Chapter 67
Ryan's POV
The days rolled by and now Jake was starting to get better. He started to actively go to campus and even took part in hockey player training again. We had doubts about it but he looked fine and without any problems or signs that he was in an unstable condition. We were also reprimanded by Coach Miller for missing practice time. Even though there are only a few days left before the tournament. In about two weeks we have to compete. However, our preparations are still thirty percent and not yet complete. In fact, it's far from ready. But our courage was not dampened by reality. We remain serious about training and have the ambition to win the tournament that will be held later. Because this championship will continue at the international level. So we are very enthusiastic about adding to our experience and achievements in the field of Field Hockey sports.
However, we actually lacked one player because there were only five of us. After Endy left as part of our Hoky Team, now our team is a bit lame. Endy is one part of the Hoky Team who is the only ordinary human. He is not a werewolf, during yesterday's practice at Oakwood High School he was injured and dislocated his elbow because he slipped and supported his body with his own hands. Likewise, his hip bone was slightly fractured because he was hit hard when he slipped and held his body. So now we are clearly one player short. On the Hoky team there are only me, Mark, Jake, Dylan and Tom. We have to find one more player so we can continue to take part in the tournament and qualify.
"Jake are you sure you want to go back to training?" I asked Jake.
"Do you think I'm joking?"
"Um, no, but you've just recovered, but that doesn't necessarily mean you've completely recovered, right?" Mark said.
"Yeah, Jake, you should rest first!" Dylan added.
"Yes, you have to recover completely and undergo regular treatment. Maybe next time you can take part in the tournament. But this time, let's just look for two substitute players, Jake." Tom added.
"No! No! I will still practice and take part in the tournament with you."
"Um, that's very naughty." I said.
"Well, if that's your choice, you can make it." Mark resigned himself to Jake's very stubborn decision.
"Oh yeah, Rei, do you want to join our team?" Take me.
"Yes, that's fine, what do you want Rei?" Mark agreed and asked questions too.
"Yes, Rei, our team is missing one member. Because Endy is injured and there is little chance of being able to join our team again."
"No! No! Why does it have to be him? There are still many other students on campus who are more competent. I don't like it, if he joins our team then it would be better for me to leave and resign." Dylan opposed and did not agree if Rei joined us.
"Erm, Dylan is right, I don't have the competence and skills in sports, let alone having to do a hocky ply. Obviously I can't do it and I'm not used to practicing at all."
"Come on Rei!" Mark asked.
"Yes Rei, Dylan will still join us even if you join our team so don't feel bad, we can teach you in a short time but you will quickly be able to follow the game." Take me.
"No! I don't like it and I don't want him to insist on joining us on the Hoky team." Dylan said.
"Hey Dylan, don't be like that, come on! It's just for this tournament, wouldn't you be proud if you could make it to the next match?" Mark persuaded him.
"Um, of course, fine, never mind. But remember, it's only for this tournament. After that, he can't have fun joining our team!" Dylan put forward the conditions after he started to melt down.
"How about Rei, are you ready to join us now for the tournament?"
"Okay, then I'll try, hopefully I can."
"Horeeee, finally Rei has joined us." Jake and Tom were excited after hearing that Dylan agreed to Rei joining and hearing that Rei was willing to join us on this Hockey team.
"That means our team is complete, right?"
"Yeah right, let's start training this afternoon!"
"Yes, cheer up!"
I was enthusiastic again and so were my other friends. We went straight to campus.
"Let's go!"
We also used one motorbike in the convoy to drive three motorbikes. Everything feels exciting and exciting. Today it looks like we will practice with great enthusiasm and enthusiasm. There were no obstacles today and throughout the journey to campus and finally we arrived at campus. Immediately rushed to the field and each of them brought a Hocky stick. The Hocky ball is ready to be played. We immediately started the game after finishing the warm-up.
There's nothing to make a fuss about. The game went as expected. Coach Miller was satisfied with our practice this afternoon. We are starting to look towards the future towards victory. Becoming winners and champions in future tournaments is our goal now. So we will never waste our days continuing to practice until the time comes when we have to compete later.
"Okay, that's enough training for today until this afternoon. Tomorrow we will return to training. Because we will train more intensely to prepare for the tournament. The joint training with Oakwood High School will be held three and two days before the tournament. For the one day before the tournament later Let's take a break from training to keep our bodies fit and maintain our stamina. Prepare yourself mentally for the day of victory. Oh yes, for the final training we will have joint training with the Oakwood High School Cheerleaders team. That's what we can discuss this afternoon When you're done training, you can go home and take care of your health, everyone!"
That's the message from coach Miller. Hmm... later there will be joint training with Oakwood High School. I hope Alina will attend the practice and return to join the Cheerleaders team. Although the possibility is not very big. But I really want Alina to return to training and take part in tournaments later.
Day after day continues, training continues. Until the day comes, tomorrow we will carry out joint training with club children from Oakwood High School. I feel terrible tonight imagining that tomorrow I will meet Alina again after not seeing her for almost two weeks. The last time I saw him was the day Jordan came to mess around and make a troublesome noise.
