Chapter 64 Epilogue- The end

Two days later,
Jeremy stood in front of the TV inside Paul's Mansion. He was dressed in a black tuxedo and he looked ready for a party or sort. He smiled when he heard the news about the feathers.
"I'm Melody Anderson reporting from City Tv. After the arrest of the feathers two days ago, they have been charged to court for murder, terrorism, and other sorts of crimes. The feathers as they were being called got arrested on the night of their launch party after Jeremy Akinsola released videos about their hidden crimes. Everyone was surprised when Jeremy Akinsola announced that he was alive. The people are still waiting on Jeremy Akinsola to tell them why he faked his death. Moving on to the purple house, president Olusola had being questioned by the supreme court about his crimes together with the feathers. The citizens of mecianda demand for his impeachment and imprisonment."
A hand touched Jeremy's shoulder and made him turned his eyes away from the TV. He smiled when he realized who it was.
"It's time," Lara announced. She was also dressed in a purple dress that hugged her curves in the right place.
"Alright," Jeremy took her hand and walked outside the mansion with her. They both entered a waiting limousine that was outside the mansion. The other teams were also inside the limo. Dressed like they were all going to a party.
Jeremy smiled when he saw his team. He was happy they finally conquered the feathers but the last word Daniel Hamilton said to him made him doubted that he did the right thing.
"You think you can save the world. Some people are much worst than us outside there."
"Then I'll capture them and bring them to justice."
Daniel laughed and whispered into his ears." justice is dead." He told him.
"Jeremy!" Kendra's loud voice bought him out of his thoughts.
He looked up to her and smiled.
"Are you alright?" She asked.
Jeremy smiled and nodded at her.
"We did it!" Kendra shouted. "We did it." She shouted again.
"Yes, we did!" Kemisola joined in the shouting and soon they both began to dance around.
Lara smiled and faced Jeremy. She smiled at him and remembered their first meeting. It was a harsh meeting but here they were together and happy that they finally conquered their enemies.
"It's over," she said and smiled at the picture of her niece and sister. "I miss you both." She said.

The Limousine stopped them at the front of the city hall where lots of citizens were waiting alongside some reporters. When they?each stepped out of the car, the people chanted their names and some reporters rushed to them to question them. They managed to swarm past the reporters and the people into the hall.
Inside the hall, Jeremy and others sat down in front of reporters and few people who had to support them.
"Welcome to this gathering Jeremy Akinsola and the others. My name is Delia kings and I am from city TV. I have a question for Jeremy Akinsola."
"Proceed," Jeremy encouraged the reporter.
"There has been news concerning you faking your death to blackmail the feathers. How true is this?" The reporter questioned.
Jeremy cleared his throat before answering the reporter. "I never faked my death because I almost died. It was a plan orchestrated by the feathers and president. I was drugged and left on a cliff to die."Jeremy paused for a while and then looked at the faces of his team. " if I had died that day then I would have been long forgotten just like they forgot Felicia Watson, Detective Johnson, Kenneth Kennedy, and the lost souls on parkgo airline,? Timothy Matthews and my father, Abraham Akinsola." he said with sadness. It was like he missed the people he had just mentioned.
"So your death was real?" Delia asked to make sure she heard the right thing.
"Yes," Jeremy replied.
"Sir," a man called Jeremy's attention from the crowd. "I admire your courage and I am a huge fan. Do you think the feathers will get the justice they? deserved or will they get away like they always did?" The man asked.
"I think I'll answer that." Kendra offered. She smiled at the man and stood up to answer the man. "The feathers would surely get the justice they deserved. Those people didn't only trample on the poor. They used their power to create havoc in people's lives. They made children lose their mothers at an early age and also made families lose their lost ones. They will surely get the justice they deserved. " Kendra assured him and sat down.
"I also have a question." A woman in the crowd raised her hand. " Do you think people like the feathers exist in the world? And if they do, what do you have to say to them?" She questioned.
Lara cleared her throat to signify that she will answer the question. When they got her message, she looked at the woman and smiled at her. "There are people like the feathers in the world and they are doing worse to the poor and the weak. What I have to say to all of them is that sooner or later, they are going to face their karma. It going to clap on their faces."She said.
" And they will get the justice they all deserved," Mary added.
"Quick question for Jeremy Akinsola," a male reporter asked.
"Go on," Jeremy said to him.
"Is true that you were the only survival of the fire incident that happened to your family?" The reporter asked.
Jeremy stared at him for a while before he finally nodded his head.
"What do you have to say to everyone watching you right now?" Delia asked him.
"Hello viewers, My name is Jeremy Akinsola and all I have to say is that I finally did it. The ten-year-old boy who couldn't do anything when his family was murdered is proud to say that he had achieved something. But I wouldn't have achieved any of this without the help of my teammate. The justice." He looked at his team and smiled. "Although we ain't complete yet because Lisa isn't here," he said sadly.?"We've worked tirelessly to make sure the feathers got the justice they deserved and now that we have, I think it time we have a vacation. Right guys?" He asked his team and they all replied with a nod.
"I've always wanted to take a break from all this stress. Good idea Jeremy," Kendra gave him a thumb up.
"I can see your team is happy." The reporter commented.
"Yes, we are," Mary replied with a smile. "I hope that Linda is watching us from up there," she wiped a tear from her face and smiled. "It's all over now." She said.
The reporters and people proceeded to ask them questions and when everything ended, they all walked out of the hall together with a happy smile on their faces.

