Jeremy in his unconscious state dreamt of his family and how they told him to move on and forget his past. Jeremy cried as he watched his family leaving his side once again and when he finally said his goodbye, he woke up to the real world but then he heard the footsteps entering his room and he pretended to be asleep.
As the footsteps got nearer to him, Jeremy figured the person wasn't someone he knew and he made a decision. He grabbed the person by his hand and opened his eyes.
"Who are you?" He asked and tightened his grip on the person's hand. "Who are you and who sent you here?" Jeremy asked and struggled to rise from the bed.
Andre saw his struggles and used that opportunity to pushed Jeremy down and ran to the door, as Andre continue running he bumped into yomi in the hallways.
"Sorry, " Andre bows and walked away from him.
Yomi looked at him suspiciously and then he ran into Jeremy's ward. He met Jeremy struggling to raise from the bed.
"Oh my God. Jeremy, are you okay?" Yomi quickly rushed and checked him to see if he was hurt. Seeing that he was fine, yomi walked to the window and saw Andre getting into a car, he shouted and rushed to the door but Jeremy called him back.
"Yomi, get back here. You don't have to follow him, " Jeremy said and pointed to the ground.
The syringe that was filled with red liquid that was meant to use on Jeremy by Andre laid on the floor.
"I think it was dropped by that man," Jeremy informed.
Yomi bought a handkerchief from his pocket and used it to pick the syringe from the ground. He examined the syringe and shook his head because he had no idea of the liquid inside the syringe.
"He was sent here to kill me which means that the feathers want me dead," Jeremy explained to yomi who continued to stare at the syringe. "I need to get out of this hospital now"
"But you are not fit to even stand up. You've been in that bed for weeks Jeremy and I'm not going to let any harm come your way"
"Yomi I'm not telling you this, I am ordering you as your boss, get me out of here now and call Lisa to set a meeting with the others."
"Are you insane?" Yomi shouted, "you fainted after a case and now you want to set a meeting after you just recovered. You are insane Jeremy Akinsola"
"If I continue to stay in this hospital then I'm going to die soon because this is molly's hospital" Jeremy protested and struggle to rise from the bed.
"What are you doing Jeremy?"
Jeremy ignored Yomi and stood up from the bed. As he landed on his feet, he stumbled and almost fell but Yomi quickly grabbed him.?
"This is what I mean when I said you are not fine. You can't even stand on your own!" Yomi yelled and helped Jeremy up. He placed Jeremy's hand around his shoulder and he helped him out of the door.? "Whatever makes you want you to get out of here, it must be for a good reason," Yomi said to Jeremy who only nodded in response.
As they got to the receptionist, the doctor and nurses tried to stop them from leaving but after settling the medical bills and signing the discharge form. Yomi took Jeremy away and ignored the Doctor's and nurse's protests.
After helping Jeremy into the passenger seat, yomi entered into the driver's seat and drove out of molly's hospital car park. On their way to the mansion, Yomi bought up the reason why Jeremy fainted after the case because he wanted to know why and what caused it.
"Jeremy, what happened after the case," Yomi asked and then proceeded to tell him how everyone felt when Jeremy fainted. " You got everyone scared Jeremy. Did you get triggered by a memory?"
Jeremy remains silent for some minutes before he finally gave you the answer to his questions.
"I met my family killer, " Jeremy announced, and yomi step on the brake which caused the both of them to jerk forward." ouch, yomi I'm not wearing seatbelts" Jeremy touched his head that got hit in the process.
"I'm sorry, but that was a lot to take in, " Yomi apologized and tried to start the again but Jeremy stopped him.
"Just Park somewhere quiet and when I'm done explaining everything, you can start the car again. I don't want to die just yet, " Jeremy said and rubbed his head.
After yomi parked the car safely beside the roadside, Jeremy went on to tell him how Daniel Hamilton was behind his family's death and he remembered him through the voice the night his family died.
"Wow! That's is... I don't even know what to say, Jeremy. I can't believe the killer was right in front of us"
"And now that I know, I'm going to make sure I bring him down along with those who were involved in the process." Jeremy gritted his teeth as he spoke. " That's man is a demon and we have to take him down before he does something worst."
"Agreed. I just texted Lisa and I informed her about the meeting." Yomi informed Jeremy and started the car again, he drove into the street and headed towards Jeremy's mansion.

Few minutes after Jeremy arrived at his mansion, he was lead into his room and all those who came to visit him were all invited into his room.
"Jeremy!" Kendra exclaimed as she walked into Jeremy's room. She rushed towards him and embrace him. " I thought you were going to die or something, " Kendra sobbed as she hugged Jeremy. "I'm happy you are back Jeremy"?
"It's nice to see your annoying face again Kendra, " Jeremy joked as he returned her hug.
