke up amongst the people.
"We are people who believe have a right to the law and also we also believe in justice," Jeremy announced.
Elijah eyes him and breathes a sigh of relief. "Come have a seat and we can talk." He said and lead them to a room where plastic chairs were. He offered every one of them a chair. "Have a seat everyone. We have no food to offer because we got none, " Elijah said jokingly but there was a hint of sadness in his tone. "So tell me why you are here?"
"Before we state the reason why we are here, can we please see Ruth?" Mary begged.
"Ruth? She is somewhere sulking over the fact that you abandoned us." Elijah informed her.
"Can we see her?" Lara requested.
Elijah nodded and pointed to a man amongst the crowd. "Go call Ruth from her usual spot." He said to the man. The man nodded and walked out of the building. "So Mr justice and his Crews, can you tell me the actual reason you are here?"
"We are here to help you?"James replied to Elijah.
"I have heard that a thousand times, so please say something else, " Elijah replied sarcastically.
"It's the truth. We are here to help you and everyone here, " Jeremy pointed to the faces of the circle community. When he first entered the building, he was upset and angry that people were living in an abandoned, dilapidated building. He felt for the people and couldn't believe that the people were suffering and the feathers were living a luxurious life.
"I'm here to tell you all that I will provide for you a temporary accommodation until I help you get your land back, " Jeremy announced to the people.
He didn't plan to give them an accommodation because what he had in mind was to provide them with food to eat but when he saw the state the people were in, how the children were looking sick and dirty and how the whole building reeks of dirt, he decided to help them until he helped them get their land back. He knew it wasn't going to be easy in caring for a whole community but he knew he couldn't leave the people in the building.
"Are you kidding me?" A woman holding her child in her arms laughed and then burst into tears. "How dare you come here and tell us lies? Look at us, look at the children. Do you know how many of us have died because we couldn't feed well?" The woman yelled and cried out in pain. "I lost my husband to poor feeding and now my child is sick and on the verge of death so don't come here and lie to us!" The woman roared.
Jeremy felt tears drop from his eyes and he quickly wiped the tears off. He looked at the woman who was crying and holding her child in her arms. Jeremy could feel her pain and suffering. As he opened his mouth to tell her that he was telling the truth, Lara beat him to it.
"He is telling the truth. When Jeremy says he would do something, he will surely do it." Lara defended Jeremy and looked at him.
"Where can you accommodate us all?" Elijah asked.
"How many are you guys?" Jeremy questioned and looked at the people in the building.
"Our number has reduced to 28," Elijah announced sadly, "we've lost some people over the weeks due to poor feeding and the weather."
"That's so sad, " Jeremy stood up and walked to the woman who shouted at him. "Hi, what is your name?" Jeremy asked the child in her arms.
"Sophia, " the child whispered.
"Sophia, I am not going to help you and your mum. I will also make sure that you are treated in one of the best hospitals and also you wouldn't have to worry about food anymore, " Jeremy promised.
"Pinky promise?" Sophia mumbled and stretched her hand towards Jeremy.
"Pinky promise."Jeremy intertwine their pinky fingers together and smiled at the little girl. "You are going to be fine, " he said and faced the mother who was watching their interaction together. "I promise to help you, your child, and everyone here altogether, " Jeremy said to the woman.
"Thank you, " the woman bows her head and burst into tears again, and also apologizes to Jeremy. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry." She cried.
"It's okay, " Jeremy pat her back. "It all going to be fine," Jeremy assured her and walked back to his seat but he didn't seat down instead he stood up straight and addresses the people. "Listen up everyone, I have a mansion in Mandoe and it belongs to my late father. It's a family house and it's unused for now so I will help you all down to mandoe to stay there until I help you all get your land back." As soon as Jeremy finished talking, a loud cheer sounded throughout the building.
"Thank you!!!" They all chorused.
The people began to hug themselves and laughed as the sadness on their faces was gone and it was now replaced with smiles and hope.
