Ryan's POV
Finally, my friends and I took Jake to the hospital after Rei suggested that we immediately take Jake to get more serious treatment from the medical team. Before we actually lost Jake's life. Because this time Jake's wound was quite serious and he was bleeding from his head. Since then, blood has been flowing from his head. Until the surface of the cafe floor was covered in blood. Jake was completely unconscious.
"We'd better immediately take Jake to the nearest hospital." Invite Rei.
"But?" I said full of doubts.
"Before it's too late because Jake has been bleeding from his head. He could lose a lot of blood and need a donor. If it's not treated immediately, there's a big chance he'll die." Rei explained.
"Hust Rei, don't talk nonsense." Tom argued.
"But there is some truth in what Rei said. We have to immediately take Jake to the hospital before we regret it even more because of the slow action in saving Jake's life." Mark confirmed Rei's words.
"Okay then let's lift Jake's body." I said.
"Yes, I will call an ambulance to come here immediately." Rei said.
"Yeah that's a great idea." Mark said.
We immediately took Jake to the front of this cafe while waiting for the ambulance to come to pick us up, meaning Jake. Rei had called the hospital earlier to quickly send an ambulance here. It looks like an ambulance is on its way to this cafe.
I haven't had time to ask about Rei who had turned into a wolf. But some of my questions have now been answered. I'm just looking for a partial answer. Hope Rei will be honest with us about her true identity. Without anyone trying to hide this from all of us.
Finally, the ambulance arrived and the officers immediately lifted Jake's body onto the bench and pushed him into the ambulance. It didn't take long for the ambulance driver to immediately take Jake to the hospital. Rei and I went with Jake into the ambulance to accompany Jake and make sure he would be safe during the journey. Meanwhile, Mark and Tom followed us using Mark's big motorbike which was parked near the field. Meanwhile, the ambulance was traveling at high speed without any obstacles. Until finally suddenly there was a sudden brake. Rei and I almost fell forward when the car suddenly braked suddenly.
Bang bang bang.
I knocked on the car from behind, trying to communicate with the ambulance officer in front and the driver.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Yes, why? Why did you brake suddenly?"
"Sorry sir, I almost hit a black cat in front of me that suddenly crossed the road."
Huh? Black cat? The street looks quiet and far from the crowds. What is it? What sign is this?
"Yes, let's continue our journey."
Without thinking too much and delaying time, the ambulance driver immediately continued his journey by driving the car back.
Finally we arrived at the hospital terrace after passing through the far gate. Ambulance officers immediately picked up Jake and took him to the emergency room. Meanwhile, one of us was told to re-register at the registration counter. I left everything to Rei regarding administration. Meanwhile I stayed with Jake. When he was pushed, Jake managed to regain consciousness, but only for a short time.
"Ryan." His voice was low and limp.
"Jake are you awake?" Suddenly I was surprised and happy to see Jake awake.
"Forgive me." Then Jake fainted again and became unconscious.
“Jake!” I half-screamed as I walked alongside the hospital worker who was being pushed by the hospital staff. My hand was still in Jake's grip and hadn't let go at all. But his grip loosened but I didn't want to let go. I try to channel positive energy from hand to hand. Unbeknownst to anyone here. Because we are worried about being unreasonably suspicious by ordinary people who don't know that we are werewolves.
Finally we arrived at the emergency room and immediately Rei approached me and Jake who were still weak and helpless and didn't even move a bit after being conscious for a while.
"Hah... heh... hoh... How?" Rei asked after jogging a little to get here quickly. Even his breathing was still unstable and he was still panting.
"He regained consciousness earlier, but only for a moment." I said softly.
"Mark and Tom aren't here yet?"
"Not yet, just wait!"
Hospital staff immediately put Jake on oxygen and an IV drip. Immediately treat Jake according to the procedures in force at this hospital. We are waiting for the doctor's decision regarding whether Jake's current condition is not too serious or whether he needs further follow-up and ongoing treatment. But the doctor hasn't arrived yet. We could only wait until the doctor came and checked Jake's condition. We were really worried and panicked at the same time.
Along with feeling anxious, you also didn't find Mark and Tom coming. Don't worry, something might happen to them on the way. I started to feel confused, as did Rei, who had been pacing back and forth like a walking iron.
Suddenly the doctor came and started asking about Jake's family.
"Sorry I'm a little late."
"Yes doc, please immediately treat our friend and give us certainty about his condition." Rei said.
"Where's his family?"
"Not here yet, doc." I answered.
"Oh yeah okay, I'll try to check on your friends now."
We also gave time for the doctor to examine Jake.
"Sorry, can you go out for a moment?"
"Yes, okay doc."
Rei and I left the emergency room and only the doctor and Jake were left in the room. We feel anxious when we are outside. Hope nothing serious happens to Jake. So he could go home immediately after waking up from fainting.
After a while the doctor examined Jake in the room. The doctor came out of the room and said that Jake needed to be hospitalized for the next few days. Considering the injury was quite serious, it occurred on the head. Rei and I looked at each other confused about what to do. But finally we accepted the doctor's advice. The doctor left us and we both immediately went back into the room to meet Jake and see his current condition. I saw Jake lying weak with a pale face. Looks like he lost a lot of blood earlier. I didn't expect that this would just happen without us being able to predict beforehand.
I looked at Rei's face who looked like she felt the most guilty in this matter. But suddenly I realized that I had thought badly about him earlier.