A year later,
It has been a year. A year since the Feathers met their Fate. After Jeremy and his team bought the feathers down, it took the Law two months to gather the pieces of evidence against the feathers together before passing judgment to the feathers.
Daniel Hamilton and his crew got life sentences due to their numerous crimes. Not even their money could save them from the Law's hand. president Olusola got impeached and imprisoned after being charged to court for his numerous crimes.
A new government was formed two months after their sentences.? The feather's properties were all confiscated by the new government and used in compensating those who were being wronged by the feathers.
Daniel Hamilton's children weren't left out of the justice hands. They got a death sentence after being charged with murder and brutal Rape. Daniel couldn't do anything about his children and when he heard about their death, he committed suicide and when an autopsy was performed on him, it was confirmed that he died of BT MONOXIDE.
His death came as a shock to everyone including the remaining feathers. They didn't expect Daniel Hamilton to give up just like that but no one could question the dead. An ambitious man unimaginably met his death.
Six months after the long run, Lisa woke up from Coma and the first thing she saw was her children. She was happy to see her children after so many years. A welcome party was organized for her and her children. Lisa was happy when she learned about Jeremy and Yomi's survival. It was a double surprise for her.
That's six months soon turn into a year and every justice team went their way and continue their normal lives.

Jeremy and yomi stood in the crowd at Langose airport waiting for someone. Yomi looked around to see if the person was around them. Jeremy grabbed his hands.
"Calm down Yomi. We will see her soon." He told him.
"I am calm Jeremy. I'm just anxious to see her that's all. It has been four months since I last saw her so don't be surprised if I'm nervous. "Yomi replied.
" Hey, guys, " A redheaded female wearing a Sunglass waved at them. "I'm looking for a certain someone. Have you seen a beautiful redhead girl today?" The girl asked.
"Kendra!" Yomi shouted and pulled her for a quick hug. The hug soon turned into a passionate kiss and when he pulled away, he hugged her again and kissed the top of her head. "I missed you."
"Jeremy!" Kendra shouted his name and hugged him. "I miss you too." She said.
"It great to have the wildcat back," Jeremy commented.
Soon, they were all on their way to Jeremy's Mansion for their reunion party. As soon as they arrived at the mansion, they all came to hug Kendra and welcome her back to the party.
"It's so nice to see you again Kendra," Lisa said to her.
"Same here Lisa," Kendra answered back.
For the six months that they were apart, a lot of things had happened to the justice team. Mary became a hot top reporter in the city TV station, Lara was promoted back to a detective and she was on the run of catching corrupt politicians like the feathers and president Olusola, James became a criminalist in LGPD while Kemisola joined the army to make up for lost years.
Jeremy, Yomi, and Lisa established another firm in Langose and it had been going pretty well. Kendra was the only one who quit her job to join Jeremy's firm. Paul Kennedy and Celina got engaged and were soon on their way to get married. It had been a long month of being apart but they were together again.
"Guys, I heard there Is a new politician in town that Is threatening to take over the city hall," Mary announced.
"Who is he? Let's go get his ass." Kendra asked.
"It not he but she. Madame Gloria." Lara informed them.
"I don't care about the gender. All I know is that this team is taking her ass down. When should we start the surveillance?" Kendra asked.
"Tomorrow should be a good idea right guys?" Lara asked them.
"I'm so in," kemisola clapped her hands.
"Guys, guys, guys, let's forget about her for now and enjoy the party." Yomi begged." We will discuss that later."
"Yomi is right. Let's enjoy this moment. To justice!" He raised his glass of wine and they all did the same.
"To justice!" They all chorused.