"Thank you so much for this sir, " Elijah shook hand with Jeremy and the people clapped.
"I'm really happy that you guys fulfilled your promises, " Ruth who was watching the whole interaction between Elijah and the justice walked to them. "Thank you."
"No, thank you," Kendra replied and Hugged her. "Without your help, the case wouldn't have gotten solved. It all thanks to you and the circle community."
Jeremy informed the people that they would be going to Mandoe in three days and he was going to make everything available for him.
"I will be in charge of your transportation down to Mandoe and once you get there, I will also be in charge of your feeding, " he announced and they all clapped. "It won't be easy for me so I'll ask people for help so here is what you are going to do in return for me," Jeremy informed them and they all listened with rapt attention.
"Yes sir, we are ready to help." An old man said from the crowd.
"We are ready to help you, " they all chorused.
"Here is what's going to happen, " Jeremy said and began to them what to do. For the next few hours, Jeremy and the justice interviewed the circle community. While Jeremy and Lara spoke to them, Mary and the others video them.

"Sir, " Andre entered into the bedroom of Daniel. The room was painted in white and there was a king-sized bed that Daniel laid on at the center of the room.
"What is it?" Daniel groaned out in frustration as he stood up from his bed.
"You are trending everywhere sir," Andre informed.
"I know. It old news." Daniel answered.
"I know sir but this time, it's all about you and the feathers," Andre informed him and turned on the large screen Tv in the room. "You and the feathers are trending on every TV station."
"How are we trending?" Daniel asked but Andre didn't reply instead he pointed to the TV screen.
"A video from the anonymous website had gone viral over the country and all around the world, here is a video of the trending topic of the feathers and their evil deeds as regarded by the poster." the reporter's face was removed from the screen as a video started playing. At first, the video showed no one but a voice was speaking underneath the video.
"Hey everyone, I'm anonymous and I'm here again. You can't see my face for now but I promised to show you all soon. Today, I will be showing you all the truth behind the feathers project. They promised to help those who would be affected by their project but it was all a lie. Before I start showing the video of the people affected, I have here with me Attorney Jeremy Akinsola, the lawyer who bought Hamilton's boys to justice." The video revealed Jeremy's face.
"Hello great people of mecianda, I'm Jeremy Akinsola once again and I'm here again with anonymous to reveal the truth about the feathers. Some weeks ago, a video was uploaded online and the people ignored it because Daniel Hamilton spoke lies to the masses. The video was all about the circle community who were chased wrongfully out of their habitats." Another video played showing the video of the circle community that was uploaded a few weeks back but was disregarded after Daniel Hamilton fabricated the truth. When the video finished playing, it went back to showing Jeremy's face.
"Because of the video you ignored, people lost their lives. The people were left alone to starve to death. Children got sick and were close to death due to the state of their living. This all happened because of the lies of Daniel Hamilton and the feathers. Look at the state of the living of the people and tell me if this is a lie or not, " Jeremy stopped talking and the video showed the dilapidated building the circle community was staying in. The video showed children, old men, and women who looked sick and were laying on the ground. The video went on to show the building and the surroundings.
"I know you all probably think this is a lie but it is not. The people are living like this because of the feathers. These people are suffering like this because of the feathers!" Jeremy shouted. "Since the government has refused to listen to the people's cry, my team and I have divided to help the circle people get temporary accommodation. We cannot do this alone and so we urge you all to come out and support the people with whatever you have and also help in getting their land back. I'm Jeremy Akinsola and I fight for justice. " The video ended and went back to showing the reporter.
"As you can see from the video that Attorney Jeremy Akinsola is a hero who loves the people. He is doing what the government should be doing and......." Daniel didn't let the reporter finished talking as he threw the flower vase on the desk beside his bed to TV. The TV screen broke and the pieces scattered across the room.
"Call the Feathers now!!! They have to get here either way or it's over for all of us, " Daniel ordered and screamed at Andre to get out of his room. When Andre left, Daniel trash his room and screamed out loud.
"Jeremy Akinsola!!!"