Next came Lara who walked gently to Jeremy and touched his hand. "I'm happy you are fine Jeremy, " Lara said as she touched his hand and when she tries to pull away, Jeremy grabbed her hand and pulled her close to him. "What are..."
"A nice hug would do, " Jeremy said as Lara struggle to get out of his touch. "Keep calm, " he whispered into her ears.
Lara relaxed into his arms and higher him tightly as her life depended on it. They were in each other's arms for so long that they forgot people were in the room until Kendra decided to break the tension.
"If you both are done with your Reunion, can the rest of us greet Jeremy? " Kendra joked and pointed to Mary, Lisa, James, and Kemisola that were inside the room.
Lara pulled away from the hug and didn't bother to look up at the faces of the people in the room. She was beyond shy to even face any of them.
"Good to see you again man, " James pat Jeremy on the shoulder.
"Thanks, man, " Jeremy replied with a smile.
"I'm happy to see you again. When you fainted, I thought all hope would be lost for us but now I'm happy that you are back in one piece." Mary smiled and hugged Jeremy.
"Same here Mary. I'm happy to see you again"
Lisa also came to Jeremy and gave him a motherly hug.
"I thought I failed Mr diamond and your parent when you fainted. I would never have forgiven myself if anything had happened to you, Jeremy. "
"It's okay Lisa. It wasn't your fault and I'm okay because nothing happened to me. " Jeremy assured her and smiled at her. " I'm fine Lisa."
Lastly, it was Kemisola who came to meet Jeremy. She stood beside his bed and sobbed as she looked at him.
Jeremy stared at the girl who reminded him of his little sister. He was happy that the girl got out safe and sound. He was also happy that Kemisola looked different than the last time he saw her. When he saw her crying, he offered his hand and beckoned for her to take it.
"Come here, " he said to her.
Kemisola cried as she hugged Jeremy. " Thank you so much, " she sniffles. "Thank you so so much, Jeremy. "
"It's okay Kemisola. " Jeremy said and caress her hair. " it nice to see you here and happy again." Jeremy looked around for a certain someone and when he didn't see her, he asked about her.
"Where is Lillian?"
"Erm, Lillian, and her family left Langose to mandoe to start all over again. She asked me to thank you for making sure that her sister got the justice she deserves. She hopes to see you again and she said in case you needed help again, she is willing to help." Lisa relates to Lillian's last message to Jeremy.
"Alright, thank you, Lisa."
When the greetings finally ended, they all sat on the black leather couch in Jeremy's bed but because it couldn't accommodate all of them, Lara and Kemisola sat on the bed along with Jeremy.??
"I called this meeting with you all today because I almost got assassinated by an unknown man, " as Jeremy announced his near assassination, everyone in the room gasped.
"Who would have done such a thing? How can someone just entered a hospital just like that?" Kendra asked.
"This is mecianda Kendra and molly's hospital belongs to Simone ikechukwu, one of the feathers and it would be easy to assassinate Jeremy in that kind of environment," Yomi explained to all of them but they still had a look of confusion on their faces. "The assassin dropped this, " Yomi removed the syringe he hid inside his suit pocket and showed it to the justice. " I have no idea of what this is but whatever the content is, this was supposed to be used by the assassin to eliminate Jeremy. "
"Let me see that, " James said to him and took the syringe that was placed inside a handkerchief from Yomi. He examined it and shook his head because he had no idea of what the syringe contains. " I? need to test this in my lab to see what it contains" James offered and Jeremy nodded.
"Alright James. Go ahead and find whatever that thing is, " Jeremy said to him.
"I know Daniel Hamilton hated you because you won the case but why would they wanted to kill you, " A confused Lara Questioned Jeremy.
"It's because of the case Lara and right now, I am not safe and I have to make sure they do not come after anyone of you."
Kendra laughed and when everyone in the room started staring at her, she cleared her throat and spoke up. " look, Jeremy, we are all in this together. Right guys?"
"Yes, " everyone in the room chorused.
"If anyone is coming at you then they have us to deal with. I didn't leave London to come here and do anything. I'm here for justice man and that exactly what everyone in this room is here for." Kendra paused before she continued, "we are all here for you and I'm going nowhere because I have come to stay."
When Kendra finished, it was Yomi who first clapped before the rest followed. "That's was something. I must that I'm impressed, Kendra." Yomi said to her.
Kendra grinned and put some strands of her hair behind her ear.
"Kendra is right Jeremy. We are here to stay and that includes me, " Kemisola said.
"Same here, " Lara added.
" I am always here for you Jeremy, " Lisa smiled at him.
"We've got your back Jeremy, " Mary and James both said at the same time.
"Thanks for believing in me guys. Since you are in this fight with me, get ready because it just gets tougher. I am going to make sure the feathers get the justice they deserved and all the evil doings would be exposed soon, " Jeremy beat his chest as he made the promise.?
